The Duke

Elite refresh pull to be posted seconds ago

Jonathan Hart

I never got the idea of messing with mechanical. Like, why we bullying the most important squad in the SILO😭😭

A L

The issue with the darkness must be specific to whatever you guys are watching it on. I didn't have any issues with it when I watched on my TV.

Imari

I think she’s trying to ease into information when it comes to solo cause if she just said what Roshi said it might have upset him. She needs him to understand his own situation before she can explain what happened to him.

Devaughn Hatchett

The reason why the backpack is weird. Is because her bag was still in the classroom, meaning that was the last classroom during the revolution. For him to sit next to her, he would need to be in her class when the rebellion started. The class levels are just grades, like elementary, middle and high school

Jacob Livingston

Im glad y’all are enjoying season 2 as much as I did

Mc Arthur

I think what she was implying was that If he was a child then he wouldnt have been a shadow as he claimed during the start of the rebellion

AnnaSama

My theory at this point was that the Silos are a test. Each one is governed a little differently, some with more freedoms and some with less. Maybe different population control methods, etc. "They" were testing 50 different methods of siloing a population in case of an extinction-level event to see which one could suppress rebellion the longest.

Taffy_47

SHE. GAVE. HER. LIFE. FOR THE SILO......🥷🏾

sol jam

People were complaining so much at this point about pacing although I agree with one or two of the next episodes, up to this point I didn't see any issues when I first watched it and I still see no issues now

girlygirl9983

3:11 - he looks like Robin Williams in JUMANJI movie the 1995 one i saw as a kid Lol

Derpin

I think Jules only saw him as an adult who has been alone and not a child who had been alone and that moment in the classroom was when she finally realized how long it's been. Remember there's not really a frame of reference for how long it takes for things to decay or go into disrepair.

Requiem_Phantom

same, I think it's similiar to the fallout vaults in a way.

Requiem_Phantom

It's because they are so important. Like they said in the episode its' cause they have the power to shut down the silo. It's their way of keeping mechanical in check. That's why whenever something major goes wrong, they blame it on mechanical and the silo's anger goes toward them. It's like a soft reset for the power mechanical holds.

DatKid_Kaneki

ngl gang its still mechanical! im getting down there fast asl and shutting down everything. taking any power charge to the underground area and throw that jawn in water. we all done

girlygirl9983

Who said SILO SEASON 2 was bad it seems pretty good to me so far

Bloodcrusnik

I don't understand why characters like the judge just accept what happens to them. The Mayor just killed you, and you're not going to grab that knife or fork sitting in front of you.

Daniel Martins

No, he said he was the shadow of the head of IT but if he was in that class sitting next to that girl at the time of the rebellion he would have been too young for that

kingBD

think some people just didnt like the pacing of the first half of the season

Moody

Remove your comment, it's too on the nose way too early on. Let them enjoy the mysteries

WackySwacky

Yes, he is lying about being a shadow

PJ Rivera

Its really slow and relies more on character development. Aka a more character driven season than plot driven different strokes for different folks

Alexis Sullivan

Regarding why Jules questioned Solo about the classroom: if i remember correctly, Solo told her he was shadowing the head of Mechanical when the rebellion happened which would mean he was an adult when the rebellion happened but then he just told her he was in the same class as that girl when the rebellion happened. Why would an adult (whos not a teacher) be sitting with children in a classroom? We the audience know he was a child when it happened cuz they showed us him as a kid in the first episode but he told her he was an adult. She's still unaware of just how long ago their rebellion was

Derpin

I am speculating myself. I have never seen the show and I am watching along with them.

Derpin

That makes more sense. I didn't catch that.

Mitch

IMDB has this whole season rated so low compared to season 1 and I just can't see why

Changa

It's the same reason she quit being Bernard's Shadow... and that's all I'll say. Give it time. Let the show cook.

kingBD

Funny how yall say solo reminds yall of victor but since i watched silo before from it was the other way around for me. Really sucks seeing kids have to grow up without any kind of parenting so they develop slowly.

Bloodcrusnik

All good I will. I just hate the trope of a character that obviously knows they are going to die so why not fight. Going to die anyway so might as well fight back.

Dark Shogun

Jules probably had a hard time grasping that Solo was a child because children don't become shadows, and Solo said he was the IT shadow.

Dark Shogun

I think he said he was shadowing the head of IT. Mechanical would NEVER have access to the vault, on the head of IT and his/her shadow.

camille

Man, I wish they had another red ball. They could've just dropped it and said fuck it we all running in the dark.

Delinda Arts

Zoboomafoo is a crazy pull lmao. lotta ya not gonna get that one.

WackySwacky

Because she knows why Bernard did it. If she kills Bernard it’ll probably lead to everyone rebeling and leaving, which has been established as a mass death event. Her request to leave the Silo is a half suicidal request on her part to begin with. So she’s not exactly expecting to live long. Not to mention they sort of had feelings for each other.

Bloodcrusnik

Yeah, guess I just think differently, you kill me all bets are off at that point.

Drewb

ya the timeline does not add up cause he is clearly in his 40s or 50s and this silos rebellion happened during his life but obviously a longggg time ago. i already saw the whole szn so it is funny seeing stuff get confusing cause i was also lost till the later in the szn.

Stale Breast Milk

I don't understand how villainising mechanical will bring peace and stability to the Silo

blud

ROSHI YOU GOT IT JUST RIGHT THIS SEASON RLY DOES KINDA CENTER AROUND THE HARD DRIVE AND SALVADOR QUINN GOOD JOB

xLithion

Did we ever learn anything more about that secret tunnel under the silo that juliettes boyfriend found?

Sam

No

lackingnames

Its a bit stretched out pacing-wise around the middle. That's more or less the only issue though, it was more noticeable when the show was still airing week-by-week. It's far more manageable when watching 2+ episodes a week.

User10101

Idk why but every time I see Solo I'm reminded of Robin Williams lol. May he RIP.

KaladinStormLight

Juliette is just super dumb this season like smashing her hands into the lockers and not using her feet and clearly cant tell solo is acting like a kid that was isolated for decades. You did not miss anything you already figured it out.

Styrical

I get what you mean, but that would be senseless. The only other instance of this exact type of thing happening was with Mayor Jahns, she had no one in the room to avenge herself against, she knew it wasn't Deputy Marnes and that might've also been a more potent poison. The only two other instances were George, he decided to jump off, and Juliette, she struck a deal to stop telling people she hadn't said she wanted to go outside. Meadows shadowed Bernard before, 25 years ago, she understands that shits gotta get done for the sake of the peace, stuff you don't want to have done. She is just more lenient in methods outside of what the pact describes, whilst Bernard is way more by the book (less morals). But even with that, she wasn't one of the good guys. It's not like she had some grand end goal that she'd bregrudgingly want to avenge her death for, she wanted to go outside, a selfish whim. She also knew what type of person he was. She felt betrayed, sure. But that's exactly why she asked him "Why?", once he explained the logic she understood that that was how he viewed it and that there was no other way around it. She had also been suspicious of the lack of a suit, so she wasn't taken quite as off guard as she could've otherwise. They also seemed to have had some sort of romance in the past, so she likely understood that he didn't want to kill her, meaning that there was good reason for him doing so. In terms of fighting back though, some have done that, Deputy Marnes, he fought that guy in his apartment. Juliette tried running in the corn field. But overall petty killing doesn't do you any good. You'd very much so like to resolve things peacefully when you're stuck in a silo from birth to death. You can't realistically run or hide. A series set in the normal world might have a character kill and then skip town, you can't do that in the silo, it's not the culture. Importantly they also get taught very early about the importance of the group, of the mass, and that no individual is more important than the lives of 10000 citiziens. That little slogan is said a couple times throughout the story, but we might get the impression it's only said when there is a moment of corruption that needs to be justified. But I would think that it's just a general rule of thumb/slogan that's said no matter how large the trouble is. The average person might hear that about once every three months or smth like that, who knows, and that would amount to a ton by the time you're 50 and such. The silo is an organized closed isolated home. It's not like the Vaults in Fallout that are connected with other Vaults. It's also not an open wasteland. You have to stick together, put aside what you want in the grand scheme of things, and do what's best for the masses. That's why they have the harsh punishments of being sent to the mines. Actually I reckon that's why it's dangerous, cuz I would assume that they'd be able to reduce the danger with the general knowledge that Bernard has access to. But they choose not to so as to have a productive punishment for those who ignore what's best for the masses and commit treason/a crime. The mines are a good natural way of getting rid of troublesome people. And ultimately, people do fight back, that's why there is a need for Listeners/friends of the silo, the cameras behind the mirrors, and the restrictions on relics.

returntolife

yes, you see what's there later on

Mitch

I think that's fair. I binged the whole season so it didn't really feel like there pacing issues

Precious

Him allowing you to have that name is disrespectful but he's doing it for a reason. He has a lot more ignore will than I do. Trolls will be trolls

PhaedrusRumple

She not worried about how solo is acting. She’s worried about the suit and getting the fuck outta there

James Germain

Knox is playin chess not checkers

Tre

Solo reminds me of bad ape from planet of the ape franchise

ViralCorgi

I think you guys just jump the gun to the right conclusion but Jules is still getting there. The dude told her he was a shadow of the head of iT which made her believe he was an adult when the rebellion happen. However from their convo it's clear he was lying and he was actually a kid, and now still has the mentality of one. after being alone for so long.

Josiah Godfrey

Pretty sure he’s the person that voice acted bad ape

Robert Smith

Bro she's trying to get back to her silo that could all be dead in her eyes. Solo just told her that his Silo died because someone didn't clean. She doesn't have the time to talk to a "child" right now

Blazingku

Man can’t you just throw up the poison. She just finish dinner. Start hacking up. I wouldn’t wait. Shit is crazy.

jim shields

man when I first saw this episode it hit me in the feels hard. Mary's death was so effing sad. Solo also made me cry a couple of times.

Xavier Baker

Nah bro ,she started digesting already

fluffypuppy2k
