Btw Lyta Hall in the comics was the daughter of a superhero named Fury and Fury got her powers from the Kindly Ones so Them calling Lyta Granddaughter in the last episode was a Reference to that.

They speed ran it because the author got busted for being a creep so they weren’t going to get anymore seasons as such they had to super condense the story as much as they could.

Just commenting to say I watched the first season of this show when it came out, but after everything that went down with the author I knew this show was destined for cancellation, so no point in getting invested in it anymore. The original comic book was alright, but this adaptation was fairly lack luster from the start.

Yeah Lyta was also Fury! Also regarding the Wonder Woman thing, The character of Lyta retconned like 2 years before the sandman comics came out because of Crisis of infinite Earth so she went from being the daughter of Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor to Helena Kosmatos

so they merged the furies (kindly ones) and fates? they are not the same entities in usual greek stories (or even mythology) i didnt know this was the case till this ep

they been calling them the fates and the furies since season one. they never stopped using both terms in every episode they are mentioned. they also merged them with the graeae. they are called the furies, the fates, and the grey ones. its the old mythology rule of aspects. instead of making them 3 different groups, he made them all three and the names are just different aspects. like zeus is jupiter and aphrodite is venus and ishtar is inyanna. even the story loki told about demeter is something isis did as well. lots of cross over if you look into history. it depends on WHO is telling the myth, cause some will say x, others will say y, and another would say x and y. its like how people often leave out that athena is also a god of war and focus solely on her being the goddess of wisdom. different storytellers will cherry pick what works for them and their narrative

she is not in the right mind to listen to reason. she is in dispair and out of it, wracked with grief. loki himself could tell her "it was me" and she wouldnt care. no fury like a woman scored. she has a singular mission, eye on the prize, and nothing and no one will stop her. only after her grief has no control over her will she relinguish to reality. she is in madness which is a side effect of the furies. ive dealt with this personally. dude i used to live for insinuated i was doing something criminal simply because i left the house at 530 to catch the 6am bus. "the bus doesnt come to six so you are lying. you didnt go catch the bus"...dude i cant LEAVE the house at 6. its not like the bus will be waiting for me lol. i even tried to show him the bus schedule and he refused to look at the proof that he was wrong. thats humanity. when they choose to BELIEVE something firmly, you cant change their mind. same happened with a psychopath who refused to leave my house after i refused to have sex with him because now its a ghetto "let me tell you about yourself" moment instead of a "let me go home before he gets a gun or call the cops" moment. madness = all sense is gone, all that matters is how i feel and so i will act on that feeling because i FEEL it is right. ive seen this in court as well. "im innocent. they did xyz first" then the camera footage comes out and NOW they change their "not guilty" to "i want a deal".

he didnt get busted lol no jail time no conviction.............if you listened to the investigation (including interviews with the alledged victims) you would know there was a lot of blurred lines. at worse (if you are one of those people) you could say he was unethical for getting with fans and people who were younger then him. i dont believe in such things. long as you are legal, give consent, its a choice YOU made not one i FORCED upon you. one of these women he was in an open relationship with and he made it very clear (from her own words and mouth) that he was not going to leave his primary for her before they started and then she "fell in love" and wanted him to leave his wife for her and now because he wouldnt she frames the story as "i was a young fan. he took advantage of me. he shouldnt have gotten with a 24 year old who is fresh out of college. oh im soooooo innocent. and then he would go long times without responding to my messages and phone calls and yeah i had sex with him AND his wife but i mean, im younger so of course he would get tired of that old bitty and leave her for me. see how im a victim and he is so evil with all of his kinks i engaged in consentually in hopes that he would leave his wife for me aka make my fantasy a reality". but again, just like lyta, when you CHOOSE to believe something, the truth doesnt matter when you are a human. cant relate. #mutantandproud

you got that so wrong. what wiki you repeating lol. lyta is the daughter of wonder woman and steve trevor, hence her being named hippolyta after diana's mom. now, in her mini series that came out post crisis/post zero hour, they gave her a new origin since the whole multiverse no longer existed so to keep her around and explain the fury code name they tied her to the furies. been forever since i read that book so cant remember all the details but im sure its tisisphone. regardless, that was erased with the subsequent crisises which brought back the multiverse, and she is now back to being fury, dauther of earth 2 wonder woman. you can see this as early as 2012 in dc comics' earth 2 series.

that retcon was post crisis which is 80s not 2020s. as early as 2021 she was back as wonder woman's daughter in the current continuity. there is new 52 fury, daughter of wonder woman (2012) and then there is lyta of infinity inc, daughter of wonder woman. you can see this in justice society comics and infinite frontier, dated may of 2021. they just didnt have access to dc proper characters for this series. like how donna troy wasnt in the teen titans animated series. martian manhunter, superman, infinity inc and others should all be in this show based on the stories they have adapted but they cant.
