I don't think the silo water would be that cold especially tucked underground so deep and also if you remember the silo is powered by thermal energy from underground with steam so might be heat that rises up

19:40 Did y'all forget that they showed flashbacks of the rebellion in silo 17, where he was shown to be a kid? Him being a kid is not fake, his exact identity is what's fake. Also, it was judicial that tried to flood out mechanical, they were trying to stop the rebellion by flooding them, but then they couldn't repair the pump back in time afterwards.

I think it would still be so cold, there’s no light, the ground is cold around the silo, and there’s barely any energy being produced most of the silo is effectively “off”

I think earlier in the season Sheera speculated that he was a kid when the rebellion happened. I think they already figured it out tho especially in the episode with the classroom

Yeah he’s scared and just trying to survive and save his Silo. And Silo has been very helpful this whole season, I personally never felt any ill-intentions from him the whole time.

the thing you guys were missing about why Sims wouldn't just kill Bernard is that he didn't have the code to access the vault nor legacy privileges. he would essentially have doomed the silo in doing that. Unless the algorithm/watchers wanted him to know it. and he had no idea of their existence at that time. not until the end of the season. all he knew was Bernard had the keyfob that would light up. Nothing really beyond that.
