Like if you've watched up to season 1 episode 5, and you're about to watch episode 6. You put season 1 episode 5 and it will show you a connection tree between the people with only information you have learned so far. with no spoiler. So if you ever need a refresher use it. This show is complicated but worth it! My top 3 shows of all time.

One of the reasons this show got its break through was the fact that it was very similar to Stranger Things season 1 but without the action, in fact it was probably the reason it went on to get 3 seasons since people would tune in to this one to scratch the same itch that early Stranger Things had after every season but sadly the show creator second project 1899 didn't have the benefit of so it got cancelled but at least this one got a proper conclusion

Time travel shit cooks me depending on whether it's closed or open loop (or tbh, either one) because assuming Mikkel doesn't die sometime before present day OR find a way back to his original timeline later in this show, he could just have lived for 30+ years and straight up be one of the adults...while also eventually being born in the late 2000s...I'm getting a headache lmfao I'm done. He's not immediately voicing his concerns like "What? My dads name is Ulrich, my moms name is Katharina, and I live here with you, and all these vehicles are old..". The reason that's understandable is because he is so fond of magic. He probably figures there's a reasonable explanation, he's just blind to it like Ulrich was when shown the cup magic at breakfast. Btw I'm really impressed that you weren't completely lost. With the way the show is structured I hardly remember anything from the first ep since it's been a week. Although I've watched the show before so it might be that my memory is jumbled from that. Mixing together future episodes with these first couple. Nah but please do understand that a lot will become more apparent as time goes on. You aren't supposed to understand nothing much quite yet. In a fair few of scenes reveals are done with just a face shot or something similar rather than full blown dialogue. So it's impressive anyways with you keeping track even still with it only having been two episodes. Like remembering that there was a couch outside the cave in the current times/first episode. Or not mixing together Hanna with Katharina: the woman Ulrich is having an affair with as well as Jonas' mom, and Ulrichs wife that is the mother of Magnus, Martha and Mikkel. Of course they look and act way different, still though.
