Jamaal Ellison

this and the last episode were the hardest to sit through.

Jason Marbach

I’m just now starting the two reacts for today, but I already know y’all’s reaction to the punch isn’t gonna disappoint 🤣

Carlos

That punch was diabolical. Lmao

DatKid_Kaneki

why? i lowk kept falling asleep this episode for some reason lmao

Rcola25 Jr

This is an interesting show. I Wonder where it’s going. Lol 😂

Jamaal Ellison

When evaluating productions of this nature, particularly those bearing the Marvel insignia, there are inherent expectations regarding the portrayal of action and combat sequences. The depiction of physical altercations is a fundamental requirement. A narrative exploring a character who balances a daytime acting career with nighttime superheroics presents a compelling premise. This is, of course, my personal perspective and not necessarily a definitive truth.

PJ Rivera

I wonder how they’ll weave in wonderman in the broader mcu

Makayla

Trevor lowkey look like an untrustworthy thumb..

Jim Crow

So ep 7&8 tmrw😂?

Paul Pereda

5lime

The Boys inspired punch shook the shyt outta me😭😭😭

XORA NICO

I was locked in when he said “Why did you make me get all dressed up?” As soon as I heard “that guy Stuckey”, I said “awww damn……noooo”. I’ve seen Pretty Woman way too many times 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Kris Barnes

Man when I binged this I was fine, but rewatching with y’all I was getting mad emotional for the last like ten minutes. This show is so good

Rcola25 Jr

Exactly! He gets it… lol

Bobby Johnson

Don’t want to ruin the yalls schedule but if u got them recorded id love the last 2 episodes!

Mxri

Since you brought up Superman... Are we getting that? Or did we and I missed it?

Devin B

Simon and Trevor are a top tier MCU duo

JoZé

i love that scene on the balcony. there’s real pain in thinking a certain something defines you and you feel the need to isolate yourself. shit makes me tear up 😢

Jamaal Ellison

The reaction to that punch was worth the price of admission.😂

Jamaal Ellison

Nah i must have watched this with my eyes closed.

Domehead

This was never marketed to be a traditional superhero show with physical altercations to begin with. This show is extremely short and I think it’s very fun when going in with an opened mind. I don’t want to accuse you of having a short attention span off the rip but like 30 minute episodes feels like 10 minutes to me lol. If these were hour long episodes I could understand where you’re coming from.

Jamaal Ellison

I wouldn't be insulted. I was kind of squirming the entire time watching, and it was hard to hold my attention, especially with these episodes in particular. I'm enjoying the show much more now that I know what to expect. I think I had expectations of what I thought it was going to be, alongside the fact that Disney rarely ever does second seasons of Marvel shows, so it's hard to get invested in something when you know you'll probably never see this character again. Disney Plus has kind of worn me down to losing all interest. I'm still waiting for a Hawkeye season 2, a Ms. Marvel season 2, a Moon Knight season 2, and a few other shows.

Clinton the Bingethinker

17:43 I think that, it’s not that he doesn’t know how to be original, it’s that he’s already in an anxious head space and perhaps he thinks whatever he comes up with, all the choices he could make, won’t be enough, it won’t move the director. So instead he tries to compensate by copying a romantic scene conceived from someone else’s mind. By doing so, he ensures that it won’t go as well as it could’ve. Self-sabotage at its finest (also imposter syndrome). I still struggle with my own self-sabotaging tendencies as an actor—they’ve prevented me from doing as well as I could’ve on more than a few past auditions. It’s another reason why I appreciate this show, because it illustrates those sorts of relatable struggles actors face.

Lupa said falling asleep is even worse than Simon pulling a Homelander on that guy's skull. No way lmaoo

Chester Chong

They watched that in theatre and have said they not reacting to it again

Corey Leach

Wonderman is part of the west coast avengers in the comics. There's a theory going around that the avengers team might get introduced in the mcu with Wonderman being a part of it

Corey Leach

Trev got the craziest story as a character in the mcu. Boy got ties to Iron Man, Shang-Chi, and now Wonderman 😭😭

SavvyAlloy

@vaygatti Are you saying it showed Wonder Man on Wednesday? It wasn’t on there on the schedule. We were only getting 5 Wonder Man episodes this week. 1 on Monday and 2 on Tuesday and Thursday

Zanni

I love how genuinely happy for them we all were when they got the part😭 They really managed to make you feel the emotions. That tension and release from Simon. "I just need a break man".

soniq

they watched it in the cinema

Norman kay10

I loved this episode the scenes where deep

A. P.

They've shown us throughout the series so far that Simon has an encyclopedic memory and a very keen eye for details. Simon is a rigid pessimist, Trevor is an adaptable optimist. A lot of times, especially when it comes to being artistic, our gifts can become crutches and therefore curses, but it's cool to see these two characters begin to balance each other out.

ViralCorgi

He didn't just choose "a movie", his dull behind chose one the most popular rom-com films of the 90s like these folks weren't going to catch on 🙃 It's literally starring Julia freaking Roberts. And that scene was actually VERY popular -- I dont even watch movies like that and I recognized it immediately. It was like the 90s equivalent of quoting Mean Girls or Devil Wears Prada 😭🤣🤣

Asher Ealey

Bro this episode was so good because the second hand embarrassment I felt throughout the whole audition was at an all time high. But then it made the Trev and Simon interaction on the balcony hit so much harder. Then seeing them get the part was such a great pay off.

Miche

Same...when the prostitute line came up I knew instantly. This show is amazing

Dyastro123

For me it was the "cheap" and the "car" Then it finally clicked with the "hooker"

girlygirl9983

28:22 i remember this actor from 2012 (2012) apocalyptic movie his voice is pretty memorable

Sam

This episode was hard for me to get through. Not because it was bad but because of the second hand embarrassment.

Sam

I think he meant worse than throwing the directors plates around while ripping off a scene from another movie.

Sam

How do I like Trevor so much? Simon and him are so good together, I hope they keep this friendship going, it's going to be tough after the shoe drops

Quis

“Engine ……. Start.” “Good …… Very good.” 😂

rayman

man this episode is so good, prob the best of the season. This show in general is great and I’m enjoying it even more the second time

Raider

20:57 “That’s gold, Jerry! Gold!” 😂

HIM

The reason for the WHOLE/ENITRE MCU Disney Plus Tv shows was ALWAYS to supplement these exact stories that may or may not be box office flops. They can make more money off a decent to good mini-series with subscriptions that it makes sense. A MOVIE would be a hit or miss, and typically, the misses really hurt their bottom line. SO... They basically KNEW it wasn't going to "hit" in a 2+ hour movie, simply because of the pacing. It's roughly 4 hours of content. Was Snyder Cut even that long? LGS, I've always liked the concept of the marvel shows. {HUGE MCU SPOILER! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!} I fully expect Wonder Man to replace Molecule Man in the Secret Wars films! Black man saves the day yall!

Asher Ealey

Simon made me feel like that is how it would look like when an actor plans to method act. Then is told that they gotta perform right away😂

GojosHoho

I thought he murdered that man 😭😭 and they made sure to hold in that scene for a while so you could doubt whether or not it was actually a hallucination 😞 that was so fucked because how much anxiety and pent up energy he has I believe this is possible sort of.... maybe.... I don't know 😭😭😭😓 I want to believe in him but he needs to start meditating or something 😭

J Man

What's actually kinda fun was Yaya recreated that scene from Little Woman, but I didn't catch an inkling that he was doing it. I watched little woman as a little kid with my mom several times and definitely knew that scene with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. Yaya definitely altered it enough to not make it match Julia's redress and exit scene!

Alvin Ng'ang'a

😂😂😂 same thing I remember every time I see him.

CJ Dennis

*Pretty Woman 🤣🤣.
