Alejandro Pupo

The person from Heracle's flashback was Jason, leader of the Argonauts in Greek Myth. Gilgamesh's story is from ancient Mesopotamia, WAY before Heracle's time LOL

Anzor Wilson

No that was not Gilgamesh in the flashback. That was the captain of the Argo, Jason the GOAT. He was also Medea (Caster from Fate/Stay Nights) husband, and also died at her hands because he cheated on her.

W Wang

The person Alceides was seeing before wasn't gilgamesh, people in Fate just look similar due to a lot of same face syndrome. That was Jason, the captain of the ship the Argo and the Argonauts, a character from greek mythology. Gilgamesh was in fact, an archer in every anime version you guys have seen him in. However, he's still just "fake archer" here, and his friend Enkidu is "fake lancer". Also, Saber, the blonde haired girl who's king arthor, or Artoria Pendragon(her name in the fate series), is not always saber, she has multiple variations including Lancer, Archer, Caster, and some more, but those only appear in a seperate story that isn't relavent here, as Artoria doesn't make any meaningful appearances as of now.

Nate

16:57 we already saw fake berserker, flat summoned jack the ripper way back in ep 0

Lil Pan

Someone should make a doc with info that they need and send it to them lol. Obviously the show isn’t too hard to follow but it seems like they don’t remember much from episode 0 and would sometimes miss some stuff.

Kalf97

love that they cared more about berserker than the literal goddess that was summoned XD

Archer

Gilgamesh and Hercules/Alcides are from two entirely different eras/myths. They fought each other in episode 4 with Alcides clearly trying to kill him so it would make no sense for him to now defend him and call him his friend when Alcides hates Gods 😭😭 The Blonde dude on the ship is Jason, the leader of the Argonauts and captain of the Argo in Greek myth, if they ever adapt the Fate/Grand Order Lostbelt arc you might get to see how goated he is one day. Also they already mentioned it but the 'Fake' designation doesn't mean that the servants are a completely different class to what they were summoned as, it just refers to the 6 servants that were used as primers/catalysts to start the True Holy Grail War which has the usual 7 servants that we've seen get summoned in Episode 4 and onward. To explain a mage's bounded field succinctly just look at them as similar to simple domains in JJK where its usage will deploy a special effect or negate one to help in battle while Noble Phantasms are the ultimate attacks of servants, basically domain expansions in JJK. Here are all the servants so far: Fake Archer: Gilgamesh Fake Lancer: Enkidu (green haired servant, Gilgamesh's best friend) Fake Rider: Mr. Black Fake Assassin: Cloaked Girl (The Vampire's servant) Fake Caster: Author dude (Police Chief's servant) Fake Berserker Jack the Ripper (Flat's servant shown in Ep 0) True Saber: Richard True Archer: Alcides (corrupted by mud during summon making him an Avenger/Archer hybrid) True Lancer: Watcher (summoned by Sigma) True Rider: Hippolyta True Assassin: Faldeus' Servant True Caster: Francois Prelati True Berserker: Robot For your guys own sake just watch a recap of Episode 0 or rewatch your own reaction to it because a lot of the confusion would be cleared up for you, especially when it comes to forgetting a lot of the characters you've already seen, it'll just make the immersion/experience better since you watched Episode 0 over two years ago.

Stephen D

Not every blonde guy is Gilgamesh. That was Jason captain of the argo.

Lil Pan

You should compile all the best explanations in the comments and send it to them so it might clear some things up next time 🙏

Anzor Wilson

Unfortunately you have not seen the other series. Yes our Saber, or I should say the Saber that you know as King Arthur, she appears in all other sorts of classes as well.

Jin Shim

Fake Servants are just called Fake Archer, Fake Caster etc. no reduction in strength, only a title. Fake Archer is Gilgamesh, True Archer is Alcides/Heracles/Hercules. Fake Berserker is Jack the Ripper, and True Berserker is Knightmare Gear Gundam Seed over there. There is only True Saber since the FAKE category does not have a Saber.

baja

Because a lot of the heroes could be considered gods This shit came out of nowhere. I wonder if its fron the future

Deep

Fyi you've only ever seen king arthur or artoria from fate zero and ubw as saber she can be summoned as other classes lol

JustThatOtherDude

Fake Berserker is Jack the Ripper The robit is Real Berserker

Oxalic Acid

Not Gilgamesh, Jason from the Argonauts.

JustThatOtherDude

King Arthur is always Saber because both her appearances in Zero and Stay Night is that still her instance You can split the hero from the class There are Caster King Arthurs and Avengers in the gacha pool

Dolfy

Fake Berserker is Jack the Ripper. Robot bro is real berserker. Also, to know what that is you have to watch some other Fate shows. They going in on the cross overs.

Vlad

So Lupa isn’t confused no Chaplin is not his servant

Isaac

That was Jason of the Argonauts. He ran a crew that Hercules was a part of. He's also the husband of Madea ( the Caster from UBW ) but he was awful to her, mainly because he never liked her. She was spellbound to be inlove with him and be obsessed with him. He reluctantly married her and ended up cheating on her which caused her to crash out and murder him.

Fernando Perez

The blonde man in Alcides’s flashback was Jason, captain of the Argo and the Argonauts. Gilgamesh is from a few thousand years before Hercules lol. The robot is True Berserker. Fake Berserker is Flat’s servant, Jack the Ripper What Cordelion (dude that looks like Wesker) deployed was not a Noble Phantasm. Only Servants have those. He deployed what’s called a Bounded Field. It’s basically a type of magic that places some kind of effect on a wide area. From how it was described, this one turns the building into a deadly labyrinth. Bounded Fields are not to be confused with Reality Marbles (Like Shirou’s Unlimited Blade Works). Those directly impose the user’s inner reality onto the world, creating basically a pocket dimension.

Ethan Liu

Just for clarity, all 6 Fake Servants were summoned first (as a catalyst for the True Servants), and we're introduced to them in Episode 0 (Gil, Enkidu, Mr. Black, Police captain's talkative Caster, Jack the Ripper, Female Assassin). The True Servants have been trickling in throughout the last few episodes and now we're being introduced to the final summon, which is the robot.

Dolfy

Robo did get summoned and killed her off asap. The self sacrifice magecraft was just the other girl being a bit sarcastic because of what the summoner girl was saying in her dying breaths

Quinn Balsam

Im thinking that the real berserker might be Pinocchio, which I know is a stretch, but I can't think of it in any other way than "puppet" for some reason. Especially with fates liberal design choices with some of their spirits lmfao

Stephen D

Imagine falling through the earth moments after getting shot. This girl is having a rough night.

Planksir

Here's my breakdown in nutshell (I think): True Saber: Richard the Lionheart True Archer: Heracles/Alcides True Lancer: Sigma (I'm guessing he'll become the lancer as told by the watcher) Watcher: All the shadows of historical people True Rider: Hippolyta True caster: François Prelati (Master is his future-self) True Assassin: The masked dude that talks through notes (Faldeus summoned in a room full of puppets) True Berserker: The Metal Gear robot Fake Archer: Gilgamesh Fake Lancer: Enkidu (Green hair guy who is Gilgamesh's homie) Fake Rider: Black Shadow Entity (According to episode 0, he is opposite/natural enemies of Enkidu, so that means he may be death/the plague as we keep seeing sick animals and people) Fake Caster: The dude is always on the phone with the police chief Fake Assassin: The girl assassin (who hates her master the vampire) Fake berserker: Jack the ripper (who Flat summoned and has take the form of a watch)

Lash

Gilgamesh isn’t Greek so it wouldn’t be him

Vlad

Ok with this we got True Berserker, all the servants here is the breakdown 1.True berserker 2. True Archer Hercules but now is an Extra class -Avenger 3. True Saber And the only saber in this war Richard 4. True Assasin-??? 5. True Caster Prelati 6. Extra class Watcher 7. True Rider Hippoylta FAKE SERVANTS 1. Jack the Ripper - Berserker 2. Gilgamesh- Archer 3.???- Fake Caster 4. Mr. Black- Rider 5. ???- Assassin 6. Enkidu- Lancer

Isaac

Yeah. The only reason Artoria was successfully summoned as a Saber both those times was because they used her scabbard to ensure they summon her as that. If they used some remnant of Rhongomyniad, she'd be a Lancer. If they used a remnant of Caliburn she'd probably be summoned as her Lily form exclusively since Caliburn was the actual sword stuck in the rock.

Lash

All the servants were getting introduced to now are the real ones. The fake servants were already introduced in episode 0

Sneaky Pilot

True berserker is the robot, fake berserker is jack the ripper

13

The mech is true berserker. Fake and true are just which wars they're summoned under. all the fakes were summoned first, and all the true servants were summoned afterwards. True and fake servants have nothing to do with their "intended" classes Blond guy in Wesker's dream is not Gilgamesh.

Kris Barnes

That’s not Gilgamesh. That’s Jason of “Jason and the Argonauts”. He’s another hero from Greek mythology and he had a bunch of other heroes working under him as oarsmen on his boat. The boat was named “the Argo” as they said here hence “the Argonauts”. Hercules was an Argonaut at one point which is what they’re talking about here

Isaac

I posted it as a reply but will make it, its own comment here. Artoria ( King Arthur ) was a Saber both those times because the Catalyst to summon her was her scabbard that housed Excalibur. That guaranteed her to be summoned and for her to ne exclusively a Saber class. She could also be summoned as a Lancer, if Cu wasnt summoned yet to occupy that class. She can be a Lancer if the Catalyst for her summoning was a remnant of Rhongomyniad ( pronounced run-go-mini-add ) which is a legendary lance not many people know about that King Arthur had. Hell, I didnt know about Rhongomyniad until Fate taught that.

Tom

Mr. Black is fake rider. Fake berserker is jack the ripper. All 6 fake servants have been summoned in episode 0. Artoria (Saber) can be lancer, rider... etc. The guy on the ship is Jason.

Archer

I'm making a separate comment for this but PLEASE just watch a small few minute recap of Episode 0 or skim through your own reaction to it because it would clear up a lot of the confusion and just improve your experience/immersion, you watched it over two years ago so it makes sense you've forgotten a lot of it

sip

that was jason, and he hasn't really appeared in any fate you have watched, i think. He is an important character in FGO (The gacha game) arcs that have not been animated , which is why he is decently popular

sip

and probably why this scene made the cut at all out of the mountain of stuff that didn't from the novel lmao

Sneaky Pilot

Artoria (Saber from Fate stay night) can be other classes like in the FGO game. There are Rider, Archer, Lancer and other versions of her

Keondodge

My god you lot are killin me here. Like somethings I can excuse (Maybe excuse who golden hair was from hercs past) but even then if he was gil it would have been said by either gil or herc. Or just by looking a quick history of them. 1. As for the fake servants. No It doesn't dictate the class. (Something like taking a slot and being forced in another class is possible) This has happened before as well (fate/samurai remnant had more than double the servant amount but most of them didnt have any masters). There was another one I heard about thats a team deathmatch type but thats based on memory. 2. since a servant is based on history anything they have done or is known for is a possible class assignment. Herc being an archer would make sense just by looking at his Stymphalian labor alone. Why a berserker but not a saber? Idk honestly. 3. I Dont want to use an example yalls havent seen before (Or maybe im forgetting) but, the literal dark knight from fate/zero clearly looked like someone who uses a sword especially if they knew saber. But is a berserker because of something in their history. 4. If fate/stay nights archer/emiya can be summoned so can that iron giant. These were the things that stuck with me after the reaction. Im sure the others can make a better essay than me with better knowledge.

Lash

Also to sherras point servants can be summoned in multiple categories, it all just depends on who they were in their stories. Hercules is seen as the greatest hero who masters multiple weapons which is why he can be summoned into multiple class types. The fake servants aren’t fake because they don’t match the class they’re in. They’re fake because they were summoned for the fake war, while the true( not real bc all of them are real) servants were summoned for the real war.

Keondodge

Ngl they at Ep 7 it would be better to leave an essay than to keep telling them to watch a vid.

Rachel Gwinn

bro I cant wait for them to reveal who the mech is

Kris Barnes

Halri has real Berserker. Fake Berserker is Jack the Ripper and Flat is his Master. Everyone who Francesca got to participate (Sigma, Halri, Bazdilot) has a real Servant. Francesca herself, Faldeus, and Ayaka also have real Servants. Flat, the dog, the girl in the hospital, the vampire, the police guy, and Tine Chelc have fake Servants. Currently we have all 13 Servants accounted for but have only seen 12 Masters. Hippolyta’s, real Rider, Master is still unaccounted for

Quinn Balsam

This show is legit the clappening in the comments lmfao

earthphoenix7068

A Bioshock reference in the big 26 yeahhh Roshi???

Michael Kaiser

Man I really hope we get a season 2 for this

PhaedrusRumple

Half of what Sheera said at the end is wrong. For starters, Robot Bezerker is the real one. Jack the Ripper is the fake one

Kris Barnes

Lol sorry for spamming but yeah I don’t remember if they explained this or if it’s just lore, but a given heroic spirit can be in multiple classes depending on the era of their life you’re summoning them from. Plus also probably the nature of the heroic spirit’s exploits. Hercules could be an Archer and a Berserker just because there’s different stories of him that could fit both buckets.

Victor

Up to this episode, we basically see all the servants and their masters. 1. Saber King Richard I, the Lionheart Master: Ayaka (the blond girl with glasses) Due to the nature of this war, this is the one and only Saber, which makes 13 servants in total. 2. Archer 2.1. Gilgamesh, King of Heroes (nothing to say here, dude pops up and aura farm in every hgw) Master: Tiné Chelc 2.2. Alcides Originally just Hercules/Heracles, but his master used all 3 command spells to blackening him with Holy Grail Mud, he calls himself Alcides, his old human name, because he hates the god for what they did to him Master: Bazdilot Cordelion 3. Lancer 3.1. Enkidu One of the strongest servants this ground, the one that Gilgamesh acknowlege as old friend. Master: the silver wolf (techinically a chimera) 3.2. Sigma Probably the most unfornate guy this round. Imagine summoning a servant, but then they say you would become a Lancer yourself. F that. Master: well, Sigma himself, I guess 4. Berserker 4.1. Jack the Ripper Yeah, I understand the confusion, but this guy has been introduced as a Berserker in episode 0. Master: Flat Escados (Waver's disciple) 4.2. The mech in this episode Dude received an order and wasted no time to whack people violently. Typical Berserker behavior. Master: Halri 5. Caster 5.1. Alexandre Dumas (the author of Monte Cristo) Before anyone jumps me, no, this is not a spoiler, he revealed his name in episode 0. Master: Orlando Reeve (the police chief) 5.2. Francois Prelati The one who summoned himself. Survive up to now thanks to body swapping. Master: Francesca Prelati (just themselves, the name changes because they are in a female body) 6. Assasin 6.1. The girl in black veil (I dont remember if her name has been revealed yet) Typical assasin, this time not with a mask. Master: Jester Karture (a vampire, but in this world they are called dead apostle) 6.2. Unknown assasin Typical assasin, with a mask. 😮‍💨 Sick of these guys. Master: Faldeus 7. Rider 7.1. Hippolyta, Queen of Amazons Master: unknown 7.2. "Mr. Black" Now this is also not a spoiler. Assasin called it a "calvaryman", and by process of elimination, this servant can only be a Rider. Master: Tsubaki (the girl who is in a coma) Fun fact: this is basically the end of the manga content, so from this point on, only light novel readers know what would happen next.

jaiden k

Definitely need a Ep.0 refresher. I think yall get so caught up trying to figure out one thing that you end up missing multiple others. The confusion makes these reactions gold though😂

Victor

Actually we did, multiple times. But we keep figuring out things that they forgot every episode. In a sense, we are just as surprised as them lol.

Victor

Technically they did see her Alter Ego class in the HF movies, but I guess her class name wasn't emphasized in those.

$am

I suggest you watch a recap of episode 0, most of your confusion comes from not remembering that episode.

Kalf97

except they were specifically called demigods, with francesca saying the grail does not summon the gods Xd

DatKid_Kaneki

lupa why the hell would gilgamesh im pretty sure from indian culture be linked up w hercules😭😭

The Dude

I guarantee nobody will know who it is lol

Green Camero

bro my brain will forever be cooked

ABY5E

the servants in summon before the true grail war still same servants class that was listed in early ep 0 but it just categlorized fake archer that is gil and true archer that is alcides due to holy grail went from being the fake and reaching to point of becoming a real one

WillGlacier

A weapon to surpass metal gear . . .

DocGreen

The LN actually ends this year so hopefully they announce a season 2

WillGlacier

yeah technically he could be 3 since there were 3 Heracles "cults" (that's what they were called back in the day btw) back in the day. The first worshipping Heracles as the one who completes the trials of the gods, The second worshipping him as the soldier fighting during the trojan war and third worshipping him as a father (some Vinland saga shit where "true strength is protecting your family"- type shit, Fuck with that iteration the most)

DocGreen

Any servent can be technically summoned in any class depending on the period of their life and if a timeline exists if they were that class. These are technically all real servants but the first 6 are the US government planned ones. Actual fake servents are people like assassin from unlimited blade works who were summoned by caster but in reality would've been a saber if it was a proper summoning

SonOfMan

Dont let the True and Fake designation confuse you. Its just to distinguish them. Gilgamesh is still fully qualified for the Archer class, he's just Fake Archer in this war because True Archer is Alcides. Remember that servants cant reveal their true name so Fake Archer is just a code name or desigmation

Jamarion Rich

Yall gilgamesh is a an ancient sumerian hero, literally the beginning of civilization, the first hero. Hercules comes much much later. So no Hercules did not serve gilgamesh in anyway.

P. A.

- About the vision mafia man was talking about, the dude looking like Gilgamesh was actually Jason, the captain of the Argonauts. - Take note the homunculus made appearence in ep 2, aswell in episode 1 in ayaka's memories for few seconds. So somehow they're related. - Sheera is making a confusion, the metal gear is true berserker. Fake berserker is Jack the Ripper, summoned by Flat. All the first 6 heroes that were summoned were the fake ones, used as primers to summon the other 7 true heroes (except Saber, he is special case since the "fake" war where the 6 fake heroic spirits were summoned didn't have a fake saber summoned). The metal gear will be hopefully explained why it looks like this. If not ppl will fill in.

Peds

The blonde guy on the boat is not Gilgamesh, it's Jason, from Jason and the Argonauts, they mention the boat Argos. Heracles was part of the Argos crew during the first leg of its journey

Coatl45

Gil is Sumerian, which later became Persia.

Zeke

lmao Just an fyi, Gilgamesh is from mesopotamian culture

Coatl45

Watcher is Sigma’s servant, and takes the place of the True Lancer. Masters can’t become servants like what you’re implying. Instead, Watcher’s shadows were saying that Sigma is destined to become a Lancer and have his name carved into the Throne of Heroes, which I take is something that often happens in these wars, where masters either make names for themselves during the war, or after the war.

Patrone07

Lupa frfr just be looking his next joke 🤣 mans do not be locked in at all

Victor

Oh I understand that part, but that's just technicality and doesnt change the fact that Sigma would be in the most disadvantageous position this war had he not form an alliance with other masters, and he will still have it rough now.

Anzor Wilson

No sir. She was in fact still a Saber class not an alter ego. That's why we just call her Saber Alter. Alter Egos cannot be summoned in a normal Holy Grail War, and if for some reason one is summoned you can bet you ass a Ruler is going to intervene.

DatKid_Kaneki

i only know the “master of animals” version of him ian even know tjat

Slim

Sheera that that metal gear/Regigigas is the real berserker that got summoned because of saber being in the war and Jack the Ripper is the fake one for the fake holy grail war

BabyFoodChewer

He only does that if its a show he doesnt care about

ShaquanVirse

Any servent can be technically summoned in any class depending on the period of their life and if a timeline exists if they were that class. These are technically all real servants but the first 6 are the US government planned ones. Actual fake servents are people like assassin from unlimited blade works who were summoned by caster but in reality would've been a saber if it was a proper summoning

Co

You just noticed that? Look at the last JJK reaction. Bro missed major plot points. Both Sheera and Lupa take their eyes off the screen pretty often, but Lupa is worse. I've gotten used to it, but don't expect bro to remember anything from previous episodes. He mostly makes jokes and tries to get the other members to look at him and laugh. But Roshi is always there to fill him in on what he missed.

P. A.

I think what's confusing the trio about this fake/true servants is something fundamental and hopefully they see this as it will make it easier for them. Back in Japan we had the holy grail wars that took place in Fuyuki. This holy grail is not like a physical cup, but more like a huge ritual that was researched and perfected by the 3 houses (einzsbern, matou and tohsaka - we've seen them in heaven's feel the 3 founders in a flashback). It taps into they leylines of Fuyuki, is connected by the Greater Grail. the GG is an underground system created by the 3 families - if u remember HF flashback, u'll remember how the einzsbern chick got smashed into a pool of blood to power the ritual while the other 2 were witnessing it. Zelretch, the old dude that also appeared in episode 0 was the one who completed the ritual at the time with his special dagger (the dagger that shirou created in HF in order for Rin to fight Sakura). The holy grail system is connected to the throne of heroes which is the "archive" of where the legends and myths of heroes is stored and from which the holy grail summons the servants. What the american organizations (mage association of america, factions of US and snowfield officials) tried to do is to create their own holy grail system by trying to copy the Fuyuki system. It's basically like pirated games irl (games, movies etc). Because they pirated the system, its basically filled with bugs, irregulations, class identification problems etc. That's why u have Jack the Ripper for example appearing as berserker, or have Jester being able to participate even though he is a DEAD apostle (the priest wasn't babbling about jester being able to participate for nothing). There's also the weird problem that the americans didn't understand the saber class for some reason. Because of that, there's no "fake" saber participating. Because of these irregularities, the holy grail system and the world itself (rabbit hole i wont dive in, just go with it) noticed these irregularities and tried to correct it. THIS WAS AND WASN'T anticipated by the organizers (francesca, faldeus, police chief). They knew anomalies would appear but not to what extent. So they came with contingencies. One of them is preparing the masters to summon "true" servants. And it worked. This is why Francesca as opposed to the other 2 is always pogging around, because this whole system is a chaotic mess and she loves it. Always wondering what person X is gonna summon and what not. And because this whole shit is a mess, ppl theorize that Watcher was summoned to keep an eye on the irregularities of the holy grail war. That's why he can completely check on every master and servant as it was shown in the episode he was summoned by Sigma. It's kind of a cheat code that a servant can do this, but the grail had to do it in order to "keep an eye on wtf is going on". With all that said, just because servants are true or fake, it doesn't matter. It's just a label, they still function at full capacity, nothing alters their memories and what not (except class designation like Jack, or the heroic spirit summoned by Tsubaki). If anything, the most irregular heroic spirit is Alcides because the holy grail mud turned him into Avenger. Edit: Forgot to mention, in fate zero/ stay night we always had one designated homunculus from einzsbern to become the vessel for the grail, by which i mean with each servant dying, their essence or w/e is being sucked by the vessel. With each heroic spirit dead, the homunculus slowly loses its functions and manifest into the grail at the end as was portrayed with Irisviel in Fate Zero. Without the vessel (homunculus) i guess the grail can't physically manifest. I can only assume Philia is meant to fulfill that role in FSF, but she got possessed by a goddess (as she mentioned the vessel was pretty empty). So, fuckery is afoot. As a reminder of all the heroic spirits summoned by label: Fake Archer - Gilgamesh - summoned by Tine Fake Lancer - CC - summoned by Doggy Fake Rider - Mr. Black - summoned by comatose Tsubaki (will be explained later why she talks normally with Mr. Black) Fake Assassin - Undisclosed assassin chick - summoned by Vampire Jester Fake Caster - Undisclosed checker teeth man - summoned by police chief (one of the ring leaders organizing the grail war) Fake Berserker - Jack the Ripper - summoned by Flat True Archer - Alcides - summoned by blond mafia dude True Saber - Richard Lionheart - summoned by Ayaka True Assassin - Skull Mask dude - summoned by Faldeus (one of the ring leaders organizing the grail war) True Caster - Francois Prelati - summoned by the real and alive Prelati (Francesca Prelati) True Lancer / Watcher - Whale boy with spear in his mouth - summoned by Sigma True Berserker - Metal Gear - summoned by Halri True Rider - Hypolita - summoner undisclosed Hopefully the trio sees this and gives them a better understanding of this mess lol.

Jigga Man

bro she summoned Regirock lmaooo

Coatl45

Yeah, Lancers always have it the roughest. That’s why they’ve got the reputation that they do. But at least Watcher is an excellent observation type and advisor. Sigma would’ve definitely been blindsided by Faldeus’ betrayal if Watcher hadn’t warned him.

DJ Muldrow

Nigga why do I hear askeladd? 💀

lackingnames

Completely random aside, but I wanna point out that pirated games/software have no such issues and are almost always completely the same as the paid versions (because they are literally the paid versions without paying for them). So not the most perfect analogy.

lackingnames

The timeline fuckery is really only a FGO thing because that summoning system is different. Generally not EVERY servant can be EVERY class. Most servants can fit a couple categories though, while a few can fit every.

lackingnames

Expecting american youtubers to know anything about mythology or history is foolishness.

lackingnames

Mfs think Gilgamesh was greek, there aint gonna be any reaction to whoever that mech is.

lackingnames

@Isaac Not exactly. King Arthur's "default" class is still Saber. That is because in the Legend of King Arthur, (s)he is known primarily as the wielder of Excalibur, and that was her main weapon. It is possible to summon her as other classes, but if left up to chance she would be a Saber the majority of the time.

lackingnames

Crazy that someone knows about Alter Ego classes and yet doesn't know HF Artoria had literally nothing to do with the Alter Ego class.

Koji

Wesker Almight lol

DFrench125

A little history lesson into the Argo which was mentioned: It was captained by a man named Jason; one of the most popular tales is their hunt for the golden fleece (same one as percy jackson series).

P. A.

Guess i've been unlucky with chosen pirated games i've been playing when i was little 😆

Woah cool!

Alcides is not an Archer he's an Avenger class.

Rachel Gwinn

idk why people think he's Greek he's not he's a sumerian king and I wont be surprised they haven't show the mech before but ye I only know what it is cuz I've seen the manga

BZD

He did start out as an archer though. So it’s fine to call him that as a way to identify him.

BZD

That’s normally a unit covered in schools in America.

Polygon

That’s Jason lol. Argo was the name of the ship they were on

BZD

No they said they were going to make him the servant. With the shenanigans going on they very well could. And it’s not like masters being servants is unprecedented. In Oath Under Snow Masters could install servants into themselves and act as Servants.

chris

Mannn who you tellin? every conversation in this show they talk about something unheard of and im just here for the ride atp

Spriggz

Pretty sure the robot is real berserker and Jack the Ripper is fake berserker. The fake war started first, followed by the real war

Youssef Loubnan

my girl summoned the monster alien from war of the worlds

Fizzy 🐉

Why would Lupa think Gilgamesh would be on that boat there first encounter literally dismisses that Lupa lock in man 😭😭😭😭

Fizzy 🐉

I thought that was common knowledge 😭😭😭😭jeez these guys man are killing me

Fizzy 🐉

That just not true lol even with show he cares about he still misses major plot points he just be lost a times that just a factttt

Arsean Wilbon

Gil and Heracles would have never ran across each other in history also the Servants arent class bound, it just depends on at what point of the history you are trying to summon them from.

Arsean Wilbon

he is both. Avenger is his sub class.

Arsean Wilbon

bro just thought heracles was on the boat with Gilgamesh lmao, he be cooking himself

Arsean Wilbon

your comment is ignorant. Majority of the world doesn't know world history let alone their countries history.

Cjay

ignorant comment

DocGreen

Why wasn't a ruler class summoned considering all the irregularities like apochrepha

Tbdovan

Fate just putting our brains in a blender with how they animating this season

Cheshire

He took them to the sunken place at the end 😭

Denn B

Please watch fate grand order. its ankles broken every episode

Asher Ealey

I think the real vs fake stuff is confusing y'all, so here is a list of who is who. Fakes: Archer- Gilgamesh Berserker- Jack the Ripper Rider -The darkness guy. I assume is like the Angel of death or something. Saber - Non existent Lancer - C.C 😂 Caster - Dumas Assassin - The hooded girl allied with saber Real: Saber- Lionheart Archer - Alceides Berserker- Metal Gear Caster- White hair illusion lady Lancer - sigma’s summon Rider - Hippolyta Assassin - The masked guy who communicates with cards. If there is any of these that are wrong, please correct(without spoiling).

Severus Alaerth

Jokes aside, I keep forgetting that the "goddess" has a different VA when possessing a different body (which makes sense biologically I guess) so when she spoke at first I was like "Oh it's her! Wait, it is her but that voice is different" lol but hey we got best girl!!! PS: Please watch FGO someday, be it starting from the first anime (Babylonia) or the Camelot movies or whatever, we'll help with the order! (since anime release vs game release is the opposite for FGO singularities) I guess Apocrypha too lol

P. A.

The system being a carbon copy makes it an issue to summon ruler. It's incomplete/ corrupted etc. Plus i remember at start of the anime Francesca saying something like 'once the real holy war starts then ruler wont appear'. She prolly tampered the system so she never appears. Additionally, ruler is more like an overseer over the war itself between the servants and make sure they dont break the rules. What's happening to the system itself is not ruler's prime jurisdiction. Personally, i hope Jeanne appears down the line just to put an end to Francesca. Would be a nice 'fuck you' moment.

Jalen Holmes

you sound so stupid lol them being American makes no difference

Knight

Real Caster is White Hair illusion guy

Knight

And Sigma is being made into Real Lancer

Knight

I will add that mythology class in America is an optional class that people can take and it's possible for people to not remember something they learned from high school lol, thank you for your comment and letting them know about Jason

Jeff S

yo i just realized that blue hair guy was itadori's voice actor

Radoras

the "fake" & "true/real" servant distinction doesn't have anything to do with how they work, how strong they are or whatever - it's simply to distinguish which is meant since (different from usual) there are now 2 servants of each class except Saber "Fake" servants - summoned in the first ritual for the "fake" holy grail war with all the improvised/copied setup "true" servants - summoned in the second ritual (using the first servants as primers) for a "proper" Grail War Ritual

Asher Ealey

Like Sigma himself? Or just the servant he summoned

Ark the Birb

Damn, how have you guys never heard of Jason and the Argonauts? My class and I learn about them in Freshmen year of High School back then in Georgia. When we had to learn Mythology for Social Studies. Well to be fair, I don't know how the education is now in America, and Georgia is pretty disappointing. Edit: Or was it Pre-History.... It's been a while. Edit: Servants can more or less be any "CLASS" as long as it make sense in their "Legend/Myth/People Perspective" of them. For example Batman would be consider a Heroic Servant, but because peoples perspective of him and his legend, he would be consider an ASSASSIN( Since Batman would move around in the shadows), BUT Batman also used Batarang(Bat Boomerang) so he could also be a ARCHER, he also has tanked like a madman/fist brawl/has a bat mobile, and used a sword so he could also be a BERSERKER/RIDER/SABER. With that said, you can think of every servant like that. What else is part of their mythos/legend/people's perspective that hasn't been explored, can shape servants into different CLASSES. Like SABER obviously rode a horse before, so she could be a RIDER some day. Heracles has used multiple weapons, and has many skill set and legends so he could be any of the other CLASSES easily.

Tom Elias

To add to Sheera’s point with classes. Saber isnt always saber. Its been awhile since the crew watch Fate/Zero but berserker in Fate/Zero was one of Sabers knights. That knight couldve been Saber but due to other circumstances to that hero’s myth and how he was summoned he came to be Berserker. So the altered classes for the same hero isnt an indication if they are fake or real.

Dolfy

There's that much material!?? Lets go!

Silverhawk

Sigma himself is being made into Lancer

Asher Ealey

Ok cool. Thank you for clarifying that 🙏🏽

Acen Yang

Cuz yall not watching fate the right way but I don't blame yall, most of the context is in stuff that ain't even adapted lmfao😂

Green Camero

wow thats terrible lol. still entertaining tho

Dolfy

I appreciate Roshi tryin to stay focused though. I think there's a good balance of action episodes and more story heavy ones.

Xemnas27

Summoned a whole ass Gurren Lagann lmao wtf. I’m loving how creative this Fate installment is ngl and finally I caught up

Chimera134

The one that Halri summoned is the True Berserker. You guys are forgetting that the blonde kid summoned the fake berserker. The shape shifting watch that also became the nurse lady "Jack the Ripper". So the True Berserker is the giant robot guy, and Jack the Ripper is the fake berserker. Alcides is true archer, though they called him an "Avenger Class" instead, probably because of the Demon Mud infecting him and transforming him. Gilgamesh is the Fake Archer. Instead of True Lancer, Sigma got an Extra Class as the shadow guy called it, and so there is no True Lancer but instead "Watcher" is his. Fake Lancer is Enkidu, the nature woman- spirit- man - clay demon beast possessing a woman's body. And then there is one Saber, Richard Lionheart. As for the Riders. The true Rider is Hippolyta, and the fake one has to be the black circle smoke thing the little girl summoned. Fake Caster is the guy with gold teeth who the police chief is using to create tons of mass produced fake noble phantasm weapons/ strong magic weapons. True Caster is Francesca Prelati clone/ previous body as the two of them are a weird little duo. Fake Assassin is the ZABANIYA girl summoned by the death Apostle guy. And that only leaves True Assassin who is the not yet shown off person or thing that Faldeus summoned. The one that was in the little doll body and handed him the note "Are you my Master?" So we might see who/ what True Assassin looks like next episode. Or if it is another Extra Class. If I remember my fate lore correclt there are several more Extra Classes like Lord, Beast, etc but those are forbidden from summoning unless the war is screwed up? And this one is now technically a proper war so none of those should appear. So it should be True Assassin.

Lupa not mentioning gooning every time he sees Francesca : Challenge Impossible

GonkDroidCritic

Could you guys in this comment not spoiler the anime, I get you wanna help out their confusion, but that’s their problem for not rewatching episode zero and paying attention, most of these references like the Argonauts as an example are clearly set ups for the climax and meant to be revealed later on, same goes for the Mecha berserker as it’s name and origin will be reveal later on. All this info y’all be commenting out won’t matter either way because they don’t got time to read or give you attention, they got streams and other shows to do.

Matrim Hall

Btw, any servant can appear as any class in any war. They aren't tied to any class you've seen them in before. i.e. Gilgamesh could be a Berserker class or a Lancer class and he'd still be true to the war.

2026-10-05 14:00 Spirits can be summoned into various categories each time, Gilgamesh fits lancer and archer, so he's been summoned as both. same as jack the ripper being assassin in apocrypha but berserker in strange fake. Classes have requirements and specs, and sometimes a certain historical being will fit multiple, it then depends on when/where/how/by who it's summoned. Fake and True only mean pertaining to fake or true holy war, but they are still somewhat following the class rules (some slight shenanigans with avenger class and whatnot but you get what i mean)

Silverhawk

Gil has also been caster, which is my favorite of his

TyBluewave

Spoiling things from the mythological origins of these characters is not spoilers for the show. Fate as a series hopes that you know those things so that you will catch all of the little references that they make. No fate series ever has been written in such a way that you lose impact of the story from knowing mythology. It’s written for mythology nerds. And the argonauts is such a famous and well-known story that it would just be bad writing if mentioning that actually messed with the show. Telling reactors about that myth is not a spoiler at all.

TyBluewave

Not any servant appear in any class, but many servants have multiple classifications that they can fit into. King Arthur can only be Saber unless you’re in F/GO, lancer from fate zero can only be Lancer, and then there are servants like Cù from stay night that can fit into every category except assassin

TyBluewave

The animation team really chose to have her do all the fan service for the whole show

Christian Owusu

Yall have to got to try and actually understand what the show is saying, y’all are usually on point but I feel like Roshi the only one trying to understand the show. Character says outright they just witnessed a memory and said the name of the person he saw but yall think it’s Gilgamesh???

PhaedrusRumple

They did not mention any name there. Nice try though.

Igris

Gotta pay attention while watching Fate series or it just isn't as good. Lots of confusion leading to misjudged GREATNESS!!!
