Considering how he talked about blood and looks… more or less than human, I think that Boojum is a Redcap. A type of goblin that is good with blood magic. Also, the way he was talking and wanting to understand humans, while at the same time dispensing disproportionate punishment for a minor offense is very much how fairies are in folklore and mythology. They generally cannot understand human emotions and customs, as they’re too alien to understand them, and most don’t even care to. They don’t even consider it an option for interacting with mortals. Boojum is very eccentric, even amongst the fae.

Xylo understated how much dragons like Jayce. Especially the fems. He’s something of a ladies’ man, and because he’s always willing to pay attention to any dragons that want some, Neely often gets jealous when he’s paying attention to other fems. Especially if they start giving him gifts, like meat and such. He only has eyes for Neely, though. If he were a dragon, they’d have already been a mated pair.

One thing I'm realizing is that Xylo doesn't give off the usual "annoyed at arranged fiance" trope because he seemed to actually be concerned about Frenci still wanting to be with him despite his current circumstance and vice versa with Frenci actively trying to get him a pardon as well as respectfully addressing their current relationship.. Plus they bounce off of each other's snarkiness really well, good chemistry right there. Kivia you got one hell of an opponent if you ever decide to enter the fray lmao
