LaTesha

Its thundering as I watch this video as well 😆. I couldn't tell if it was outside or the TV at first.

SakuraBlossom

Unrelated but Sheera you look great with the blonde hair.

Łiv~Łiv

I am here for another Friday

LaTesha

I think its still performative and manipulative with Jae oh as it is with everyone else. Each person needs something different for her to manipulate them and she can't act the same way she does towards Jun Seo with Jae Oh. She needs to put on a different persona/performance with him. Its like giving him the affection and sense of purpose he needs/wants that he doesnt get anywhere else and never has. She makes him feel useful and has told him he's not useless. That's why he clings to her.

PetersThimble

I wish the men in this show would stand up 😭 Need my mans to get out of jail and expose her soon

OnceUponABowl

Her trash parents created a manipulation beast

LaTesha

A part of the reason that In-gang hit him was because the guy admitted that he knew that the texts that he sent In-gang cheering him on would upset him and eat him up every time he recieved one. Now that he is in a good place and getting married he finally decided to stop sending texts and fess up to knowing about the nuts in the macaroons (with prompting from Ah Jin's meddling) Its a mix of i can't believe I let something like this eat me up all this time when you purposely did it to yourself, as well as confirmation that the guy was being petty when sending those texts.

▸▸▸25:26 Tbh JAE-OH always been "Fun", Chill & Optimistic than the other 2 guys despite his circumstances. Then JUN-SEO always Depressed, Tense & Dark. Then new co-worker/actor guy is IN-GANG is all Dark, Mysterious & Stern. ▸▸▸26:33 look at him here when AH-JIN leaves compared to JAE-OH 🤣🤣 JUN SEO character is very saddening, not goofy, doesn't tell jokes he doesn't bring any sunshine, smiles & optimism to AH-JIN's life at all so how can she possibly laugh.

SakuraBlossom

Jun Seo needs to STAND UP. Also Kim Jae-Oh is probably my favorite character. He has a charm to him. In-Gang as well. As for why Ah-Jin was all smiley with Jae-Oh, I think she just enjoys his personality. He has a levity to him that probably makes her feel calm. Spot on about how she holds him in higher regard probably because he was willing to kill for his sibling.

SakuraBlossom

For sure. Things are always so intense with Jun-Seo and he has many expectations of her. I'm sure the pedestal he has her on feels suffocating. Whereas Jae-Oh brings the good times and cheer. He's easy going. He pedastalizes her too but not in a way that she would probably feel is confining.

not only did junseo feel pathetic at the very last scene (as he should). i also take that scene as him genuinely realizing just how pathetic he is bc he knows no matter what, he can truly never get away from loving and helping baek ah jin. even when its literally helping her pursue another man. i just know his heart was in his ass when he was laid out on that concrete 😭

girlygirl9983

Omg IN-GANG 📣"we were rooting for you" Now you've been guilted into this mess by his own grandmother, AH-JIN, and his old bandmate, goodness I need next eps. ASAP this one was good, a lot going on. 41:02 i think this scene symbolic for him playing with fire with AH-JIN or something

tt_

baek ah jin is far from innocent but i can’t stand how junseo’s mom acts like she isnt a whole child abuser 😭 like seriously no accountability at all. she literally married baek ah jin’s crazy ass dad and was scheming to film and sell videos of her for money. she’s just as bad as baek ah jin parents. literally unforgivable and i don’t blame junseo for cutting her off. matter fact, electric chair for her too. she needs to go

GoddessHex

It also feels like he realized that these “brotherly feelings” ain’t actually brotherly at all lmaooo

SakuraBlossom

Oh it hasn't been purely brotherly for a whiiiile lol

Jade Pinnock

I also think she relates to him since they both killed an abusive parent

OrbitVerse

I agree with this, but I do think there is also some truth in the way that she treats Jae Oh as well due to future episodes that I won't spoil. Also I feel like sometimes people forget that sociopathy ≠ psychopathy, Ah Jin is able to be attached to people emotionally, as well as manipulative person.

Jesse B

This shit so toxic I feel dirty after watching these episodes 😂😂😂😂

Jamaal Ellison

Wasn't the mom gonna sell her to be sex slave or am I tripping. It's crazy.I don't think there's one innocent person in the show Really. None of them really have redeeming qualities, I think it's up for everybody personally. Also Ah Jin is playing a very dangerous game i could totally see the endgame for her is to be strangled by one of her numerous enemies.

Jamaal Ellison

Never felt brotherly to me it felt incestuous.

Jamaal Ellison

Bro i thought I was tripping she kinda All-in on the Dad's fuckery? Weren't they conspiring send her to a sex island for lots of money? Which apparently is an actual thing in Korea? I've been reading a few webcomics, and it's come up a few times so that's scary. There's an island where you get to sell kids to sex pests. Plus she's scamming her father in law passing her son off his blood related, she got too many skeletons in the closet to be trying to dig up someone else's.

Jamaal Ellison

They're all dirty, I'm seeing that now. You got scammers, liars, murderers, traders, thieves, all the greatest hits. Even is Lena just as bad as all the others, verbally, abusive, physically abusive, plus she was basically bot farming likes on social media with burner accounts with her cousin she's like a female Drake.

Jamaal Ellison

It started snowing when Ah Jin and In-Gang started kissing, so even the universe is on Ah Jin's side for now.

Mike A

Yeah everyone's always been saying that they thought Jun-seo and Ah-jin were an item and he always brushed it off. But seeing her actively pursue In-gang flipped a switch and made him realize his feelings.

Mike A

It's crazy cause we know he was right about Ah-jin and his grandmother is just trying to do what she thinks is going to help him and she's pushing him right into the lava pit lol

Mike A

I love this show, it's so messy. Ah-jin got all these men wrapped around her finger lol. She's such a good character cause I honestly can't tell how much of how she acts with Jae-oh is an act and how much is real.

Jordan

I dont think you 2 noticed this when it happened in all the confusion but, Ah jin didnt kill her dad. He died from the bat hit then she had a trauma induced panic attack of sorts and beat his head in after he was already dead. The with her killing him was the cops made up story being shown. Thats why at the start of the show it says she hasnt killed anyone but was the main reason they died. Seemed to be some confusion so just wanted to clear it up love you guys.

Joni

(patiently waiting for baek heesung crashout)

moné

yo i thought the thunder was in the show at first my god 😭😭😭

moné

i can't believe ingang fell for that there has to be a play somewhere in this bro GET UPPPPPPPP jaeoh is exactly where he wants to be. he's fine. no worries about him until baek heesung gets out. on junseo.... mannnn he'll never survive this year of dating if he's crying over her playing a role in a movie. i think he's always known her lack of empathy and he blames himself for his "uselessness" more than anything. he sacrifices almost everything to make up for what his mother did to her but he failed her that one time so he fully believes he's never going to be loved by her platonically, familially, romantically or all of the above. that's why he pushes his feelings down and is trying to push ahjin towards jaeoh. he thinks that, at least then, he can monitor her happiness and he can still be in her life as a brother rather than nothing at all.

PetersThimble

This is a semantic conversation bc she set up the situation to have Baek Heesung go down for her fathers murder; And its worse bc Baek was an actual nice guy who wanted to protect her bc she manipulated him into believing she was being stalked in order to get him to kill. People that set up the murder scene are just as punishable as the ones who pull the trigger.

Lily Rose

I need a Jun-seo and Jae-oh

Lily Rose

you guys misinterpreted the scene, Jun-seo said “she’s just my younger sister” and Lena said “is that how a man looks at his sister” because she knows he likes her and tried to downplay it.. no one was scolding him for liking his former step sister

ZOOM

same lol

ZOOM

lol, while not with this show, i felt the same watching gossip girl, so i get you
