Sudds

Been waiting all season for this episode 🙌

fatJahorse

Aizawa the GOAT even in a flashback

DevilMayCarter

I believe Sheera said last week how important this backstory is to MHA proper. Episode had me more than the Knuckleduster family fallout from last season. The people around you are important, whether they be big or small. No matter what happens to you, what kind of person you want to be after is what's important. Love this episode.

YungZeus

Damn, so present mic would be unable to talk if AFO took his shit, that sucks.

Tearonex

Top 5 arcs in Vigilantes, made me appreciate Aizawa and his whole mindset from beginning of the main series so much more, and yeah, if you needed any more reasons to hate AFO and the Doctor, them stealing Shirakumo's corpse to make Kurogiri is damn near the top of the list

Jeremiah Cobb

Don’t forget in the main series AFO said they originally wanted eraser but they couldn’t get him so they took shirakumo instead.

DevilMayCarter

Lupa would be down for a Cat Cafe. That would be Toadally Awesome right? LOL

Yassine Biggie

Just so you know Aizawa was supposed to die. The doctor in the main series said that they were originally trying to get Aizawa but instead Shirakumo got taken and turned into Kurogiri. The giant frog dude had a black tongue and was not shrinking when Aizawa looked at him which means he was a modified person like we've seen in this show with the octopus and grasshopper dudes. He also was drugged which confirms to me that all of it was planned and the frog was specifically going to where Aizawa and Shirakumo were patrolling.

Sam

holy overstimulation I am sorry

Helpy

?

Ekko08

This flashback arc made me love Aizawa so much more. Also cat 🥺💛

Xemnas27

Not bro dying to rocks like Caesar from JoJo’s 💀🥀

Sam

Sorry sheera and lupa just kept talking over a lot of dialogue and it was getting to me but then I found out my shi was on 1.5x 😭

T.H.

Guncannon spotted.

Green Camero

Bro I COULD NOT be Aizawa, you mean TWO of my childhood friends are dead and im left with the loud mf

Vman25

This arc was so fire when it came out because the main story was getting to the endgame and seeing how storylines from vigilantes was having major impact in the main story made me so happy

ShaquanVirse

Aight so all I gotta say is, this why some people gotta die. Like fuck was this giant monster in prison? No, give the death sentence!!! 15 Bodies?

Tbdovan

Son Wukong will not return

Jett33

Ya, I wish I saw this flashback before the nomu reveal in the main series. I would have even felt more about Miss Midnight.

Nicka Snax

oof, this one made me tear up fr

Teeny Mite

thats crazy, as sad as it is and the problem kurogiri turned out, im glad the story turned out this way. Making an op ass nomu with erasure as the main quirk would be so hard to kill off like madara 10 ten tails tbh.

WTT_321

I kept on forgetting that we’re in a prequel to the main series, before Aizawa became the teacher we know and love today… 😞 It hits hard after remembering the reveal of who Kurogiri was back in the main series… just remembering how much I hate AFO and his cronies that took and desecrated his body to use as a Nomu… 🤬 Regarding Shirakumo’s body: yes initially it’s the same guy they saw, but then (and this is assuming I remembered this correctly) somewhere along the line that AFO’s doctor swapped out the body for another one… The small detail when they were in the rain: I love the closeup shot of the cracked goggles Aizawa was wearing with a rain drop that’s more of a “teardrop” (almost akin to Full Metal Alchemist when one of the characters cried when it was raining)…. 😢

Fuji

im glad roshi be paying attention cuz those two were lost as fuck lmao

Jaelyn Mcgee

so apparently His Purple Highness is a combination of Prince and Giono from Golden Wind and his quirk is..Chest Hair...so he really had no business trying to kick a building sized frog man

Denzelwya

That shota cut was crazy ngl

Lezu

Damn Aizawa can't look at clouds the same anymore

Arturo

This was a great flashback 😭

Matrim Hall

If y'all remember, some of Class A in the main series were aiming to make people whose quirks showed on their bodily structure more well accepted in society probably included people like the mantis and the squid.

Rondo

LMFAO that’s hilarious

Rondo

This episode was phenomenal! Honestly glad I stopped reading Vigilantes so I can watch the anime only for this arc!

DJ Muldrow

That was like Levi x beast titan mixed with tanjirou and the entry exam demon 🖤🙏🏽

Leopold

Lupa being the problem in the MHA world by asking where All Might is

Isaac

Damn, Shirokumo was basically Aizawa's rock. He was on such an emotional high during a traumatic situation that Shirokumo was just an unconscious voice in his head to keep him going.

cheezeblade

I did NOT need to see the trauma of Suneater had to watch mirio die..

Unknown

Wonder if Aizawa imagines Shirokumo sitting on the the clouds when he looks up, just out of sight

Kris Barnes

I like Roshi and Lupa’s relationship because they swap who says the unhinged shit and who reacts

Phroug

Alright I can't be the only one getting pissed at Teen Aizawa in these fights for not using his quirk. What tf is he waiting for?? He was present for the ENTIRE fight with the giant frog and didn't use his quirk even a single time until literally everyone else on the battlefield was incapacitated. NIGGA DO SOMETHING!! Buddy looked at the frog, saw it charging a kill beam towards his Sensei and Best Friend, and decided to go "LOOK OUT!!!" instead of turning off the fucking kill beam??

MTGLordOfLeaves

Main part of what makes them my favorite reactors. Its pure gold

SoggySoup

It's weak reasoning but the whole purpose of this arc was the fact that he hated his quirk and doubted it's usage.

GJ

He just had no confidence and the bully guy made him think of it worse. He just needed a little push basically.

General Grevious

I would never have guessed that he got folded by rubble, sad to see how he ended up after this too😢
