Slime SLAT

Just putting this out there. Monarch legacy of monsters would be gas ⛽

Jason Marbach

GrayStark

Yall so damn goated. Unreal

cœur

This is why you guys are the goats

naa

Lets fucking gooooo

Caleb

bro got hit so hard, we, the audience, watched a 20 minute flashback 😂

Jamaal Ellison

Dropping this episode early was a prince Baelor level of cool move.

Mohrningstar

On my birthday too ? What a nice surprise

Krype

Wouldn’t be apart of the GoT universe if there wasn’t a bit of tragedy sprinkled in rip homeboy 😔

Jyyxppz.AE

lol roshi just couldnt wait too see it this episode is so peak man

Reign

I WANT EPISODE 6 NOW ROSHI 🗣️

MrGuy3000

Yes lupa it actually is hollowed out bulca wood with a bunch of chunks inside

Tejiri Ubiedi

This nigga Dunk really an anime protagonist 💀

L S

just solved my problem of what to watch tonight. peak episode, the fight felt super intense and was so well made, this is the first GOT show i properly watched and im impressed.... double dark tomorrow pls?

Jamaal Ellison

This episode has felt more like OG Game of Thrones than house of the dragon and the last 2 seasons of Game of Thrones. We get beheadings, we got slit throats, we got crushed skulls. I need the people at HBO to do everything in their power to not piss off the showrunners and have to replace them like what happened with house of the dragon and make the second season total trash. For the love of God, keep them happy.

Krype

The fight choreographers rent was due or something cuz they did not MISS

Inconspicuous Pug

You know a show is peak when they can’t help but watch it early or drop an extra episode

Jamaal Ellison

I rewatched the scene in A Game of Thrones. When they talked about him, he really was the main character.

Sumuzu

LFG!!!!!

PJ Rivera

Probably the best fight scene in GOT history weirdly the most realistic too they can’t just slice straight through armor. RIP the GOAT Baelor Breakspear the great dragon that died for Dunk

Jamaal Ellison

He really pulled a "Now y'all know i don't normally do this buuuuuttttt *boom* y'all come on let's keep the party going".

TheYungFitz

Just in time. Just finished episode 4

Alfonso Velasquez

Keeping my fingers crossed for Terminal List maybe after KOTSK?

J.

Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves

Saphthings

I remember watching this whole episode yelling like "DO SOMETHING!!!!" What happened to the whole "And on the morrow... we shall show them what his hand has wrought..." Apparently this is his first real time even fighting on a horse. He's a scrapper and a good brawler but still much to learn as a knight LOL

kingBD

Does the gum help with lupa stress or something?🤣 for the love of god and all headphone users please chew with your mouth closed

chao_2x (ABZ💙)

AYEEEE I NEED ITTTT hopefully 6 gets posted tmrw or day after 🙇‍♂️🤫

Jamaal Ellison

When you rewatch the moment Maekar killed Baelor it looks like a total freak accident. When he was swinging, it didn't look like "I'm trying to kill you", swing. It looked like a "back the fuck up off me", swing cause as crazy and incestuous as the Targaryens seemed to be the they love, they love hard.

quashhh

one of the best episodes of television ive seen in a while. needless to say ive been anticipating this reaction. GET UP

music man

W ep but daily reminder to stop hoeing Mr robot

Jamaal Ellison

@Slime SLAT: Start @32:15 it's really quick.

Dio_j

4 Pages for sir Duncan the tall

Jonathan Lewis

Mr Robot is a downward spiral so many better options

Cool The Wrathful

Son, the Heir to the Iron Throne himself died for you? You gotta be one the greatest knight ever after that or just quit. No in between 😭

chao_2x (ABZ💙)

na he just chews loud 😂 look when he chews he bites down with hella force 😭😭 I had airpods in thinking my shit was trippin till I really realized he was chewing 😭

Deprox

I swear they said some time ago that they had already watched mr robot a on their own a long time ago

Ibrahim Cheema

Sheera was right about the helmet keeping Baelors brain together

Dallas

Epic the Musical mentioned

Caleb

hbd bro

Jp

the part where Lyonel asks if baelors mother loved him best. I think if im not mistaken meant, that baelors mother favored him and that Maekar was the neglected one. Lyonel thus saying Maekar will fight more fierce then baelor.

Luffy

Plz don’t chew gum again

PAM

That has actually been a fan theory for years. The reason Maekar didn't hold back was that he saw Aerion get his ass beat and rushed to get to him.

Kingmakaii

In that flash back I’m thinking the she took the knife she gonna wait for him to grab her then stab him nope nigga grabbed her grabbed the knife and slit her throat with the speed 😭

PAM

Must've been quite a man.

Jamaal Ellison

Wow I didn't know that, but I imagine there are at least a few billion different fan theories out there. Seeing is how long it takes George to write a story.

Carlos

I appreciate that Aerion was actually nice with it. Blud had better armor and training and he absolutely flexed on Dunk. He didn't even try some chicken shit foolishness at the end like probably everyone expected him to.

Isaiah Cox

LMAOOOO that was a top 10 reaction 😭😭

Carlos

Also, Daeron's prophecy is fulfilled, a great dragon dead on top of Duncan.

Cole hauser

What in the Rocky 5😂😂😂. “Get up you son of a bi***, cause Mickey loves ya” transition🤣🤣🤣

Jnutt913

The helmet is what was holding his head together. You can hear everything squelch out after they remove it.

Frederick

Yeah I can never be in these times. Motherfuckers out here fighting dirty. 😂

Brandon

"It's hot" had me freaking WHEEEZING LMAOOOOOO. my stomach cramping up bro 😂

Wes App

Sheera's face at 36:10 lmao

A

I mean he was also fighting two people at once at that point. Lyonel in front, and he just swung back blindly after getting his in the back by Baelore

kingBD

Got the trifecta going on this episode 🤣 sheera squealing, group dying of laughter, and lupa sweating. Great episode

Crowski

"holding your dreads" LMFAOOOOOOOO

Jamaal Ellison

Yep that's how I saw it playing out.

chao_2x (ABZ💙)

Ser Arlan likely knows Dothraki because he most likely served everywhere & most likely across the Narrows Sea in Essos & I wouldn’t doubt a couple Dothraki’s came to Westeros

Keenan

day early drop ??Dunk and Egg got them locked in lol

Parker

"Beware of an old man in a profession where men usually die young" Arlan was about it.

chao_2x (ABZ💙)

& cool fact Raymun Fossaway was the one who knocked Aerion off Duncan when they were on the floor & he FOUGHT HIS COUSIN on par who was said to be the best of the Fossaway…SOMENE WHO HAS NEVER SEEN WAR or a real Dual…my boy was just a MF SQUIRE IN THE TRAIL OF 7

PAM

Former is more likely. There is precedent for a poor hedge knight going to Essos looking for work as a sellsword.

PAM

At this point Maekar is just so fucking done holding his shit in.

PAM

Especially when that Crown Prince was on track to being the best king since Jaehaerys I.

chao_2x (ABZ💙)

mmmm…okay yeah but he was experienced at this time of his traveling, cuz he served for mercenary groups across the Narrow Sea

Itanna

Btw Baelor dying confirmed Daerons dream of a dragon dying on top of Dunk

PAM

Plus, he saw Aerion get his ass beat and probably have his junk stabbed. Considering Daeron didn't tell him he was gonna take a dive, he probably already thought one of his sons was dead.

Gilthwixt

He truly is built different

Kwame Hasani Salmon

The brain has no nerve endings of its own, it just processes pain for the body. That dude was a dead man walking, literally. So sad

naa

lupa talking about holding roshi’s dreads had me dying 😭😭😭

naa

Wait how?

PAM

I love how Aerion put up a better fight than in the novella. I like that, yes, Aerion is a cowardly bitch, but he is still a knight with the formal training a Targaryen prince can afford. It stands to reason he would put up a good fight.

WAFFLETITS

Yo, Raymun is a beast. Bro shrugged off two lance hits and stayed on his horse long enough to ride around to help Dunc by knocking Aerion off him TWICE, AND got down and beat his dickhead cousin's ass after he betrayed them.

Itanna

If you rewatch the scene he says something along the lines of “I see you with a black dragon dying on top of you”. Their sigil is a black dragon, Baelor has black/brown hair and is the heir to the throne

Gilthwixt

It's literally the prophecy just not how Dunk and Daeron interpreted it. The obvious assumption would be that it means Dunk would fight and kill a Targaryen, i.e. Aerion, but the dragon dying on top of Dunk while he survives can be interpreted as a Dragon giving its life to protect him, which is exactly what Baelor did.

Jamaal Ellison

I'm sure Egg loved seeing Dunk make him a sister.

PAM

I feel this episode also recontextualizes Ser Arlan for the audience. The show gives us a picture of a mediocre knight whom Dunk put on an undeserved pedestal. But while he may not be much as a TOURNEY knight, Ser Arlan is a knight who spent decades fighting for lords, and he is more than capable of throwing down. He killed two men, one with armor, while wearing only a shirt, piss drunk. It’s worth noting he died of natural causes in his 60s, not in battle.

Esteban

Brother I died at the end 🤣🤣🤣

Bria A.

Quick note if any of the gang sees this bc Lupa seemed to catch it: "Daemon's Rebellion" is in reference to Daemon Blackfyre (the first of a few I believe), not Daemon Targaryen from HotD.

Lance Leo

Roshi complaining about the chainmail like its supposed to act like Kevlar all chainmail is supposed to do is to make fatal blows non fatal blows it's not gonna flat out block it 😂

Itanna

Its honestly too much at this point 😂😭

Mr.Mongoose

The ending of the episode was the dream of dunk with a dead dragon in prior episode

Itanna

What’s worse about all these fights is the fact that theres so much mud. There’s no way your injuries aren’t infected

Don't Care

First time rewatching this fight scene, I didn't even notice that on top of all his other wounds, Dunc tanked a mace hit straight to the face from that beast Maekar.

Gilthwixt

It's balsa wood in historical re-enactments like Medieval Times and as props in the show, yeah. Actual lances were made of Ash wood and tipped with steel - flexible enough not to shatter instantly but strong enough to unseat a knight from his horse. It's a literal weapon of war, it's designed to kill you. The exploding part is just kayfabe to sell how hard they're crashing into one another on camera without the actors actually being in danger.

PAM

It kept the blades from piercing too far into his skin, but it'll still hurt bad as fuck.

Gorrr

The only thing that is stuck in my mind is “Fingers feel like wood”

Jp

Also Daeron's dream came true, I think, "A great dragon will fall on you ser duncan, and it will be dead."

Gilthwixt

Was about to say this in another comment. That's a tough old bastard right there.

Narybasmati

sheera being stressed the whole ep like he gon die when we know he's a legend with his own tales? ambitious project of 10 seasons but killing him at ep5 would be crazy

Paranoid

3:15 Tourney Lances are actually hollow so they can be taller than spears or warlances. In the books there were more getting ready part and Baelor told his side to use Tourney Lances as they are longer. Just a nice detail of a what type of commander he was

Nick Vaughn

Lupa saying he holding Roshi’s dreads at the end fucking sent me 🤣🤣🤣

CentipedeKid

Y'know what Aerion got it he really threw down. Duncan dead ass survived on the plot. Bro was getting poked up.

sol jam

I love this show so much, to me it's the only true books adaptation, you can even say Dunk Surviving all that is because the gods want him to survive because in the books although the seven are the least magical they still interfere in the story

DatKid_Kaneki

facts multiple battles n yet died to natural cause

CentipedeKid

Mind you all this happened on less then a days notice for no reason then Aerion wanting to have gang beef instead of a 1 on 1 I see why his father was pissed look at this chaos when he probably could have just won the 1 on 1.

Bria A.

y'all keep saying this and no lie i genuinely can never hear it. idk if i instinctively tune it out as background noise, or what.

Bria A.

no, they said they've already seen people recommending it in the comments (along with a list of other examples) and will either get to it or not get to it lol.

October Veil

Loved the reaction thank y’all for dropping it early!!

DarkHorse24

Facts coz I first thought he’s just trash but turns out he’s a pretty good fighter.

Teeboy Gamer

He might have also fought as a sell sword in Essos. Probably how he learned to speak Dothraki.

CentipedeKid

That's pretty impressive for a guy that lost every tournament and lived to tell the tale

CentipedeKid

5 minutes after being knighted

PAM

Teeboy Gamer: He may have FOUGHT Dothraki. Talk about street cred.

Bobby Robinson

Brooooooo fuck anything GOT 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 the one damn honorable dies

thegosthofvilgax

Dunk The Tall who died in an epic duel would be a good legend too lmao

Val Mckinney

Lupa coming out of the right corner killed me lmao I'm crying

Narybasmati

He got his shit rocked tho, but the show is great

Devin B

I'm glad the fight got turned into a dogfight cause those are the ones that shows how desperate each person is to win.

Tasi T

Baelor is considered one of the most honorable Targaryens - the king who never was, essentially. Daeron's dream wasn't about a literal dragon but what the dragon represents. Baelor died in Dunk's arms.

WackySwacky

The episode doesn’t really spell it out, but when Dunk first finds Arlan sleeping after his rescue, the helmet Dunk picks up is on top of Arlan’s nephew’s grave. He was his young squire who died in the battle that Dunk was looting at the start of the flashback (Battle of the Redgrass Field, the final battle in the 1st Blackfyre Rebellion). It’s heavily implied that the reason Arlan is so drunk here is because he is grieving for the death of his nephew. So when he sees Dunk, an innocent young boy, being attacked by the Gold Cloaks, Arlan is probably thinking he doesn’t want to let another kid die under his watch. The reason why Arlan screams “In the name of the Mother!” is because when you are knighted, you swear to the Mother to “protect the innocent.” So Arlan was a knight who remembered his vows.

AmpLvX

Aerion was literally piecing dunk up why didn't he just take the 1v1 he probably would've had that

Paul Reyes

Y’all have me cracking up at the gym at the end 😂😂

WackySwacky

Well, on the surface, you are supposed to view Daeron’s dream as being fulfilled after Dunk’s Trial of Seven. However, Dearon mentions a great fire, which is absent here. Fans of the books will know that the prophecy is more likely to be about the end of Egg’s reign.

Cinmnapple

Mostly, yeah. Baelor was great man aka a great dragon. Not a black dragon though. The targaryens are the red dragon and the blackfyres (who they are at war with) have the black dragon.

Shane

I think Dunk died at least twice. From what I recall from book nerds he's basically protected/blessed by the gods.

Tbdovan

He would of lost a 1v1. It only looked close because dunk was heavily damaged from what happened prior. His armor minimalized it but he was worn down for it to become even

Eric

Lupa this gum can't continue it sucks to listen to

Cinmnapple

33:06 "me being a cheating Targaryen still lighting him up with arrows" LMFAO wrong targaryen! iykyk

Fuji

nahhh bro seeing a mf with a skull helmet swinging a mace i couldnt be built for that shit

Sam

Milk of the poppy was a crazy pull from sheera 😭

Fizzy 🐉

Had to watch the last two episodes my self and I was not disappointed at all straight cinema

divineat

the milk of the poppy shit KILLED ME LMAOO

LUPASAN

Ahhhhhhh gotcha

Bria A.

You're all good man, the amount of characters with the same name is both hilarious and realistic (but stupid) 😭. There's 16 whole Aegons in the books, apparently -- and not all of them are Aegon Targaryen specifically, but the majority of them are lmao.

divineat

nah if that deadass was Roshi with the whole back of his head gone, his dreads would for sure be falling out like chargers from those loose ass sockets at the airport

Bria A.

Genuine question here: any tips on keeping track of people during the battle? Between the lighting, the pacing, and the muted colors / mud, I honestly could barely tell who was who 😭

Fuji

also bro is a fucking TANK and that helmet is made outta vibranium lmao

Adrian Locke

Sheera talking bout milk of the fucking poppy LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO

Delinda Arts

nigga ion know shit about shit but when Pate said that dumb shit about some boiling oil, i was blowwwwedddd lmao. nigga you tryna heal me or cook me wtf! lmaooo

Adrian Locke

King Daeron when he find out his grandson being a piece of shit got his heir and Hand killed: 😟

Hanno

The best fight in all of GOT. Armor actually works here. Aerion stabs Dunk multiple times but the chainmail stops them going super deep. You don't have characters taking off their helmets just so we know who is who. And you see how exhausting fighting is

Nick

That outro made me light headed.

Bria A.

confusing alcohol sterilization and deep frying is nasty work lmfao

Argo2Unitard

Lyonel Baratheon said Baelor was pussy case he's a momma's boy.

Krype

Duncan is a noob and Aerion gets the best training of course he would’ve won

PAM

30:45 I like how understated Aerion’s reaction is when he realizes Dunk won't stay down. He doesn't rant, rave, or panic. Just a resigned “Yep. This is gonna suck.”

Hanno

"You want a family, go out there and get a family". Dunk found Ser Arlan and then he found Egg

Joni

the end discussion is killing me bro LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Hanno

To top it all off, Alester who has been robbing the poor, intimidating them and killed Rafe is a Gold Cloak, a member of the City Watch who are supposed to keep the king's peace

Hanno

Rafe got that silver because she scavenged after the end of a battle and the war was now over. She wasn't going to get silver again so I understand her crashout

PAM

And for all we know, Ser Arlan's sibling probably died, so he was probably a second father to his nephew as well as his master. And it probably factored in to why he eventually took Dunk as a squire.

ChromeMox

He is also hit by 2 other opponents, Aerion's dad, Maekar and the rotten apple knight. Though at one point the green apple boy saves dunk. So this fight was essentially a 1v1 that was assisted in Aerion's favor and he still lost.

chao_2x (ABZ💙)

it blows me how Sheera thought Duncan would die 🤣 like he don’t got 4 pages of him

chao_2x (ABZ💙)

“But I have seen you, ser. And a fire. And a dead dragon. A great beast with wings so large they could cover this meadow. It had fallen on top of you. But you were alive, and the dragon was dead.” RIP BAELOR BREAKSPEAR

Raymond Terry

This is the perfect reaction. Tears in my eyes.

arturo lomeli

One of the best episodes of all time from any show! Masterpiece!!

Hanno

I love how much better Aerion is at knightly combat than Dunk and it makes sense. Aerion is a prince who has been trained by the best masters-at-arms and it shows. He was destroying Dunk. But when Dunk got him close and away from his weapons he could demolish him. "Aerion could vanquish Ser Duncan the Tall, but not Dunk of Flea Bottom"

Dreamer

At first it seems obvious that Daeron’s talking about this fight with the great black dragon dying. You can think “Baelor has dark hair and died in Dunk’s arms” BUT if you read the book and you know what Dunk does later and how it all ends, you definitely see the alternative translation as well.

Hanno

Baelor was wearing his son's armor because he hadn't come to Ashford to participate in the tourney. This meant that the helmet didn't properly fit him so he wasn't protected from hits to the head

Crispy

of course they kill of one of the best characters off, now we are just stuck here with a big of assholes XD

earthphoenix7068

Lances are hollow so it doesn’t feel like your arm is hit by a galloping horse and some change after making contact.

Hollow

Not holding Roshi's dreads lmao Tears streaming down my face This is why I watch y'all.

Jamaal Ellison

This might sound a bit messed up, but I'm actually glad he killed Rafe. It's not that I dislike her character, but given her situation in Flea Bottom and the Game of Thrones universe, it felt like the most inevitable outcome for someone like her. Rafe pushed her luck too many times; he let her go once, and she still stole from him, even though he deserved it. She's impulsive and greedy, like when she pushed Dunk to steal those crowns from the noble guy's mouth because she was desperate to leave. Alester also got what was coming to him. In stories like that, someone eventually gets you.

Gamebred

Imagine the Heir to the Throne dying at your birthday party 💀

L1NG

i think it also shows why dunk was hurt by egg deceiving him, he thought he was like him, a young orphan who followed a knight wanting to be a squire. so when he finds out he’s highborn it hurts more

Jon Smith

Use the right name, "Baelor Breakspear," it's much cooler

chloecringe

his form is immaculate the slack jaw full left to right grazing is crazy

HollowedSlayer

Don't think you guys caught it, but Ser Arlan had buried his squire, which was his nephew I believe? (Young Dunk lifts his helmet off the grave when Arlan was sleeping) Explains why Arlan was so drunk and ran to Dunk's aid, grieving his loss.

Jon Smith

Jamaal, she's a homeless orphan child who grew up in complete poverty from the beginning, literally what the hell is wrong with you man? Are you a psychopath who doesn't have any empathy? This is genuinely a crazy post.

L1NG

as soon as i heard rhe prophecy from old mate i knew it was going to be some bullshit, dragon dreams usually use a dragon to reflect a targaryen so i knew when he said it was a huge mf i knew it wasn’t the bitch ass prince dying though it could have been a future about egg i wasn’t sure

TheHud257

Once again, u know u have an legendary reaction video on your hands if Lupa is DRENCHED in sweat by the end 😂 😂

L1NG

i havent read the books but you should be fine with HOTD spoilers from this series. the daemon mentioned this episode is not the daemon from HOTD, rhe blackfyte rebellion was 13yrs before AKOTSK and HOTD would end like 70-80 years before this.

Jamaal Ellison

So, when I was around 10 or 11, I was at my grandma's house for the summer, and I really didn't want to go outside, but she made me. I was walking down the street, and the neighbor was mowing his lawn. The blade hit a rock, and it flew up and hit me in the face. I saw it coming right at my chin, but it was too fast to react. I woke up, sat up, brushed myself off, and started walking home. Another neighbor saw me and asked if I was okay. I was like, "Yeah, why?" He said, "Your face!" I looked down and my shirt was covered in blood, and my chin was split open, just gushing blood. I hadn't felt a thing, but the amount of blood and the shock of seeing it made me cry.

Jamaal Ellison

No it's not like that i feel like in that scene. Everyone behaved in a way they were supposed to in line with the way their characters were portrayed in the show. In this dark messed up world that is Game of Thrones.

Ren

Cried like a mf when Egg was yelling Get Up. When that boy screamed WAAIIT... Chills

kai. 🩶

every time i watch a flashback all i can think about is zanka

Unknown

Jon Snow was the second King Who Never Was, who would've changed the realm in the best way possible. After Prince Baelor.

midorimacha

Thank you so much for reacting to this early 🩵

Polo

And he has no kids. So his nephew is pretty much his child. Especially since he is his squire.

Polo

He did, but he put the paws on dude near the end.

Polo

some of them dont even become King. So they don't get the Number after their name. Which makes it even more confusing at times lol.

Crispy

" Who is this show about?!" lupa ur funny asf bro XD

Polo

i just followed the colors and sigils. Also most of the people in the fight had a certain armor theme. Like Lyonel had antlers on his helmet. And the Kingsguard are in all white.

rian

i liked the way dunk fought, when he locked aerion’s arm and smacked him with that bear paw 😃

Zach

They use spaghetti to get that explosive breakage.

J.

Its so good

DJ Muldrow

Nigga that last bit made me cry laughing holy fuck 😭 holding your dreads is crazy

Gravity

i like when Aerion realizes that Dunc is up and like sighs cuz hes fucking tired. Then even gives him a little salute before going back in. He actually showed respect for being who he is

Rachel Gwinn

bro they gonna love the end that shit was great

girlygirl9983

OMG this was TOO MUCH why was I crying the whole battle LMAO like GET UP‼️ Dang I really liked the guy that died. SMH 😢

Fatak Scar

I thought I was tripping for a second wtf let’s gooooo

Red Death

Dude has two sons whose lives are at risk and his brother is on the opposite team where nobody is allowed to genuinely attack him. Of course Maekar would fight with everything he's got.

RoninSensei

Im autistic about medieval history. So them knowing very little about how the arms and arrmaments makes me want to rant

howwlll

For sure, plenty of recycling of names for the Targaryens and then you get people named after them due to inspiration/respect. So you have Aenys, Aegon, and Rhaegar Frey running around with Baelor Hightower. Not exclusive though, Robert was already a fairly common name and I think there are quite a few young Roberts running around after his Rebellion

howwlll

Telling the three Kingsguard apart will be impossible. All Targs are wearing black though and you can generally tell by their helmet or weapon (mace for Maekar, flail for Aerion to start, sword for Baelor). I don't really remember seeing Daeron though, he likely just goes down early like planned. Like others mentioned, Lyonel has the antlers. Steffon's armor is a bronze color and has a concave looking shield (similar to what Raymun shows Dunk in ep 6), Raymun is the only one not wearing plate, Hardyng has the red and white color scheme (you see a Kingsguard knock him off his horse when Dunk is pulling the lance shard out), Robyn has more of a plain dark grey steel armor, and Beesbury also has dark grey armor but his is covered in yellow coloring

Śtórmí X

Nah this episode was 🔥 had me hyped up and sad at the same time

Keevondrick Womack

they GOTTA find who made buddy's armor. Cuz what you mean the rest of his set is damn near flawless but helm is concaved into his brain cavity????

Zazikel

Baratheon says to Baelor "Mother loved you best? Shame, no man fights as fierce as one neglected by his mother", meaning that Baelor was loved by his mother and won't fight fiercely. As we saw on the contrary how Maekar fought - so fiercely that he killed his brother without realizing it.

steezymig

it wasnt his armor, he borrowed his sons armor, which was a smaller fit than his regular amor.

Victor

Wait a minute. Dunk fought Aerion, Raymon fought his cousin, Lyonel and Baelor tied Maekar down, Hardying and Beesbury died at first lance. Doesnt that mean the mad one-eyed knight held all the Kingsguard off by himself? PS: I didnt count Daeron because he already sold. Dude really put a freaking peacock feather on his helmet to let the others know it is him 🤣

Victor

Lord Ashford's only worry yesterday was how he can financially recover after overspending for his daughter birthday, and it means nothing now.

Thilde

Show Aerion is definitely more interesting than the novella version. The actor did a great job

Thilde

Lupa was literally the first person I thought of when Egg yelled "WAAAAAAIT"

Thilde

Nah Lyonel was fighting the kingsguard earlier. By the time him and Baelor moved to Maekar 1 of the kingsguard was already incapacitated. Robyn Rhysling is still a beast tho

rayman

man the outro was so god damn funny compared to how tense and serious this episode was 😭😂 shit had my cry laughing so hard

Panda D Tobs

Thus the prophecy the drunk targeyrian saw gets fulfilled. A dead dragon did fall on top of Ser Duncan, a dragon who was heir to the iron throne

PAM

Aerion: Maybe the puppet show really wasn't that big of a deal.

Ayanda Mpofu

Glad Aerion was actually cooking in the first half, my guy is a demon 😂.

walter gibson

Lyonel jealous his mancrush was making googly eyes at prince baelor. Thats why he called him a mamas boy.

ZOOM

Wasnt thre salute to hype Himself up? thats how i interpreted it atleast

Fizzy 🐉

What episode were you watching loool

KapZachlan

You’re laughing. Baelor’s brains are on the floor and you’re laughing

Chris Kringle

How are you a paid sub to the Patreon and not share their sense of humor? maybe go watch someone else ig🫡

Soup484

never seen a joke go over someones head this far before

Legion

Ya’ll three psychopaths for laughing at that scene lol.

TheNinth

Aye it’s a meme😭

AmpLvX

Put this shit into video game terms aerion had higher dexterity, he had higher level sword skills and better armor had dunk not sliced his tendon he would’ve still been up…sure he had help but as someone in the comments said alr everyone essentially was doing there own 1v1 with the exception of the mad knight who I think was 1v2 the royal guard you CANNOT imply that aerions assistance from his allies imply’s he’s weaker just because Dunk’s allies didn’t make the same time also it should be said that dunk seriously took more damage than him which should wrap up my original point of aerion out skilling dunk but idk someone tell me if I don’t got a point

KapZachlan

My guy got less brains than the Prince of the blood

Chris Kringle

Well what’s the joke? At least 4 other people didn’t catch whatever reference that is so please explain💀

Tri Maxel

2:50 Roshi is right the jousting lances are hollow which is why they explode. In the books Baelor makes them use jousting lances against the others that uses war lances with iron tips. This is because the jousting lances are quite a bit longer than the war lances and than Baelor says: Aim for the head XD 30:22 In the books Dunk says to himself that, Sir Duncan the Tall can't defeat Aerion, but Dunk of Flea bottom CAN RIP to the Dragon that never Flew GRRM have said had Baelor lived Targaryen's would never have lost power. Which is why GRRM just makes characters so good they must die. Valar Morghulis ALL MEN MUST DIE

artisticSarcasm

Oliver

LOL they did not just laugh. They were literally in shock, people process things different and they are just processing through jokes, but they were shocked when they saw it. I expected them to be laughing from your comment. Baelor is such a GOAT and they were not even for a sec thinking that he could die this episode. They were all in on Dunk IMO :) Absolutely Goated fight scene tho

The Lonely One

Back in medieval times, the kind of wood chosen for jousting lances varied depending on whether it was a "joust of war" or a "joust of peace" (like tournaments). **Ash** was the top pick for both kinds, thanks to its strength and flexibility, which helped it absorb the impact without easily breaking. During the 15th and 16th centuries, **pine and fir** became popular choices for tournament lances. They were lighter than ash, which allowed for thicker shafts that were still easy to handle. Pine was particularly favored in "jousts of peace" because it would break upon impact, making it safer while still allowing competitors to score points. **Oak** occasionally made its way into "jousts of war" lances due to its toughness and weight, delivering a powerful strike while being hard to break. **Poplar and beech** were other alternatives, depending on what was available, with poplar often selected for its decorative qualities and lighter weight in tournament lances. **Key Differences:** - **Jousts of War**: Hardwoods like ash or oak were used, often featuring sharp tips to potentially injure opponents. - **Jousts of Peace**: Wood types like pine, fir, or hollowed-out ash with blunted tips were used to ensure safer breaks during friendly matches.
