RedSunCrusher!!!

I was so locked in with the conversation between Vash And knives. I literally did not lose focus on them that was very well done.

RedSunCrusher!!!

In the first season we were shown wolfwood's backstory where he was experimented on as a kid. And because of the experiments he rapidly grew and he was forced to age up and so if it weren't for the doctor. Woofwood would've stayed as a kid and lived his life in the orphanage.

Wolfwood legit entered the boss room without touching grace first. Bro got no heals and we got a flashback at the start of the episode for him. It’s over for him next episode

ofc nai becomes a hypocrite. how are you going to say humans are terrible & u want to free your brethren & then proceed to kill 20 plants just so u can be stronger?? i thought something was off in the previous episode because he wasn’t angry after being brought back from other plants

It's a lot more nuanced than just hypocrisy tbh. Nai's inciting incident for hatred towards humans was Tesla's VIVISECTION which is why he keeps calling humans terrible. He then psychologically imprinted the pain from that incident to whenever he sees a human take advantage of any plant. In his mind, and at this point in the game he's giving them a quick death in support of the species, which is a mercy to them he feels rather than being leeched by a different species until death (in the case of the normal plants), and after (in the case of Tesla). He's apathetic they died, but he can't save them and that's something he acknowledges in the flashbacks last season and from Zazzie this one, he can't stop them from going dark even when not used by humans. His mindset is now warped towards "I know I'm going dark now, but I can bring everything down with me so some plants can hopefully make it out". Sacrificing the few to hopefully preserve the majority of plants futures. But there is a huge fallacy to his thinking, in that he thinks he needs to take it upon himself as an independent plant to free the dependent plants by whatever means, showing he finds himself, Vash and Tesla even above the other plants

19:56 Well five months of no rest and using telekinesis continuously does that to a person😂

This was shown last season, but the line about Wolfwood "being able to stay young" is referencing how the doctor accelerated his growth. While he looks physically older, he's closer in age to his younger self we see in the flashbacks.

Hypocrisy is hypocrisy. Saying that a bad thing is okay when I do it is nonsense. It’s just a way for people to excuse doing what they want and hurting who they want. Either own up to being evil and willing to use and abuse anyone to get your way, or stop doing what you claim is evil. That’s all there is to it. And trying to say that “everything is nuanced” is how you allow evil things to persist. There are some things that do require a deeper look and understanding. But things like this are not one of them.

@Coatl45 Saying hypocrisy is hypocrisy is basically saying you agree with Nai's side that all of one group must be how you perceive said group to be and none can be viewed as different since you left no room at all for leeway tbh. Humans incited this completely when they VIVISECTED (which means while alive) Tesla who was raised as their child only because it might help them understand plants better with no guarantees, all a long time before any of the Nai stuff, but sure that doesn't matter or shouldn't matter in Nai's thought process. Life is more complicated than it seems and nuance + grey area for beliefs will always need to be factored in😅. You're not making more of a point other than Nai's, which is the villain in the story. The purpose of the story has always been about the misappropriation of hate and grief, and working past them to a good future 🙂

And you’re just saying that he’s justified in trying to genocide an entire species because of what a handful did. And that any means necessary is justified as long as he reaches that goal. Including cannibalizing the brethren that he claims to want to save. It’s not nuanced. It’s hypocrisy. And no amount of justification makes it right. There are some things that you need to draw a line in the sand and not budge on. What Nai is doing with the grafting is one of them. Besides, isn’t Vash doing the same thing by not killing anyone, no matter how much they may deserve it?

Anon7524

@Coatl45 I never even close to said that or tried to justify it, I even said he was the villain and reinforced it was bad to think like Nai when you made a comparison that was in line with his thinking about not acknowledging any nuance or the grey areas 😅😬. I expanded on what he thought beyond just being a hypocrite according to some by showing where human's screwed up, he misappropriated his pain, and point out that it's not just hypocrisy in my first message while also not taking his side but only showing there is more to the thought process of Nai. However, thats me saying all humans deserve pain/genoc*de in this universe according to you ig since I pointed out the thought procress involved🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️. Being objective is not taking a side

sol jam

Man I love this show but god damn Vash is the type of hero that would let Epstein live just KILL

Honored one

Don't care I'm with Nai🤷🏽‍♂️ If aliens started enslaving humans and then milking our bodies for life to sustain themselves and we had a chance to wipe them out I would 1000% do it

Blood Wizard

You would support genocide on your own people just because we’re trying to survive? Nuh bro if your suicidal then just take your self out all of us don’t gotta go with you bruh
