I will say, it does feel like someone is making sure that the heroes are getting these sentences rather than death, if i had to guess right now, it could be connected to the guy with long hair and glasses from the last episode or the guy who was at Xylo's sentencing.

After last week's good ep, we are back to the same predictable stuff it seems. The church uncle is evil we all know it but Kivia, and killing him in likely a few episodes is probably gonna be her sin for what turns her into an eventual Hero. Adventurers guild siding for profit and ambition? Shocker that they would do something totally obvious🙄! Killer brainwashed kids for an early arc in a fantasy story? Totally original idea, never seen it before 🙄! The show may look pretty, but it seems to rehash everything from other fantasy stories even if it's changed a bit😔

Well the what is sharing why this has seemed to decline, and I'm continuing because I hope to be proven wrong and for a turn around in quality and substance (like my OG thoughts on Clevatess after its 2nd arc which was a r fantasy incarnate and 4.5 eps long, but the first episode and the back half of the season was great). Also, judging on how those ideas were executed alone like you said which is still what I was doing before to a degree: they did nothing new with how it was presented or innovate beyond other aspects shown better in other stories. It looked pretty, but was bland af and rather repetitive 😅

Alright now after learning about the crown prince, I DEADASS think mr Majesty IS the king, but after he got killed the church brought his soul back, put it in another body, and then had someone take the king's place as a fake. And the Prince would KNOW that the fake is not his real dad, so they are keeping him locked up in the tower. THE CURCH BE SCHEEMIN' !

Xylo views himself as this self sacrificing, abrasive idiot that nobody could possibly like, so the possibility that there are people that might actually love and care about him is completely alien to him. He doesn’t even understand why Frenci won’t give up on him. He’s a completely unreliable narrator when it comes to people. If a problem can’t be solved by punching it in the face, then he can’t really understand… or he’ll make it solvable by punching it in the face.

If it ain't broken, there's no need to fix it. Not every single story needs to be peak. If everything was top tier, you wouldn't have a threshold of what's good, average or bad. Sometimes, you need shows that you watch while doing something else or if you have nothing else to watch. Expecting it to surprise you at any moment after 8 episodes is torturing yourself. You can stop watching.
