Egon Tiedemann was a major police Inspector in Winden, Claudia Tiedemann was the head of the nuclear plant in 1986. The Tiedemann name means a lot in Winden. Aleksander took Regina's last name so the Tiedemann name continues in the town. That's about it. Bartozs last name is Tiedemann so the name continues its heritage in the town

the cave is massive. Just go back to any prior episode that shows the map of the some of the caves chambers. It is MASSIVE. Like an entire Elden Ring dungeon. There is big chambers, tunnels, side tunnels, etc and THEN you have the tiny creepy passage way going through somewhere deep in there after you get passed the red string. Also FINALLY the source of the roar is explained! Well not explained but shown hahaha. Did you guys notice that? When Jonas opened the tunnel and the wind violently rushed past his hair, it made the same roar it did before during the kidnappings. The light flickering is obvious of course as the show pretty much yells in your face it is Jonas causing the lights to flicker. So now we know that the cave time tunnel is causing the roar and the lights. And mr. Doppler and the Nielson grandpa DEFINITELY are working together for some reason. My hypothesis is that they are employees/ cultists of Noah in the modern day, and then there is another employee from the past or future who is the third hooded guy who kidnapped the deaf boy. And honestly Regina and Ulrich were both right. Regina does seem to have a victim complex from here and prior episodes when she was yelling at the banker about how her hotel being total shit is not her fault and the bankers are evil assholes, and then now she 3000% started the fight with Katherina, even if Ulrich was horrible to her before. All she had to do was go "Your Husband threatened me/ verbally assaulted me/ is a bastard who just came to my hotel to berate me! I will press charges!/ never let him talk to me again!" And Katherina would have reacted so differently than her going "Rescuing your daughter from our sick freak town huh? Why don't you just leave lmao" Regina definitely deserved the beat down there from Katherina, though not any of the shit from Ulrich. And WOW we are only 6 episodes in but the plot is already so intense. How are there 2 more seasons of this!? I neeeeed triple episode reacts haha. It is soooooo good!

Ok so... so far I think the present timeline IS the complete reset.. cuz like think about it.. Mikkel doesn't exist as the boy nor as Jonas's father anymore, and they were talking about the 33 year Lunar-Solar cycle where everything has a hard reset and back together. So I think, the guy from the future, that we see helping Jonas, is 33 years from the future to the present, and this Jonas went to 33 years to the past from the present performing resets every lunar cycle? what in the bumbaclat am i even saying i need to binge this gotdamn show now

The dynamic between all the 2019 parents in the first few episodes has been one of my favorite parts of rewatching the show, but especially Aleksander and Regina, who they set up as antagonistic to Ulrich and Katharina at first.
