Hmm, I feel like “Alex” is going to be some kind of time device that Link and the professor built, and that’s why Sinatra forced her way into getting it. I also think the device is connected to the nosebleeds like how the scientist Billy kills handed him a tissue right before his nose started bleeding, and how Link’s nose bled right before he left Annie.

He said billionaires think they can buy anything but you can’t buy time and the only way to stop the crush from happening is for us to have not fucked up the environment in the first place.

I’m pretty sure the visions they are having is future visions. We are dealing with some type of time travel I would guess. It’s a sci fi show, who knows what Alex exactly does and what link knows or was previously invoked with it before Billy killed Henry.

Any opportunity to see James Marsden return would be wonderful. It is disheartening to witness Cal consistently being subjected to others' frustrations; he was a kind individual with good intentions. Sinatra appears to be quite challenging towards everyone she encounters. I am curious if the show intends to redeem her character, or if she is destined to be the ultimate antagonist.

This show is "This Is Us" but during the apocalypse. I knew she was cooked. And I figured he'd have to care for her fresh out the puss baby which connects him more to Link.

It's made by the same showrunner, and it was the breakout role for Sterling K. Brown. He had a similar career path to Giancarlo Esposito. In *Breaking Bad*, he was working before he got the role as Gustavo, during *Breaking Bad*, and after that star making performance. He was in everything afterward, the same scenario here. Since you've never seen *This Is Us*, I'll just say it's the exact same format—past, present, future—with the exact same type of music as *Paradise*.

Realistically Xavier was supposed to get his chest blown out. The second he took down the kid, his dad walked to see Xavier on top of him, a complete and total stranger. his chest should have been opened up plus they're in Tennessee. He's a black man on property, he wasn't supposed to be on when they're are signs all around that say no trespassing, and that they have guns. Pure plot armor. Xavier Collins is an extremely naive person. He's pretty much the same character he was on *This Is Us*.

Annie's death scene was sad but very beautiful. Shailene Woodley acted the heck out of that part. I, along with a few other people, have said that she's a very wooden actress. I felt all the appropriate emotions I was supposed to feel as she was passing on. It was a very, very well-acted scene, and the music on top of it really helped.

I've seen some people elsewhere theorize there's a setup for time travel, but idk. I can see Sinatra try it though perhaps its what's causing Xavier and Link's visions. I do wonder why just those two(that we've seen so far) are the only one's having them. And I still don't trust Sinatra in general lol but Jane is worse.

I don't think it's exactly time travel as in physically going to the past or future. The class the dude from the last episode taught, that Link was in, was called "Advanced Wave Functions, Superposition, and Quantum Entanglement". Advanced wave functions have to do with retrocausality, or the idea that future events can effect things in the past. I think they are entangling particles in the present with ones in the future so they can create a model or even a conscious experience of what will happen in the future. That's how Sinatra already knows the world will be fixed, she's literally seen it. But viewing someone in the future can cause that person or thing to become quantumly entangled themselves and that entanglement can be retrocausal. So the visions X and Link are having is something that Sinatra used Alex to look at, and that viewing is causing them to see it too, before it ever happens. That's probably how Link knows Alex is "alive" in the first place, because he is already familiar with the symptoms. Even Billy has deja vu when the guy asked him if there were no bars in his town. It is the same thing Xavier said to him, but they don't meet til arrival day in the bunker so there was no reason for that reaction unless some time fuckery was going on. Maybe the distance into the future and number of viewings effects the strength of the symptoms, which is why Billy only got a bit of deja vu before and a single nose bleed during the event witnessed whereas Link gets recurring visions, headaches, and nosebleeds leading up to it. I'm even gonna guess that the Antarctic volcano only erupted when it did because they were using Alex to view when it would erupt in the future, which then entangled the volcano in its erupting state with itself in the past, similar to how a particle in quantum superposition collapses into a defined state when it is measured. But, yea, Jane's the worst.
