It's not impossible, but I think Dorohedoro's chances are lower than other returning shows they've reacted to. Roshi and Sheera ranked it pretty low in an anime ranking stream a few months ago. I don't think they remember much from the first season, but to be honest, neither do I after all this time. Can you believe S1 aired about 6 years ago?? I'll have to do a rewatch soon, though I'm not sure when I'll find the time for that. 😭

They were so proud of their work they wanted to give it to us early and this whole time that they were marketing it on all the social pages they never showed anything past EP 1 but nobody seemed to pay attention. Expect more news on the 28th at an event called AnimeJapan, where they will release the schedule and release date, it’s been leaked to be weekly and due to being on Japan’s most prominent networks NHK it’ll be similarly released like Orb. most likely returning in the summer.

I mean they could've just come out and told everyone couple days before episode 1 dropped or even weeks before "Hey we're still not finished with SBR but to show our appreciation and dedication we wanted to release episode 1 early" instead of dropping a trailer, giving us a release date, not saying anything bout the schedule then when everyone is hype after watching episode 1 and is asking about episode 2 you go "oh we don't know when episode 2 will come out". Communicating can actually make a big difference.
