I've never actually given it a shot, but should I read *Soul Eater*? Is it good? It was a little after my time. I fell off of anime for a while, but I see people swear by it; for years, people have talked about that series. This would have probably hit a lot differently if I had watched that show. Finding out it's a prequel to *Soul Eater*, for me, is like finding out that *Negima* had a sequel series called *UQ Holder*.

The anime and the manga are much different, for reference, the anime is about 36 of the 112 chapters in terms of cannon content. A lot of characters have had their characterization changed for the anime since the Manga progresses in a way the anime wouldnt be able follow.

Hopefully there is a FMA Brotherhood type where they adapt the manga's end instead of the Anime original everyone hated lol I like David productions, but idk; Bones is so witty, quirky, always have this low-fi hip hop vibe that made the perfect match for soul eater. Would love, like many, a stream rewatch of Soul Eater. I think there is definitely gonna be a remaster version of Soul Eater in the future following the entire manga. Not saying the original wasn’t great, but it would be cool to see those later arcs animated.

She saw herself falling in love with him, didn’t know what to do with that information, and said that he would fall for her. And her saying that she only wanted his kid was her not able to admit that she did love him. So those two kids probably are both Shinra’s. His with Iris and Inca.

Obligatory comment hoping we get a Soul Eater remake like FMA:B. If I recall correctly, the anime followed the manga up to about the 40% point before splitting off into it's own story. The manga gets WILD. You should definitely do a re-watch-reaction of Soul Eater though. Gotta give love to the classics.

they arent. idk why the anime cut it but in the manga, Hundreds of years pass after we last see 42 year old Shinra. So the montage of all the Soul eater characters at the end takes place 800 years after Fire Force's ending.

It's so interesting seeing how both Fire Force and Dr. Stone first broadcast in the same year and had their last episode in the same year. I hope Bones considers doing a remake of Soul Eater, they did FMAB excellently, they'd do this great too.
