I find it absolutely poetic that A-train dies because he doesn’t want to do the same thing he did to Huey in the first episode. IMO A-Train BECAME a real hero in the end and being a guy Homelander considered pathetic throughout the series, still he dies laughing in his face after attacking the one thing Homelander has and cares most about being his ego.

Oh my god man. What a fantastic character arc for A-Train. Whole show started with him being a dickhead, running into Hughie's girlfriend and killing people. In the end, not only did he save Hughie's life, but he also made sure not to make the same mistake by running into the girl. That act got him caught and ended his life, but it also redeemed him. S4 was a little sus because of the writer's strike (probably the weakest season of the show) but this was a great premiere. I'm hoping this show ends with a bang quality-wise.
