Excited to watch this arc with the crew and everyone as its def a top contender. These couple of episodes kind of sped through the beginning material to get to the meat of it, which I have no complaints about. In the LN they struggled against the Oran Bears for quite a bit and even the 'sand time' mystery if I remember took a while too, but for the adaption I think having back to back rapid deaths and then getting the 'plot' started a bit faster works very well, especially if that time is allocated back to the other half where the plot does actually need to take its time. I'll always expect cut content but as long as the main story beats are still in tact, I trust the White Fox team to do their thing.

Yo putting a switch on a needle is crazy work. Subaru seemed to have entered a CoD domain expansion during the needle gun sequence. You have spatial manipulation, a watchtower, and a sniper wielding a gun with a sure-hit effect. Yeah, that sounded funny to me too 😂 In the Crunchyroll subtitles which they're watching, Beatrice says, "Grr, I say," so Roshi said, "Ya, grr?" but it just came out as, "nYa grr?" because he had his mouth closed when he started speaking and he didn't put a space between the words. "Grr, I say," is a pretty funny line, so it makes more sense that he's saying that rather than dropping the hard R.

I don't blame Subaru for being so dumbfounded when he got sniped the first time. He died instantly, so it could have been anything that killed him. I guess he figured it was a sniper, so he had the party move diagonally to give them a harder shot.

yeah i know right, a chair with wheels is so difficult to create that they didn't start using them until the 6th century IRL, so how could they be using them in a high magic multi race society where one of the most famous people in the world is known as a Sage who knows everything, who they are going to visit... we must question wheelchairs instead of the sudden trust they have in Subaru's hunches, that timeline-wise, to them he extremely rarely has these hunches because time always resets and he's never done that kind of thing before. but wheelchairs blow my mind!!!!!!!!!!

Small moments left out but yeah, Subaru assists with those minor modern things. Last season, when they were running from Regulus and Emilia did the ice skates out out of her ice, that was Subaru too. He helped her train with those ‘icebound arts’ The anime unfortunately makes Subaru seem less competent than he is simply because we don’t hear his thoughts and inner monologues explaining some things

Yeah that answer was aggressive lol honestly a lack of wheel chairs in a society that has access to healers that can rez or heal from pretty brutal injuries, it’s not like there are a ton of paralyzed individuals. Safe to assume in this kind of setting if you were inured to the point of paralysis and did not have access to a healer to reverse that you were probably going to die anyway.

Pretty good of course, the Animation Quality is Insane, but a Lot of Details and Internal Dialogue got cut out of course. That sadly happens with every Adaptation, or else they would never become finished. ------------> But if you desire EVERY important Detail you need to read the LN or at least check out the Manga, but the LN is the best way to experience it fully.
