I low-key hope Daniel Blake kills B.B. like, don't get me wrong. She's doing the absolute right thing. He is kowtowing to a fascist, but I need there to be some consequences for the way she moves. Which is so sloppily, and I would hate the idea that a character like Daniel, who has so much potential as an overarching villain down the line, would be taken out because he was a simp. It really frustrates me that Daniel still interacts with her, especially after she actively tried to screw him over with the mayor garbage fiasco last season. And he still had dealings with her even now. He suspected that she was the fake Fisk character at the beginning of the season, so he knows she can't be trusted. Even if everyone involved will deny it, and even though its inspiration has been taken from storylines in the comics, Wilson Fisk is a Trump parody, and the writers clearly show their disdain for Trump and his administration. I hope they're able to put their personal feelings aside and write compelling enough characters who are shown to be completely capable at their jobs. This is a guy, in Wilson Fisk, who had control of the FBI, who had them as his personal gang doing what he wanted. I refuse to believe that they were unaware in some way, shape, or form of what BB has been doing. I also don't want her to be the linchpin in taking him down.

It's a major flaw that I wish more series poked at. Heroes that keep letting villains get away with zero real repercussions drive me up the wall. "Trust the system!" MF that system has these monsters confidently walking into "trials" teeming with corrupt judges all taking bribes and BSing with witnesses that can all be threatened into giving whatever testimony the villains need to get what they want. And every time they always end up tossing these criminal masterminds into compromised prisons/asylums that they either end up breaking out of in a week or running their entire operation out of for months straight until they finally get out and start running for political positions. We need more Villain-Killers that can hit the heroes with: "Aight you didn't kill this Villain, now he and his organization went on and crippled/killed/worse XYZ amount of innocent people just trying to live their lives. Did the system they're supposed to trust save them?"

Series mention the no-kill-rule all the time yes, and many of them even play around with anti-heroes/psycho-villains that go around hunting down bad guys. But I have yet to see a single show/series where those people don't eventually get written into being wrong as well. I'm talking about getting stuff where it's shown to be the objectively right and moral thing to do killing mass murdering pure-evil Villains because otherwise they'll just get thrown right back into a corrupt system that'll see them waltzing about free to ruin more lives in no time. The only things we get currently are anti-heroes that are complete pariahs to the public even though they're the only ones actually solving exceptionally serious issues that "The System" is unable to deal with because every level of government is compromised by widespread corruption.

I partially agree except for the part about not killing cash cows. Those villains only became cash cows after repated appearances none of them were believed or icon on their debut.
