the ruby aqua thing is funny and weird but I'm glad the show acknowledges that it IS weird literally right after, and outright says that ruby is mostly just leaning on aqua/her doctor as a crutch or a mental pole for her to literally be stable for during a very tumultuous time of her life. plus it's been established for awhile that neither of the twins are exactly uh, normal in the head lmao People like to meme on the whole thing understandably so, but it does funnily enough genuinely make sense in the context of the story to an extent. The literal ending of this episode is the exact chapter I stopped reading the manga for unrelated reasons, and I have heard a lot about the final season, we'll see how the anime handles it. This adaptation has only gotten better and better each season, so I'm curious how it'll go next season.

The dynamic is definitely questionable but I’m personally SOOO happy Ruby got that closure for herself in Aqua, vice versa for Aqua too even tho Ruby definitely needed it more. Now it just makes me so excited to see how they are going to work together from now on , and how locked in they are going to be on finding their Dad. The hour finale was definitely needed I loved every ep this season TYSM ROSHI ❤️

exactly, a lot of people ask why aqua doesn't push her away more or be more firm with her. the guy knows exactly what she's been through and who she is, he's just letting her be to let her enjoy herself from an objective standpoint, it's probably not a good idea for aqua to enable her but it makes sense why he would do so from his POV.

I see it that way- Sarina is a 29 year old woman and Gorou is in his late 30s/early 40s, which is a pretty common age gap especially among celebrities, who just happens to have their consciousness transferred into these two bodies,viz, Ruby and Aqua. Aqua has ever loved only two women, Ruby happens to be one of them. and Sarina deserves happiness.

I obviously fully agree with the weirdness of the incest, trust me everyone hated it but the weirdos when it happened in the manga. I will say tho, excluding the incest part that reveal was amazing. And it makes me really happy that the two of them finally made up, it was so horrible seeing them constantly fight and being bitter towards each other, specially knowing who they were. But yeah, this is the final stretch, and i really hope they do a good job at it. I actually stopped reading right here, i really hope they don't fuck up the ending. Now, not knowing what happens after this, i am still worried, specially cuz a lot of people kinda don't pay attention to what Akane says about the script, about it "lacking" something

Though Aka Akasaka was in the driver's seat for Oshi No Ko, he spoke often about how writing ONK was a collaborative process with the illustrator, Mengo Yokoyari. Mengo writes her own stories too and is known for creating some especially horned up stuff. Apparently, she wanted to bring even more of that energy to ONK and Aka was like nah, we're pumping the brakes. Makes me wonder who actually thought of this part of the storyline.

Idk I don’t remember when she exactly appeared but the girl his dad killed just died and this girl has spoken to aqua and ruby previously so it can’t be the blue haired girl. But it does feel like the author didn’t want to delve too deep into the supernatural aspects of the show and keep it more grounded so they retconned whatever she was supposed to be. And just made her a reincarnation the same as the other two but she knows entirely too much information about their lives and what happened to them so it makes no sense how she was always a real girl lol.
