This feels like a weaker version of the memory stealing. Or that it might affect subaru diff being isekai'd, because he doesn't seem to have died given emilia and b were looking for him. Its because Julius wasn't near Ana in Season 3 when Echidna took over Ana's body and at same time Julius lost his name so everybody acts differently around him but Subaru and since Subaru notices dialect changes due to her background being japanese-like he is able to tell easily since Ana uses certain Japanese dialect and Echidna does not.

Im not sure if its okay to basically spoil it since they will never adapt the SS anyway that ties into this arc. Since anybody who read the SS automatically would know who's white doves those are which only proves further "that person" has been watching Subaru this entire time, guiding him to making sure hes progressing. I think they will do this arc justice given the studio's track record with rezero. This is HYPE cause I never though the anime would get this far when reading it. Julius is gonna take suburu losing his memories hard if you think about it they just came to an understanding of each other last episode. Then this episode they got into an argument over Subaru keeping information from him to protect him. He’s justified in feeling a type of way but now Subaru the only person who he respected and remembered him no longer knows who he. He took comfort in knowing someone remembered him now he can’t even have that.

Idk if its really a spoiler because I think it was cut content from previous seasons, but the white birds were created by Pandora who we first saw back in season 2s flashbacks. She uses the birds to basically spy on subaru and keep tabs on basically everything. The birds appear a decent bit in the previous season, they even appear i the original trailer for season 1. Kinda crazy ngl
