Funny thing Clone Wars does kind of hint about Maul and knowing Anakin. He just doesn't know Vader is Anakin. Lupa catch up. Also the helmets canonically are the reason storm troopers can't hit shit. I really wanted to see them watch Ashoka survive Order 66. Those episodes were crazy

I’ll say it again they really need to find a time slot for the clone wars all their upcoming reactions don’t even compare spider noir, punisher, Devil May cry I am 1000% sure no one will complain if they took one of those shows off for clone wars since the series would bring three times as much viewers, as all three of those shows combined.

Darth Maul did speak in Episode One, when he was with Darth Sidious on Corusant. SOOOOO with the Clone Wars content (plus Rebels because after seeing this show, I know what happens in Rebels as far as what occurred there, not gonna spoil it if they plan on watching that show too). I mentioned that the Bad Batch is another watch as well, BUT that one focuses more so on the Clones and what happens to them during the transition from the Republic to the Empire.... ALSO there's some tid-bits of some characters like Ahsoka that appear in The Tale of the Jedi, a mini-series... Rest assured Roshi, if they made THREE Seasons of the Bad Batch, they'll make another season of Maul. After rewatching this episode, and another spin-off movie, I realized something: it now made sense that they're-potentially-leading into Solo (the Han Solo movie released back in 2018-ish) because Drydan Voss does show up there, as well as Maul showing up at the end of the movie talking to someone...

Maul knew of Palpatine's plot to use Anakin. But everyone in verse just assumed that anakin died after the clone wars. So there was kinda no way for maul to know of vader's existence.

If you guys haven't read the Darth Bane trilogy by Drew Karpyshyn, I highly recommend it. Feels like something that could easily be adapted into an animated Star Wars series someday. Just my opinion, but the story is really good.

Star Wars nerd here. I think I can speak for most of the Star Wars people here when I say we’ve been super happy with the once a week Star Wars content over the past few weeks. So here is a wonderful idea for you. You know that we all want you guys to watch Clone Wars, Rebels, Tales of the Jedi, etc, and D-White’s excuse is that “OMG IT’S SO LONG”. Let’s be honest, a terrible excuse, calling a good show “too long” is like refusing a paycheck because there are too many numbers on it. Idea: We already have Korea Fridays & Movie Wednesdays. Why not Star Wars Thursdays? Plus if you guys are planning to watch Ahsoka Season 2 it’ll give you guys so much lore and make you go “OOOOOH”. If you really wanted to you could even charge an extra $1 (or w/e) for the content like you did with $2 for the movies. I’m pretty sure most Star Wars people here would be okay with paying an extra $1 per month for 2 episodes per week or 3 or 10, whatever floats the boat. You could even make an extra tier if you want so if people don't care about Star Wars they don’t have to pay the extra $1. Anyways that's the idea, back into the depths of lurking I go. We will turn you guys into Star Wars nerds!

Idk, EU books had a lot of stinkers. Even now the NJO series is still polarized. Disney Canon has some good ones. The new Thrawn books really expand and flesh out Thrawn. Alphabet Squadron and the Rougue One related books like Catalyst have been interesting reads.

Maul had like 2 lines of dialogue in episode 1 and technically Dooku was the next apprentice of Darth Sidious THEN it was Anakin. But yeah I really think Clone Wars is worth the watch if you want Jedi and Sith content. Y'all don't even need to watch every single episode. There has been reports of Disney thinking of retconning the Rey shit. But yes since Dave Filoni took over the entire Star Wars franchise I do think he will do a better job going forward. I know people have mix feelings about him, Yes he is a bit wishy washy on live action stuff but the animation stuff he does have hands down. People also have to think that with the live action stuff he also had people above him telling him to do stuff.

What I love about Anakin/Darth Vader is that his fight style is literally just “Imma f**k you up by any means necessary”. He be using his hands to punch while he fights. Then even in the OG trilogy he does that thing where he just uses his lightsaber like a bat and just repeatedly hits his opponent. Then for anyone who has seen clone wars he has gone so far to drop his lightsaber willingly and decide to do the job with straight hands. Vader is a MENACE.

if you want a fun Star Wars game I always recommend force unleashed to people. Maul actually does stuff in this show that reference the main character of that game (who isn’t and honestly can’t be canon unless heavy nerfed cause he is absolutely busted). Also I recommend clone wars, and some of rebels if you want more good Star Wars.

am i the only one kinda pissed of at them having to bring vader into this? rogue one did some permanent damage, now every "good" star wars thing needs 50 fanservice vader moments... as if a guy who could be defeated by a shotgun is this intimidating. we get it. its badass. but theres no stakes in this when you constantly dangle these characters whos stories already been told in our face.... the fight wasnt elevated by vader that much. we already had sick as fights beforehand. daki dying was predictable anyhow and i get maul was waiting for the right moment but it felt more stretched out than it needed to be. i loved this first season but it does have a few minor issues, like them constantly walking from A to B to C and every time they walk as if they're strolling on their beach vacation, not like theyre being chased by a threat. but star wars ratio of inventing new characters could not be lower anyways and its been like this ever since the original trilogy. they kill of the characters that are interesting but keep the annoying toy selling headahh bad comedic relief dude alive???????!!!! WHY??? literally anyone was more interesting than the guy whos entire concept was that hes annoying because he never stops talking- thats his entire joke. theres way better ways to ease the tension than this. again visually this finale was sick but the plot stinks and the fact that i can already see people getting their panties in a twist over me saying this is just so disappointing, common guys theres so much great here, they also could have tightened this up a lot more. but again this is what happens when youre entire IP is an never ending, Ouroboros ass, legacy character, self suck/circle jerk and even in this show its unfortunately visible. the moment you go away from maul and other pre-existing characters, the narrative constraints would all be gone but NO lets chose characters whos fate we already know! over and over and over! and btw maul coming back is cool but sabine in ahsoka or whatever her name was isnt okay? being chopped in half vs stab wound btw....

Plus, looking back on the amount of episodes MHA has, The Clone Wars has even a slightly shorter episode count than the MHA show (the latter having 171 episodes, while TCW having 133 episodes). Now granted, the extra series, like Rebels, The Bad Batch, etc. has extra episodes to add to the lore of the show, but overall is actually pretty amazing considering the improvements done to the Clone Wars animation starting with Season 7 onwards.

Nigga… CLONE WARS. This is literally what the show is, art style and everything. Now obviously the earlier seasons are outdated having come out in 2008 but it gets better as the show goes on, plus it introduces Ahsoka and brings back Maul and turns him into a character that never spoke in the movies to what you see now
