Middle child has a good idea but a core part of it is probably what's going to lead to the issue with it(my goat kaladin has a similar ideal). "Those chosen with power should use that power to peacefully govern the world". It's not a "bad" idea but it tends to put too much power in one faction of people and leads to corruption in the individual. Where as the version kal goes with is "people with power have the aptitude to serve others". Similar principle, but the key factor being for the good of people besides yourself rather than the community as a whole. When you start to view yourself in the people you are trying to save you open up the opportunity to reduce the people you need to save down to "yourself". If your goal ignores yourself you deny the opportunity for corruption(it does have it's own issues tbf, exp with the idea of who saves/helps the savior).

Essentially i feel like the middle brother might go down a route where it becomes too much to protect everyone at the cost for the people with power and at that point he will choose the people with power as the ones capable of protecting to begin with, losing the purpose of the protection to begin with.

Roshi, before you pull that trigger, there’s no guarantee that Seal can be acquired the exact same way as Break now that Break is released. Right and Left have said that Break and Seal have never been active at the same time. So the most likely scenario is that once one is acquired, the methods to get the other change somehow, and nobody knows how.

Roy Mustang also had ties to a Bar/Host Club of sorts in FMA. Madam Christmas aka Chris Mustang was his adoptive mother and he had a bunch of "older sisters" he grew up around iirc. I like the easter eggs the author has been doing. Another one is Gabby being called a Shrimp, having shoulder length golden-blonde hair in a braid, wearing a red cloak, and having injuries from the first encounter in the village to her right arm and left leg (Same as Ed)

I see him as like a less extreme version of Geto, he doesn't want to get rid of the people without powers but he thinks those with powers should be in power to watch over society, but like you pointed it could lead to a scenario where he might prioritize those with powers over those without powers.

Based upon what we know Asa was given a choice to die or come back with the power, it seems to me that people don't know its a choice besides the twins themselves, the ones that died before maybe chose to not take the power.

Left was the one who said sometimes people just die. She would know more about how it works as her whole job is to counteract Seal. She’s been around for hundreds of years as well so I assume she’s seen instances of a twin dying on purpose intending to get the power and then not coming back

The problem with Kaladin’s approach is that it forces those with power to be nothing more than servants to those without. A figurehead. A slave with a fancy headpiece. And it still doesn’t guarantee that there won’t be corruption. It just won’t be at the top, where everyone is watching. I won’t deny that there is a measure of service involved in ruling, but ruling only has meaning when the one wearing the crown actually is ruling. If everyone else is making decisions for them, then there’s no point in claiming that title.

Left and Right themselves have said that there’s never been a point when Break and Seal were in play at the same time. So it’s likely that there’s a catch somewhere in claiming the second power once the first was acquired.

yuru is pretty much like Alphonse design wise, but since we don't really see his human body in a non malnourished state for like 98% of the story it's a bit harder to recognize

I'll say it once and I'll say it again. Arakawa is a god of pacing and character writing. The conversations are just so damn interesting that it doesn't feel like all that's happened in 8 episodes is coming down a mountain and jumping across town to chill with the sis for a day lmao.

Yeah, leaving the crazies alone is a very bad idea. Plus, the only way to do that is to blockade Higashi and stop everyone from entering or leaving. So you’re basically laying siege to the village, and killing everyone that purposely tries to get in. It’s still a war.

Well, it was explained that Left & Right are supposed to be used to control Break & Seal in case it's misused. Them being in the hands of one who can control one of the powers causes as imbalance. Also, it poses the question: if Yuru dies to try to acquire the power of Seal, will he lose his daemons?
