It was pretty weak.. However LIKE Daredevil getting new show when Disney bought the rights from Netflix. Same should have happened here for Punisher and if this was first episode of the seaso. It would've been more successful. So far, nothing new was added, no arc, nothing for the audience to learn regarding Frank character, no interesting villian. Instead we got meh action scene. Very average..

Your mileage may vary but Marvel should still try more things like this. Everyone doesn't need (or deserve) a whole series, sometimes a one-shot works better. Can't have us care about characters when they are just dropped off in movies for like five minutes. Punisher will always work in the greater Marvel universe, just don't overexpose him

I loved this 2nd season of Daredevil, everything was great except for the Dr. Heather parts but Bullseye, to me, ran away with the season. This presentation was basically felt like a comic issue that solely is the aftermath arc before they get back into the hero’s next arc with a different purpose. It’ll lead up to a new purpose of Frank being The Punisher but is no longer using his vengeance filled with rage for his own personal gain but now will use it to help others who need him in the city/world which is why he’s mentally struggling with who he is and what’s next now that his vengeance for his family is practically done and was thinking maybe it’s time for his death now until his daughter consciously told him not yet.

I know Roshi is complaining about the thugs rushing towards the punisher with guns but I’ve seen tons of shootings in the inner-cities and the hood and unfortunately 1 in person. personally, i had no idea who those people were when they were doing the flashbacks and most of it felt like a retcon. It also felt like a full season of TV condensed into a 45 minute episode because it was cancelled or something. Also he already got most of his family's killers, and any that were missed felt like they were introduced in this special just so it could exist.

I think the interpretation of “One last kill” would be Frank himself. Like the final kill he does to end the torment is to kill the tormentor himself. Which is truly poetic, but that’s my interpretation of it

There’s nothing wrong with this movie except one little face swap (because the rest of that stunt falling on the AC unit was practical with a stunt man) that lasts all of a frame or two. This special ain’t winning any Oscars, but if that’s what you’re showing up for you’re in the wrong place anyway. It was good. It was fun. It was well acted, had good action, and a tight, if simple, story. It was all it needed to be.

Ok man... yes there are heroes in NY, yes Queens is part of NYC, but we are out by Jamaica Hospital in this show/movie... that shit is knee deep into geographic Long Island. Spider-man isn't regularly or conveniently swinging from Manhattan to Long Island City to rego park or forest hills, to see whats happening in kew gardens or richmond hill. Unless there is a hero that lives there OR is always subway surfing for funsies in the area, ain't nobody coming to help people regularly.
