gotta remember that they are in a dark ass cave. The cape spell thing actually does hide euini in there, and even when he isn't in the dark, you would only see a dark mass rather than some extreme version of blackface, so it would be an even more busted way to hide his motions while drawing.

If Richeh and Euini end up as a couple as adults, they might stand a chance of having a child with normal-length bangs 😭 But on a serious note, I really love that this show takes pains to communicate that the magical world is really not kind to the disabled (whether that's physical, behavioral, or mental health), and by extension anyone who is "out of the box" in general -- despite that, the main crew is all about accommodating everyone and growing together. Really beautiful worldbuilding.
