They're not wrong, webtoon got axed cause the author thought it was a good idea for one of the buillies to say the nword towards a dark skinned character. I have absolute no idea HOW and WHY a studio decided it was a good idea to turn the webtoon into a kdrama but atleast it's not a 1 to 1 adaption.

Okay this is silly while i get wanting to enjoy the show and the controversy shouldnt affect that but yo still u should not be calling the author my nigga dont be a clown. The author still was pushing some weird shi Ive read the series and theres more bs than what the other person mentioned and this isnt the first time for that author. And theres a difference between jackie chan a comedian using race for comedic jokes and storytelling and just endorsing racism. The controversy is based off a very real thing that needed to be addressed.

I'm so happy Korean Vince McMahon decided to listen to Chang-sik and Su-chan about Se-ri being alive. I really thought they were going to kick that can down the hill a little bit more, but I'm glad we're finally on the path to getting her back. The series has been moving at a pretty brisk pace in my opinion, especially given the length of each episode.

I think old Seri was very very bitter, sad, angry, and lonely but would just channel it all into work, essentially being a "workaholic" to escape her life (or lack thereof). Then, because she had no one to go home to and nothing to look forward to, she would force her coworkers to work like her as punishment(?) for the fact that they had outside lives whereas she did not. She would frame it all as being, "professional" "logical" or "work-oriented" when in reality it's because she had nothing else. So sad... I look forward to seeing how she changes as a boss if she ever goes back!
