Thank you so much I thought I would have to wait till tomorrow

Laylay

As seen in this episode, Rhaenyra still thinks her three sons and Rhaena are all in the Vale being kept safe with Lady Arryn. But Lady Arryn sent them to Pentos, minus Rhaena of course since she ran off to Sheepstealer. RhaeRhae now wants lil Joffery in Kings Landing because he is now her heir. And on top of that now Daemon will be going to Vale for coin since Lady Arryn did not send soldiers. Daemon is also probably going to find out that they refused to offer his daughter asylum AND mistreated he.

Laylay

Ouuuuu Monday House of the Dragon🐉 🔥🔥🔥

Caleb

thank youuuuuuu

Jay

Roshi! Are yall gonna react to the new Avatar Aang movie coming out on 25th july?

Ghost

The first two episodes were part of last season. This episode is the TRUE START TO SEASON 3 and it wasnt bad at all. Still curious to try and find out why George left them mid season but maybe thats not for me to know. Either way they are cooooooking. Imagine they didnt do that slow burn shit 2nd half of last season.

thenamesdoo

early release?!! i love you guys 🥹

Daritet

I had to check the video play bar a couple times during the first scene. The cold open was so out of nowhere from how the last episode ended and obviously supposed to be the start of S3 before the other two episodes were moved, that I genuinely thought I might have accidentally skipped like 5-10 mins of the episode at the beginning.

KTRB7

Always bet on YaboyRoshi!

Mads

Rhaenyra and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad first week as Queen

Dabossman702

8:46 he’s 10 but Aang is grown man 💀

DeAndre Knight

baela doesn’t know rhaena rides sheepstealer, she didn’t see the rider, only jace did

Metweet .c

Corlys can miss me with the whole bastards thing. You sent your son to marry rhaenerya knowing full well that man only likes bussy lol. She had no choice but to fuck someone

NumiGhost

41:19 Daemon moving to fast, this kingdom is a mess and needs fixing first

OceanPhantom

I got spoiled by twitter so I already knew they switched him why not just make him ride his dragon back with them? It’s an easy way to catch an Impostor

OceanPhantom

Sunfyre lay dead and decaying 🤔

KTRB7

Daemon, you're really not going to confirm if the kid who's the last heir to Aegon to be the real one? In a world where hair bleaching exists? Could have been simple as ordering the kid to give his dragon a simple command. Also, not going to confine the other dragon to the Dragonpit and let the Hightowers keep their nuke? This is my only gripe with this episode. Had to suspend my disbelief. Otherwise, it was truly amazing and enjoyable to watch.

KTRB7

The feedback for season 2 would have been a lot different for sure. My guess why GRRM left is because they're still straying far from the vision of Fire and Blood ie how the events actually played out and the traits of the book characters.

vein

Ormund standing on buissness. Dude seen 3 dragons and still talked shit and played daemon to his face.

jiggyj

y'all gave me rat city to rule over, just got my reds, my huscle yappin bout niggas w wings and whose baby is this..? dracarys fi dat

KTRB7

I swear does anybody on Team black double check anything to be true? there's too much blind faith involved lmao

Dontsop Keran

A kid with a small dragon is way more dangerous than a kid with no dragon

OceanPhantom

And while that is a fair point the queen should already be aware dragons can find new riders her first husband may be dead but it’s an assumption for all we know dragons can bond to multiple I wouldn’t risk a riders dragon in the hands of hightowers who knows what bastard could appear and claim it

DeAndre Knight

They had no idea Daeron was an imposter, so to them it makes more sense to separate the dragon from the rider as they’re pretty much useless without them. Like the Greens did to Meleys and Rhaenys in the first season. The dragon keepers were supposed to transport the dragon, but I assume since Daeron was there they fought back.

Mark Atukwase

Rhaenyra’s pov type of episode ..loved the writing on this episode ❤️

Josh Hargrave

Yeah I've been with Rhaenyra the whole way through for the most part but she did Corlys DIRTY. He has every right to be upset and that is how you make enemies. He's a great guy to be on your side. I mean I do think it's kinda funny how suddenly when Corlys has lost everything he now wants to have his sons be legitimatized lol. Still tho it's messed up on Rhaenyra's part after everything he's done for her.

Skrappy

Corlys claimed his sons 5 minutes ago and Rhaenyra got on the throne 2 minutes ago. She didn't say no she said not right now. Both of them are trippin...

Raymond Terry

Alicient did state in the last season that Daeron has her hair color unlike her other sons. It was a fleeting mention during a talk about him being the only good son she had since he didn't group up in King's Landing.

sol jam

The thing about the small folk as Tyrion and the Tyrells experienced in the books, theatrics can only satiate them for a short time if the root issue it self is not fixed otherwise things will get really ugly. In the main books they quickly fall to religious extremism and militancy and unlike the GOT show you can't blow up one building and make it disappear that way if militants are walking everywhere

KTRB7

100% agree. Rhaenyra is not only being hypocritical (raising her illegitimate son Joffrey to be king while denying legitimization to Adam and Alyn) but also worrying about the optics too much. If anyone tries to come at her, she has 6 dragons to answer with! Plus, you’re really going to antagonize your Hand who’s commanding your main naval force and whose son is one of your main Dragon Riders? Thats wild to me. The whole point of raiding Kings landing and taking the throne by force is to also not people-please all the time. You’re the Queen now ffs with 6 big ass dragons.

Gyomei Himejima

Whole episode felt like an anxiety attack.

Anthony rincon

Alison real son was the dude with the reddish hair, they showed him in episode 1 or 2 believe

KTRB7

It wouldn’t have been a problem if Rhaenyra also legitimized Addam and Alyn. Corlys was ready to accept Lucerys as his heir as he said.

dahlia

Idk if she did corlys dirty she just asked for a bit of time because she need to first secure her position on the throne and get her house in order and strong again but him calling her sons bastards while she still grieving them is to far

KTRB7

Ok, but that can go both ways. Why was Rhaenyra in such a hurry to knight the 3 dragonriders and style Addam as Hull if there were other pressing matters like her own coronation and feeding the people?

Nathan Hale

Yall gotta rewatch the knighting scene Rhaenyra styled him Addam of Hull without asking his opinion unlike Ulf and Hugh

LaTesha

This was a bad week for Rhaenyra. Honestly Alicent stop complaining you went into your marriage with her father knowing damn well that your father and yourself planned to steal Rhaenyra crown. Yea she killed your dad what did you expect. They planned to kill Rhaenyra last season so stop whining Alicent. Also corlys has some nerve do you think now is the time to ask Rhaenyra about your bastards now. All of a sudden her kids are illegitimate but they weren't illegitimate when you sold your son who you and your wife knew would not give her children and spent all his time drinking and sleeping around. Your ambitions failed so now you mad. If rhaenys was still alive she would not have allowed their legitimacy she would have pushed for her granddaughters for driftmark. Talking about I lost everything as if he didn't enter in that marriage with rhaenys and then tried laena with viserys and then laenor to Rhaenyra as if his ambitions weren't as big as Otto's. Her sons just died and you think she is jumping at the chance to legitimize your kids. Wait and stop pushing so quickly.

Jamaal Ellison

This was another great episode I enjoyed, and I can't believe Sarah Hess wrote it. There was one scene I didn't like: "Which ones? Are you going to blame me for everything terrible that men have done?" We get it, lady. Okay, we get it. Other than that, this was a great episode.

vesra

57:43 Nahhh low-and-slow dracarys is NASTY work 😭😭😭

dunk

I get it but he didnt have to try to force her to acknowledge them on her first day when he only acknowledged them yesterday! Let her get comfortable first and get her heir in kings landing. He was doing too much

Jamaal Ellison

I would also like to give a shout-out to The Midnight Boys podcast on The Ringer-Verse channel on YouTube. They had a very interesting discussion about the tensions in the Rhaenyra Targaryen and Corlys Velaryon scene. The gist of it was basically that no matter how badly Rhaenyra wants to be "of the people," when push comes to shove, she will always lean on her Targaryen heritage to get her out of bad situations. It's similar to how some people claim to be "down with the culture," but when push comes to shove and pressure is applied, they revert to what they know. She's more like Daemon than she thinks. When Corlys was needed, he helped Rhaenyra; he legitimized her claim the second she needed him. She basically said it would be a bad look if I helped you, and then we're talking on The Midnight Boys podcast about how true to real life that is in our world.

Jamaal Ellison

There's a little more to it than I just didn't get into because I wouldn't be able to say it right, but I think it would be interesting. Listen if you get a chance.

sol jam

Yeah the world that George built is actually very wild. Westeroes is the least magical place in this world and the further you go the more fantastical it gets. While Danny was in Essos dealing with the salvers YiTi(this world China) was being invaded by an undead king with psychic powers

Nicolle B

They showed the real Daeron in episode 1 I think. He has the same color hair as Alicent.

Tobias O'Hare

THIS PART, she knew what she was supposed to say which is probably why she didnt ask him

Śtórmí X

Okay nice little filler episode

FINALLY we are getting into the real juicy parts of The Dance

Ayanda Mpofu

The amount of stress this episode, FUCK😂.

Ernie

13:30 Patreons demanding Roshi for another show

Adley

It's because they have strayed so far from the book, the characters and events are almost unrecognizable. As GRRM said, this is no longer his story.

PJ Rivera

People who haven’t read the books might start getting it now NONE of those eligible for the crown currently are fit for it. Rhaenyra is too soft and merciful trying to get everyone to like her only to push those most important away because she cares too much about what other people think. She’s also not mentally well too much trauma and stress in a short period of time(Father, miscarriage, 2 sons, aunt, burden of rule, etc). Daemon would be a bloodthirsty tyrant who would conquer and burn the world with an ego so big he truly believes himself to be a god. Aemond is the same wanting to burn the world for how he was treated growing up. Aegon is a loser who never wanted it anyway and is not long for the world. None of these people are fit to rule and they end up screwing the Targaryen lineage over when all is said and done.

KTRB7

That is fair, but then if other matters such as the formal coronation and feeding the people were more important (which they actually are), then why rush to even knight the 3 dragonriders, going out of your way to formally style Addam as Hull, not even asking him what he wanted to be styled as? They didn't each get the full oaths even. After Addam got his Dragon, he bowed to Rhaenyra and only wanted to be in service to her. Seems bizarre to me to not make it priority to truly acknowledge the Dragonriders, her literal ride-or-dies. Then again, the show does a great job of generating conversation and engagement about the characters for better or worse, and that's how you stay relevant.

Jigga Man

Why the clap shirt look like a dick

Diary of a Dragon

Im so thankful I dont have to wait an extra day for this reaction 🙂‍↕️🙏🏾 Also, yall forgot that Daemon is Baela and Rhaena's dad, not Coryls. Coryls is their grandfather. So if Daemon goes to the Vale to collect the coin, he might be the one to discover Sheepstealer's whereabouts and wont let Rhaenyra know its Rhaena. He might even train Rhaena on how to control her dragon.

Ernie

Rhaenyra basically said, you guys freaked out and hoarded all the toiletpaper and pasta. You have not payed your taxes and we shall distribute the rations equally among the hard working citizen.

KTRB7

Which really sucks. Having the original creator be heavily involved with the show seems to be the key to success. That's why AKOTSK is better than HOTD (although HOTD s3 has been overall great so far). That's why Avatar netflix is trash and why One Piece netflix is better than it.

Himindabank

Rhaenyra still out here playin’ game, bro. She gon’ FAAFO.

KTRB7

I'll be sure to check that podcast out thanks for the rec! Also, besides Addam, I get Ulf wanting to be styled as Targaryen was passed off as a joke, but thinking about it, what's actually special about the Targaryens in the show besides their ability to command dragons? Rhaenyra said it herself in the very first episode, and Jace was worried about the Dragonseeds pursuing the throne if they had the chance. I think the knighting ceremony was done in a rush and this would have been a great chance to kick the can down the road and have formal discussions about lands and titles, then knight the 3 later after things are a bit more stabilized.

Ernie

That broke it for me with Rhaenyra! Fuck her. NOW LEGITIMIZE IS A CONCERN TO YOU? The hypocrisy is tangible..

NinaaC

Rhaenyra mad asf looking at not-Daeron bc she can’t believe she didn’t come up with hair dye or a blonde bussdown for her sons😭😭😭

Jamaal Ellison

Part of the reason the dragon tamers abandoned Rhaenyra—which, by the way, I thought they were gone, but when the season began, they were back anyway—was because she was uplifting people who don't respect Targaryen culture. Even two episodes ago, when he was complaining about being knighted, he thought he was going to get a castle. So you basically hired these people and expected them to be loyal based on respect alone. Another thing they were talking about in the podcast was how people have really short memories about the government's hand in our suffering. They do us dirty for a few years, then they drop a stimulus package in our communities, giving us a small pittance, and all is forgiven. Rhaenyra started the blockade that starved King's Landing, and here they're just so hungry and happy to get food that they've completely forgotten. Shout out to Lord Mandalay for calling her out. I'm glad the writers at least acknowledged her part in why the kingdom has been suffering.

Ed

Rhaenyra not legitimizing Corlys' sons is such a bad maneuver. You're away from dragonstone, in kings landing where you're already not sure who's friend or foe. The last thing you want to do is alienate the allies you already have. Keep your friends close.

Kahdeem Suliaman

You forget Rhanys was prisoner with her Dragon when the Greens took over and you see how well that turned out for them. Better to keep a Dragon Rider apart from her Dragon

Kahdeem Suliaman

Alice r to me is innocent remember she misunderstood Viserys before he died and she since been trying to rectify that mistake. She even helped Rhanrya take the throne but is still treated as a prisoner smh. Not only that Rhanrya since day 1 does not heed anyone’s council so I’m not sure why she even asked Alicent for advice just to dismiss her😂 clown behavior

Ernie

Ratcatchers? Just drop some f**** cats in the castle??

targaryan women

Obsessed with how they shoot this episode like a horror movie

Metweet .c

I get corlys being angry, but that was alot of hootin and hollerin for some kids you claimed two business days ago. These are grown men now that he knowingly did not acknowledge. All the while with his, as dr umar would say, his snow bunny, for years while they lived poorly. Rhaenerya just started ruiling two business days ago. BE PATIENT. DAMN! We got fake kids, Rats, we broke, war, bitches are on their periods-WAIT IN LINE SIR! You're the hand, do your job! She ain't even been crowned queen and the disrespect is happening. Because trust, he wouldn't have run his mouth if daemon was there. Argh!

targaryan women

Am i crazy? I feel like rhaenyra do everything right this episode

targaryan women

Yeah rhaenyra is too kind to her hostages

targaryan women

Rhaenyra didn't know they about to play in her face lmao

Ryley Alger-Hempstead

iirc Joffrey is still in the Vale. The plan was to have Rhaena go with the twins (and the dragon eggs) to Pentos

Jamaal Ellison

In the second season, they had a whole 2-minute monologue where it was explained to Alicent what her son Daeron was like because she hadn't seen him in years. She sold him out at the end of the season, even after she talked about how innocent and kind he was. Then, in this episode, she sold him out again. Send her to the shadow realm. Please, I'm sick of her.

Kaykay

I completely understand where Corlys is coming from but like, damn can she have a damn second? she's got so much on her plate right now and he really tryna press her with ts right now? I do think she should get around to naming the sons but imo she's right, her legitimacy and the legitimacy of her heir is most important right now, once she's settled and things are a bit more calm then it would be more appropriate to do the naming (also Corlys acting like he ever gaf about these sons before he lost everything, not that it really matters but it's just funny to me)

Kass

Im dead Corlys been paying his bastards dust for years (all of them i believe he made from being unfaithful to his wife) and now he think he can talk to Rhaenyra crazy like that. I have to laugh.

Ernie

Ulf how will you style yourself? Kardashian, your grace Oh, absolutely not! Jenner, then?

Ernie

Sure, it's arguably a rush but when the people took care of you when you were broke, your priority is to take care of them when you get rich.

KTRB7

I mostly agree with what you're saying. Yeah Alicent has no right to complain about her situation. About Corlys, he already acknowledges Rhaenyra's first 3 heirs are illegitimate, way back in S1. Despite that, he was still ok with making Lucerys his heir. And Rhaenyra obviously didn't have kids, before Corlys arranged Laenor to marry her. The legitimacy issue came after the fact. The naive thought was that despite Laenor being gay, Corlys thought it was just a phase and he would still produce heirs with Rhaenyra when they were married. I agree it was still delusional to expect kids to come out of that marriage without there being major challenges. He also let his ambitions get the better of him constantly. That being said, Baela was actually Corlys' first choice after Lucerys died if you remember, but she said Driftmark should pass to "salt and sea". Why wouldn't Rhaenys push for Alyn's and Addam's legitimacy? Before she died, she saw Alyn and actually was gracious and gentle with him. She even scolded Corlys for never acknowledging Alyn and Addam. After the Gullet, he basically did lose everything except his name and potential heirs. Who else is he going to turn to secure his family name and legacy? And if the argument is Rhaenyra's sons just died, and she is grieving (which is completely true) and plus her own formal coronation and feeding the people is more important, then why did she jump at the chance to knight the dragonriders and style Addam as Hull without even asking him what he wanted to be styled as? Rhaenyra didn't even put legitimization on the table down the line. She worried about the optics only. Corlys was out of line for calling her sons bastards in public just like his brother, Vaemond did, but his reasoning is legit.

Ernie

Rhaenyra moved into the white house and instantly removed BLM from her profile... poor Corlys

Jamaal Ellison

If Rhaenyra brings on Alicent as a member of her small council as her adviser, I can see Lady Mysaria turning on her and siding with the smallfolk.

Joe from Marketing

Alicent and her facial expressions are KILLING me this season 👁️ 👄 👁️

max max

I havent finished yet but THAT SILVER HAIRED LITTLE SHIT ISNT DAERON. wheres his dark HAIR

valiantselene

Roshi said I'm going to put you on slow roast lol

Nick

Rhaenyra looked at that hair like "We could have used dye this whole time!?".

KTRB7

That's actually a very good point. I didn't think of that lmaooo

Jaelyn Mcgee

God if Rhaneyra and Cersei met each other they'd be the worst sort of enabling "besties". Also I agree on the stress in this episode, especially from the score and the way it was shot. speaking of Shot, Rhaenerya loaded the gun and looked directly at her foot as she shot herself in it. Alienating Corlys and the dragon knight that would have more loyalty to him than her is such a stupid move

KTRB7

Never thought of that till now hahaha. Although a lot of the midwives and handmaidens plus other staff would have seen the kids the moment they were born, with black af hair. Going to be hard to explain how it suddenly became pale blonde.

PJ Rivera

(HUGE SPOILERS DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO STAY BLIND) Sunfyre is just in a coma set leaks confirm he gets back up and rejoins the fight he’s just recovering from his wounds

Ira

fake daeron's actor is a trans boy :)

Laylay

Iirc Daemon has had beef with the Vale since he offed Rhea Royce. Which is why he was so happy to go. The Vale meeting isn’t going smoothly is my point.

savage

Fantastic episode, so many things came back around or were paid off from past seasons 😩

troqie

The most interesting part of this episode is Daemon saying "Our children will rule it" but if everything goes right from here on out then their kids would never see the throne... so what you up to Daemon?? 😭

Jaja

I've read Fire & Blood, and once I stopped treating the show as a faithful adaptation, I enjoyed it a lot more.

CentipedeKid

The Pope: We can't make you Queen without the body of Aegon Roshi: Bet

The last thing I want to do on my period is sit on a chair made of swords. I'm taking a mental health day

Heather

You're actually a brain-dead human, he has been her most trusted ally and lost everything to put her on the throne. She is making unnecessary enemies and moving like someone with nosense.

Heather

hair can chane as you grow you know that, my couin hair literally goes from black, to red, to blonde,a s they age and how much they spend in the sun

Heather

No, she can't have a second, no king ever had a second, and it's not gonna be different for the first queen. When you win a war and get your throne, that is the perfect time to reward your allies and soldiers. She is moving so pussy for no reason; it would be harder to do later than now. She's gonna get people to turn on her if she doesnt fix things. Thats how many real-life royals get dethroned.

Heather

what are you talking about ?

Heather

Yes, he has every right to, and what does either of those have to do with each other? Are you slow?

Heather

literally this is girl is so dumb i cant, I didn't see this girl lasting queen for long i wonder how it will end

troqie

When Daemon and Rhaenyra are talking on the balcony he tells her their children will rule the kingdom but if everything goes the way they want from here on out their children will never sit on the throne - Joffrey is the heir to the throne and his lineage would be after him. So Daemon is just out here assuming Joffrey won't make it for some reason lmao

LaTesha

You could have said that without being rude and insulting like the person before you

Whyrie

Rhaenyra looking into that fire at the end, brings me right back to Season 1, the night it all went off the rails and her father is looking into the flames drunk talking that nonsense to Alicent. 😂

Rabadan422

You guys misunderstood Baela didn’t see who was on Sheepstealer. It was Rhaena that realised midway through that it was her sister and moon dancer present and Jace who died who saw while diving that it was a rider, whether he realised it was Rhaena or not I’m unsure.

Mr

If roshi was king he would of had ormund flesh falling of the bone like Mr tendernism

Alexxis garcia

Wait cause Corey’s didn’t gaf about his sons just one season ago, he literally had to lose everything as well as be rejected by baela to even care 😩

Śtórmí X

How tf they see that plot twist at the end with daerion 😭😭was it that obvious?

KTRB7

Sure, but how would someone explain the infants having black hair when Laenor has Velaryon white hair and Rhaenyra had pale blonde hair lol. I know it isn't that deep but still.

KTRB7

As the episode went on, yeah it was more obvious to me at least. I must have said "bro that's not Daeron" like 5 times before the actual reveal lol

Himindabank

lol the red-head from last episode is the real Daeron. He doesn’t even have silver hair.🤣

Amori

Addam was expecting to be named Velaryon he didnt say Hull

Shay Peart

We also have to understand if she legitimatized his sons right now it will reflect bad on her. Plus, if he knew his other son was alive or if he still had everything he had before the war, would he want to legitimize them, no. Her husband claimed her sons even when he knew they weren't his.... Corly's sons are his and he never gave a damn.... like he could have waited until they got the court situation under control before discussing it like damn.... and yes, I know she could've said yes to keep allies, but that just makes her look weak. Basically, saying because you know her secrets you can bully her into doing what you want

Jazz Rivers

I don’t think Corlys would be AS pissed if the white kids he let appropriate his name ain’t get low-diffed 😂😂😂 Remember all he cared about was what the history books were going to say.

Megan_Leggin

Low-key understand Rhaenyra denying Corlys' sons (for now!) Not only does she have slightly more pressing matters at hand, but lets also remember that Ulf was denied calling himself a Targ. It would look just as bad to her knights if she allowed Addam to be legit but not them. Opens a whole can of worms for Rhaenyra and any targ bastards that want to be recognized and become threats to her claim. Not saying it's fair, but I understand Rhaenyra's thinking in that moment. Not to mention, purely from the point of view of how it all works in Westeros (to my understanding) Rhaenyra's kids were "legally" born under Laenor's name. They were rumored to be bastards but were not by law. Addam and Alyn were born and recognized as bastards and lived away from Corlys. Again, I don't personally agree but it makes sense that Rhaenyra would be against it for the time-being.

Childish

addam didnt have a chance to answer. she named him "of Hull"

G A H I

So glad Roshi ain’t a ruler in that era. Bro got creative and said all punishment shall be death rotisserie chicken style 😭😭😂

dunk

What a polite way of saying bad writing that pisses everyone off enough to fight online about it

dunk

Was sunfyre Aegons dragon?

Delinda Arts

fucking hilarious post convo lmao

Delinda Arts

Rhaenyra I'm rooting for you shawty, but you on sus watch after playing in Corlys' face like that.

Tasi T

Corlys is always asking for something. He tried to get Viserys to marry a 12 year old Laena so she would become queen. He tried to haggle Laenor and Rhaenyra's heir's last name to be Velaryon when they came into power. Now, after 30+ years and having lost everything, he wants to finally acknowledge his "illegitimate" children as his own. For him to say he put everything on the line for Rhaenyra's cause is a little disingenuous. This is really just Corlys being Corlys - obsessed with his own legacy. Corlys, babygirl, you gon have to wait your turn.

Samuela Shannon

I get where Rhaenyra is coming from with her decision not to legitimize Corlys in that moment. I really wasn’t with it just like you guys until I was basically reminded that if he didn’t lose everything, he would not have recognized his sons, but also there is still very much the scrutinizing of her own kids legitimacy and people not taking her that seriously because she lied to everybody’s face for their entire childhood. If she goes ahead and legitimize his two bastards in another powerful house what would honestly stop her from legitimizing Hugh and Ulf as heirs to the throne? There would be no other reason except their parents are not alive to ask for it. So in this moment, she has to settle herself as queen and let the kingdom see that she can be trusted before she makes such a life-changing decision. Also, she told him she just can’t do it right now.

Tre

Good thing roshi dont got a dragon cause that roshi justice will have you slow roasting for 36hrs if he get his hands on you

Sheraya san

Because she is technically still in war cuz Aegon and Aemond are not captured under her yet. As far as I can tell

Sheraya san

It’s funny cuz corlys JUST recognized his bastards while rhaenerya always fought for hers and he tried to equate it as the same. She knighted them, it’s not she’s ignoring them. We all can lose if u dont wanna be understanding and he didn’t hesitate to call them her sons bastards the second he started caring abt his bastards huh? Hypocrisy on his end too. Book corlys would never

meeran haq

The issue with amazing fantasy stories and in turn (hopefully) their adaptations is that, as a fantasy lover, nothing is enough. I need shows of ALL of this man, Aegon the Conq, Valyria and the Doom. The birth of the White Walkers (not just the Night King) and what they be doing in that castle. Everything man.

Tae

What? How are we blaming alicent for being forced to sleep with an old man and being manipulated by her father?

Tae

I feel so weird about haelena. Like girl, this woman killed your son as far as you know. Beheaded him. And youre mad about your room? What are we doing. Show emotion

LaTesha

It is her father's fault that she ended up married to viserys there is no doubt about that all fault lies with him for using her as a pawn. She couldn't do anything about it at the time because of her age and she knew her purpose of going to his room was to force a marriage like her dad wanted with the king. But alicent is not that naive girl anymore. She has had years and time where she understood what her father was doing and still went full force toward the whole let's take Rhaenyra crown schemes with her whole chest. She has had ample time to change course and use her higher position as she should have for Rhaenyra to be crowned queen. She just did it now when she lied to everyone to make it easier for Rhaenyra to take the keep. Now she is looking at Rhaenyra in the face and getting upset that she ordered the death of her father who she knew was committing treason. Yes be upset thats still your dad but there wasn't any way for him to survive his crimes. If the shoe was on the other foot Rhaenyra and her whole family would have been put to the sword. Letting her and helaena go off into the sunset just isn't feasible when they are still actively at war and her sons are still out there. Alicent knows this. Keeping them as comfortable as possible is the best they could hope for while still solidifying her claim.

Nah Corlys may have a point but he’s also wrong. He didn’t care about his bastards until like a week ago 😭🧐 guaranteed if Lucerys and Jace were alive he would not be in no rush to legitimize them. Also added to the fact JACE AND BAELA WERE THE ONES WHO FLEW OUT TO HELP HIM DURING THE GULLET???? He was disrespectful I don’t care. Rhaenyra was forced to have bastards because he pushed his gay son onto her, HE had bastards because he wanted to cheat on Rhaenys with some woman on his ship 🙄 yeah he lost some ships and his castle but she literally lost her son who died helping HIM??? He was out here trying to make Baela his heir before he even thought of Addam and the other one and has admitted plenty of times he was ashamed of them 😭⁉️

Tae

Autistic people still have feelings even if that's the case...

B23

Tumbleton is where Hugh’s wife is :((

john segun doe

Yo Sheera and Roshi, Y'all know that fake Daeron actor is actually a boy. Im dead lmaooo

john segun doe

Are you serious? lool you can't tell she is like autistic... HOW?? That actress is killing that role of haelena

john segun doe

I realized when Alicent walked in and showed very little emotion

Freeofgreed

Thank you. It's driving me crazy how many people keep defending Rhaenyra on social media who were asleep during this scene.

Kris Barnes

Also we saw Daeron in episode 1 standing behind Lord Ormund and he has reddish hair.

Kris Barnes

No, Rhaenyra didn’t ask Addam how he wanted to be styled. She asked Ulf and Hugh and then just immediately called him Addam of Hull before he could say anything about wanting to be a Velaryon. She snaked him and Corlys just for her own benefit

Jamarion Rich

One thing I can say is that while she should have named them, I get why she didn't. There is literally way too much on her right now, the greens left the kingdom in shambles, and daemon is putting the cart before the horse.

Adrian Locke

Corlys damn near drowned & came back with his kufi on THAT WHITE BOY IS NOT MY BLOOD

Mxri

2:08 what a badass bitch.

Mxri

4:03 WHAT hair system is THAT?!!

I_Do_Editz _And_Stuff

I can see Rhaenyra denying to legitimize Alyn and Adam being her downfall. I don’t think she realizes that if she end up at war with Corlys, he’s taking TWO of her dragons (Moondancer and Seasmoke) with him AND he’ll have sheepstealer bc I highly doubt he’s gonna let ANYTHING happen to rhaena, so it’ll be his 3 dragons against hers (and she might be losing even more dragons bc daemon treats Ulf like shit) Corlys ls also gonna take what’s left of his ships, his navel force (which I’m sure is still more than what Rhaenyra has even with the losses they took in the battle of the gullet) She’ll lose a trustworthy hand in Corlys (when she knows she can barely trust anyone on her counsel) And above all else SHE’S BROKE😂In this moment she should really be listening to daemon bc who cares what anyone else thinks you have 6 dragons atm she’s care to much abt the people opinion and on top of tht I doubt anyone would look at her sideways for legitimizing Adam and Alyn. If anything she should’ve done it as soon as she found out they were his sons considering that Corlys does so much and is such a valuable asset to have on your side. There’s also no telling what allies he has across the sea. The man is a LEGEND in the sea world and she might’ve just made him enemy #1. Rhaenyra seems to forget tht while the dragon riders may serve her, the dragons are loyal to the riders and they will go wherever they do.

Ahmed14

sorry but the shape on Lupa's shirt distracts me

Jacob Livingston

Only Jace saw it was rhaena on sheepstealer nobody else knows.

Jacob Livingston

On first I watch I didn’t understand why rhaenyra didn’t just legitimize them. However you have to see it from her point of view as well. She has already made 3 bastards dragonriders. Plus legitimizing them it will make it seem like she is admitting that joffrey Jace and Luke were bastards. Corlys literally just recognized his sons as his own. He could have given her time to do it. There is already so much she has to deal with it. I get both of their povs on the situation. Corlys should have waited and let her do it at a later time though. She’s in a terrible dilemma.

T2M

Dude season 3 is insane, the writer are cooking so hard jesus christ

Jacob Livingston

That wasn’t a girl 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭

mysterioussfox

Tessarion broke the 4th wall lmao just like Jim. "Who even is this?!" ahaha

Marcus J.

nah my guy said turn him into a brisket

Daniel Oky

Book Corlys totally would. Book Corlys told Rhaenyra to her face that she should've died instead when Rhaenys died and they needed to make him Hand of the Queen to keep him from walking out of the war and dropping support. Show Corlys has honestly been showing more loyalty to Rhaenyra at this point.

Victor

I think the point should be why they did not realize Tessarion did not react at all when they took her "rider" away. It was different last time with Rhaenys because they did not let her meet Meleys at all, and tbh, what can a tiny Tessarion could do even if Daeron took her with him? She was too young and small, any of the 3 adult dragons there could make short work of her if she tried something stupid.

Victor

I'll be a party pooper today. I dont like how they changed things from the book and deviated too much. I do agree this first 3 episodes this season were great and all, but so were the Witcher ss1, or some of the episodes in season 6 and 7 of GoT had the highest ratings as well. GoT ss8 was so terrible was not only because the directors suddenly became dumb and dumber, but they introduced so many new plots in previous seasons that they did not have a way to tie them all up. I believe many people also gave this show a try after that terrible ss8 because they had a complete book and a full story to base on, so why did they deviate from the book again? It sounds pessimistic, but if there is one common issue with many shows today, it is that they started great, have good ongoing progress but rarely, almost never ever, stick the landing.

Sheraya san

Damn 1 thing u disagree w and it’s fuck her? It’s so hard to be a woman nvm the fact Corlys was a deadbeat who neglected those same children for 30 years. At least Rhaenerya never abondoned her children.

Sheraya san

Book Corlys wouldn’t and didn’t. Abt the kids and calling them bastards. He loved those kids, that’s what I was referencing. he’s acting like he ain’t a deadbeat…

Sheraya san

Has nothing to do w race

Sam

what kills me is alicent just throwing out the idea that they could lie and say aegon is dead and rhaenyra taking that dumb idea n running with it 😭😭

GigaDirt

I read the books, and I acknowledge that a lot of this is pretty different from the books but I really don't care, they are still doing a great job at least to me and it's peak

Tancho24

Nah this shit is peak. book reader keep crying

NovaVortex

Smoked Ormund is indeed diabolical 🤣

Tae

Clapped once again

Teacupcats

She literally just got on the throne if she legitimized them immediately people absolutely would continue questioning her and even agreeing with her being usurped

Henny

Is you cool? You know almost nothing and are going around insulting people. Girl go read a book.

Henny

Corlys would have NEVER if Daemon was there. I hate a deadbeat dad who tries to care when the kids are adults.

Mark Atukwase

“That’s that chicken you love “ and the face after …oh Sheera😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

dthorizon

Corly's after 20+ years finally chose to claim his sons and he's mad that the Queen won't do so at the very moment he wants it done? Come on...
