Buddy it’s a tv show. Yes it weird. Do not hate the reactors for supporting fake incest. This isn’t real life. Yes it still weird but it’s a TV with WAY MORE ISSUES than fake incest. I know some people don't like him having more than one wife, but personally, I was glad about it. All the main harem anime never have the balls to have anything happen because they don't want to piss off fans by having the MC pick one girl, and they know the shipping wars drive engagement. I loved that Refujin said fuck it and leaned into the genre by actually having a harem. You don't see that outside actual smut. Plus, I like the way it was done. Sylphy was open to the idea from the start of their marriage (Rudy said no and broke his self-imposed promise, though), and Roxy is happy to be included because she feels she took advantage of Rudy after his father's death and after learning of his mother's condition. Norn is pissed because in her religion, you can't have more than one wife, but she didn't mind that her father had two wives because she was born into it. But even Cliff, the literal Milis priest, forgave him. What I'm getting at is that everyone is consenting, and any bad blood can be forgiven. So

I know it's weird because he is reincarnated and was always an adult, but in this world, Rudy is the same age as Slyphy, and the other two are older. What I'm getting is that I judge him based on the values of the world he is in, and no one else has an issue with it. Personally, I'm from the UK, where the age of consent is 16, and I would like to see it raised to 18, maybe even 21. In Japan, the age of consent is 16. Again, I don't agree, but it's a fictional world with an age of consent similar to most countries in the world and the author's home country.
