I’m not gonna lie Sheera I don’t think the lawyer group only being male was indicative of any kind of sexism. A company like E-corp is going to hire the cream of the crop most experienced lawyers and women getting into the profession is relatively recent in terms of when a changing demographic occurred. An elite lawyer team is usually going to be comprised of old heads.

Old guard was what I said. The appeal to incredulity is not appreciated as I said nothing worthy of the disrespect. I addressed the change in demographics, but I assume you noticed that there are exactly 0 young lawyers presented within that scene. The show seems to have a solid grasp on what the corporate infrastructure tends to look like. What that comes with is the fact that for high profile corporations they tend to get older generation figureheads to lead within their legal departments to serve as a main tank of talent while also serving as leadership. You’re a lot less likely to see that be the case for women for a whole multitude of reasons, one of which can be discrimination. This is the point I was trying to make. Not every instance of disparity is a surefire example of discrimination. I already conceded that the show was probably trying to make the same point again. I just wanted to throw in my two cents.

You might be thinking of white shoe law firms, where it is less common for women to be managing partners because the expectation is that you are working 24/7. For in-house legal roles, you see women at all levels and have been for the past few decades now. I can't remember the last time I was at a meeting with more than 3-4 attorneys and there wasn't a single woman - possibly never? By having 11 men the show is unquestionably making a point of it. This would be a serious red flag if you ever encountered it in the real world.

Ya, people who post shit like "can't wait for xyz" have zero ability to extrapolate information from context clues so they can't even begin to understand that it's a spoiler. Any hint, no matter how small, goes toward confirming or denying hundreds of logical flows that all contribute to a conclusion. Any offhand keyword is a confirmation of a who, a what, a when, a where, or a why. Anyone with half a brain who reads what the OP commenter put is being forced to think about what could be hinted at, why it's being mentioned, and are thinking about things they should NOT be thinking about as a viewer until the show itself directs them to it naturally. Everything in this show is deducible with a tiny bit of creative thinking to fill in the gaps. Directly telling people where and when those gaps are prematurely is already asinine by itself. Posting it as an invitation to discussion with fellow negligent yappers is something else entirely
