Alicent and Helaena are in maegors tunnels. Not alot of people( even the royal family) are aware of the tunnels. There are many and they are not all mapped. They have been sealed off in many places though due to the opps of both sides using them to sneak around the castle. As for Daemon he was telling Rhaenyra that they should have burned Ormund when they went to pick up Daeron the first time instead of letting them leave.

Her grief over her sons I understand though she could have been more careful with her command to the city watch, who is known to be ruthless and is now no longer being paid. I am on her side in the whole Ulf situation but alienating someone with that much power isn’t the best move. He’s already walking on eggshells when dealing with the highborn so she should have compromised instead of removing all of his outside friends as well.

Daemon is talking about burning Ormund and his army at that moment in the beginning of episode 3 when he had them at the mercy of the 3 dragons, but instead he settled for having Ormund bend the knee because Rhaenyra wanted as little bloodshed as possible. Had they been burned then, all this fuckery with Ormund in Tumbletown and King's Landing and what may happen in the future would have been prevented.

I think many don't realize in the scene she made Ulf a Dragon Rider a prison and told him he isn't his own person and belongs to her like a slave. Exactly. Her dragon riders are quite literally her most important assets besides maybe Daemon and she’s insulted every one of them. Dragons are THE main symbol of her house’s legitimacy, what seems to make the Targaryens gods amongst men. She’s granted 3 of them to what are basically lowborn strangers and instead lifting them up in any meaningful way for this, she continues to treat them like dirt. Baela is a whole other issue as well.

I doubt the retards Sarah hess and Ryan condal even thought of it until they got to this point, but burning down tumbledown with all its civilians and Lords would likely turn half of rhaenyras supporters against her, logically no one would side with someone who's willing to burn their allies just to get their enemy, obviously the battle of tumbledown likely won't go down how it went in the books cause of all the stupid changes, but I can still see this being the major turning point for rhaenyras downfall, and I'm happy to see the writers finally be willing to show some evil from rhaenyra they've been coddling her and the blacks in general for too long
