Anyways jokes aside, to put into perspective of those unfamiliar, a "Yamato Nadeshiko" is name/term used to refer to an idealized traditional elegant Japanese lady in any form of media (so not just exclusive to anime). A recent non-anime show that you've guys encountered such a character in (or at the very least somewhat close to it), would be home girl from Shogun that was assigned to Blackthorn (not the main girl, the other one). However Naddy here despite having the literal name, doesn't want to be confined to tradition and wants to be her own person free of traditional expectations. There's also a long ass explanation of how "Yamato Nadeshiko" written in kanji (大和撫子) that can lead to things like "kaboi" (cowboy), "ame(ri)ka" (America), "kadai" (homework, because Naddy is a teacher) when certain characters are either rearranged, split etc but we're gonna be here all day if I tried listing it so here's just a short summary of it.

As someone who is fluent in English and can at least recognize basic Japanese and sentence structure picked up from Japanese media, listening to what she is saying and reading the subtitles is a brain melting experience 😭
