From watching the reactions I'm starting to think the three of them haven't realise that the countries are identical to ours, and this is just World War 2. Tanya is in Germany, Mary Sue is American, the Federation is Russia, and the Allied Kingdom is the UK. The guys sneaking in the background negotiating peace are Italy, who were allies of Germany, which is why they called them Macaroni F-ers. Hell, it's the same map as ours. Churchill and Stalin are right there.

It seems to incorporate both WW1 and 2. The Empire is, of course, an Empire as it was in WW1, led by a Kaiser, and making it's way to become a military government. The diplomatic situation also seems to be akin to WW1, with scramblings for peace.. and SPOILER: Much later when germany sinks america's ships and they join the war, just like ww1

It's never gonna go the way Tanya wants it. We all know in real history the US wins, so the real best way to deal with this is to just defect to the US and live the rest of her life as a civilian and let the US do it's thing. Although i doubt being x will let it go easy

Tanya's inability to see how emotional investment might affect the frontline troops' reactions to the proposed peace agreement shows she's not quite as smart as she thinks. Of course people going through death and carnage for what they thought was a righteous cause are gonna be fucking pissed if it ends up being completely pointless. Because there's no proof they're aware. Considering their personalities they would've definitely made a joke about Stalin or Churchill. They also wouldn't have the mix-up at the end where they thought the Italians were the Russians who met with the Americans. They've only responded to the mention of the United States, nothing on the European side. They would've called them out as they see them. Now, I do believe they know there's inspiration from our world, but I think they realise just how deep it goes and that it's loosely following history

The Empire's top brass in general suffers from an overly strong belief in human rationality. Tanya at least knows that, but being aware of a blind spot doesn't always let you see throught it.

US joins the Allied Powers and the war ends not too long after in favor of the Allies, you cannot argue that the US DIDN'T win. "The Allies won and the Central Powers lost" is more accurate, but these replies are virtue signaling. Hell, the USA makes out of the World Wars in the best shape, so pointing that out isn't incorrect either.
