I had to check ahead to see what volume the season was covering. Holy peak! I hope Roshi reads this; they're trying to pack the series with as much happy before all the stress and paranoia. It's the deep breath before the plunge. The thing I love about this series is that it has a definite beginning, middle, and end with a little bit more added. If you care, I read the sequel series, so I hope they make good on their promise, because the after-stories are just as interesting.

From what I hear, the next TP is a doozy. Enjoy it while we have this peace. Still, it is a bit of a fumbled ball to cut outside the hotel. Much as the show gets flamed for debauchery and the like, I think the way it approaches sex was fairly tasteful at all points. I was half expecting another dramatic recounting of their time in Rudy's starter house like on their way to the Lightening spell. Shame.

These episodes have been covering the end of volume 13. 12 was the labyrinth so 13 is a set up volume. We get the family settled in, Rudy gets some new magic and a new hand, and he experiments with the hydra scale. It will pick up once we get into the volume 14 content which will most likely start in the next episode.
