Everything they said about Creed was true, and the first chance he got, he shot Exodus in the back and killed him. Now, were they going to kill him first? sheera is correct as nearly always. exodus is an omega level telekinetic and all his feats are just expressions of that. the definition of telekinesis is to manipulate matter. lifting stuff is the most base form of that. manipulating matter allows him to control molecules and energy, including allowing him to teleport and create energy constructs (like when he attacked polaris and bishop while on the pteradons). even psionics can teleport. madelyne pryor in the comics could teleport via the astral plane like nightcrawler teleports via his pocket dimension and magik teleports via limbo.

He’s from the past and was a crusader. Apocalypse activated his powers and tried to recruit him but Exodus refused and was sealed away for centuries. magneto found the tomb he was sealed in and Exodus drank the Magneto Kool-Aid. Mutants are basically people with powers, and there are good people and bad people. The same applies to mutants. Charles would have the mutants protect the people throwing stones at them against the mutants who are sick and tired of being sick and tired. I think you should just make an example of the ones that try to hurt them, like the Friends of Humanity or Creed. I think a show of force or power as a deterrent is a better approach. You don't have to like me, and you have to accept me to stay out of my way, and I'll stay out of yours. Some people have a hard time accepting the holocaust. Same-sex marriages, abortions, Palestine and Charles expects humanity to accept an entirely different group of people. I don't think that would ever work. I don't see humans ever accepting mutants. I think you have to force your way in and find a place for yourself By Any Means necessary.

Ok Malcolm X lol. In all seriousness Charles main goal is to get humanity to accept mutants and learn to live with them whether they like them or not. Magneto even echoes this in the second episode when takes over the X-Men for a bit. As you said there's good and bad in all people including mutants and the X-Men are there to counter bad mutants that are often committing great evils for their own purposes. Not simply because they want to live differently or are tired of dealing with oppression. Now in the context of this episode Charles sent the X-Men after Creed because they know that if these mutants kill him it's just going to create further problems between mutants and humans, and Kurt's main motive is to try to see if can redeem his brother. However, when Creed shoots Exodus that demonstrated to Kurt that his brother was too far gone hence why he leaves him in the snow 🤔.

Plus wtf is the mentality that since somebody can potentially be saved they should be regardless of all the things they've done. I'm a firm believer of the notion that past a certain point people are irredeemable, yes they may change in the future but it does not bring back the large amounts of people they've killed and the destruction they've caused. For example, if somebody like apocalypse had potential to change in the future I personally wouldn't give him that chance, he killed millions, probably even tens of millions of people, yes in this hypothetical he can change but to me that amount of death needs to be answered for.

Honestly I’m with Jamaal on this one. People won’t ever truly accept mutants across the board, and the X-men aren’t just their dogs to sic on mutant terrorists. They’re supposed to protect & nurture mutantkind. When will mutants ever be safe, or treated like people? By this point the X-Men have saved humanity so many times & all they did was cherry pick the losses out to blame them & outlaw their activities. Nothing is ever enough. All X-Factor does is lock up mutants indefinitely. Genosha should’ve been enough. They had a place for themselves & it was taken, so many died. Nobody helped, the government said not my problem. She'll 100% be back eventually. She's quite popular. She almost certainly isn't as powerful yet in the show continuity as she is in the comics. It could also be that since she's younger, she hasn't yet fully developed the ruthless personality she's known for. Who knows tbh. Characterization is always weird when it comes to Marvel/DC characters because not only are there almost always changes to them when being adapted (I literally don't think there's a fully comic-accurate depiction of Peter Parker/Spider-Man that's been in animation), there are also usually distinctions just from one run to another in the comics when another writer takes over. Unless it's something SUPER wild that's deliberately antithetical to the character, I personally just view it as another take as long as they stick to the core. Perhaps this Ilyana is more kind-hearted.
