Peak is here

J Man

Random social commentary behind the poopoo peepee joke show

Inconspicuous Pug

Why did the funny catgirlfailure show suddenly talks about the systematic oppression of a class

GorpPenguinz

When the show starts to lock in a little bit

GorpPenguinz

Also i hope sheera’s “nyanya” never stops, its so cute lol

Tre

Tame???? I’m out man. I want my weekly cringe fest

Jessy

It’s crazy so many people miss it but the sister rejecting that guy is simply because she has thing for damaged people and “fixing them.” Like she smirked to yanis begging😭💀she lives for the dysfunction.

Argus

Yeh, as I told yall, as beastfolk, un can’t live well until u marry a human, and these Alfa are actually a problem, they are the reason why the beastfolks have minimum rights, and i think there are more on other countries

Teejay

17:16 I haven’t laughed this much to the point where I couldn’t make a sound 😭😂😂😂

Krype

Does the younger sister like people in trash situations 😭

WTT_321

So I could be bloody crazy, but weren't they gonna go stag beetle hunting or whatever, only to end up at a civilization that created the tobacco? I'm so lost right now....

TChang23

Would love to see a March comes in like a lion duo reaction someday 🙏🏻

EvilGodAsura

Did you think cat girls were normal in japan? Obviously they have weird origins.

Argus

And they can be doctors, lawyers, but that so recently that there are not too much, that’s why they said that the game is like “old”, especially is talking about the generation of Yani neko, her sister have more opportunities than she ever had

Generous wallet

From what i heard, the reason why she stood at attention to the number 12 is because in Japan. Prisoners are given numbers instead of being called out by their names. So, to summarize. She got CAUGHT using what takes XD

Tyler

the show is never a continuous story throughout the episode(s). think of it like a show that has segments with stories that sometimes do or don't connect.

Hayaku Eon

Indeed. She craves failure and trying to fix them

Lily Rose

so you guys could react to something like this but not euphoria 😭 this is way more freaky and sexual 😅

Lily Rose

sheera!! why didn't you do the meow meow *cough* lol you ate w that last intro

Devin B

I was not expecting this show to have a serious message underneath all the jokes and gags, they definitely mentioned it in passing how the beastfolk are treated but they went more in-depth with it this ep

Josh Mr.Fire

I figured the whole section with them going hunting was separate because it was just Yani and Yaku going hunting, but the Alpha segment was a separate adventure since the two others were with her.

Fuji

damn her sister is a fixer oh god

WTT_321

Oh that part I knew because of the random bumpers they've always sprinkled throughout the episodes, but I guess I forgot that while I was actually invested in it (to the point I forgot that this is the South Park of anime)...

Bryan

Fragrant flower mentioned

Bria A.

euphoria came out five billion years ago though, so the chances are they've either already seen some of it in their own time or just straight up aren't interested. there's also a difference between a messy degenerate comedy and a messy degenerate live-action drama (that starts off in high school) lmao

Jessy

Here we go what?? Girl bye

Jessy

And men too😭people have issues with wanting to be needed by someone. It’s crazy work

James Jconvard

Tame is relative for this show and i love it.

Xemnas27

An actual serious episode lol. It’s not far fetched to say the reason they smoke and drink and get high is cause they’re basically outcasts in society. Sad stuff ngl

Xemnas27

Toxic bro 🤣

Taheah Shahdaiah

I'm surprised no one said that the shrine looks like a space ship. The Cat people are aliens, which explains the ray gun. They also say they never age so there is no telling how old the chief is.

Johannes Joestar

her facial features did indeed pop out of her face for a second there lol

RichXHim

God she’s so hot

Ayoken007

This episode really highlighted what they usually put in the background. Beastfolk have it rough out here. I wondered because of the episode with the nicotine patches saying that they're dangerous to humans, so I looked into it a little. They get different strength drugs. At least the cigarettes are stronger if nicotine patches can kill humans if its the beastfolk version. Also the way they talk to them at the jobs. That lady talking to her dirty during that vase polishing job (also interesting that she called it an artifact or something). When she got arrested with the mangaka the police said Yani was "owned" by her. That combined with the nuggets dropped from the game and the way Imouko was being treated lets me know plenty. That landlord really is a decent guy. If he was scummy he could probably make Yani do whatever kink he wanted if he said it would cover her rent. If he tossed in a few cigarettes she probably would play housepet for him. I also really liked how he was looking out for Yaku when she seemed down. Yani is in a precarious position for a number of reasons. I'm glad she has some sorta support system because she can be taken advantage of so easily. And they wrap this all in a super crude comedy. Another show that's actually good but hard to recommend.

Didier

The first part implied that the sister needs someone to be dependent on her, like with Yanineko, and the guy was not broken enough for her to fix.

TheMilkMan

After seeing episode 1, I thought, "aw, is this gonna be a deep story about overcoming addiction", 5 episodes in and yeah, I don't think so, not mad at it though, ready to see more fuckery 😂

Lily Rose

they react to things that came out 50 billion years ago all the time...

Didier

I was thinking maybe the Roshi team missed it, but after reflection I think they probably understood, they just didn't vocalize it. The problem with being a reactor is that if you don't say out loud everything you notice on screen, most people will assume you're oblivious to it.

Didier

You mean the unemployed catgirl drinking herself to sleep (calling it "happiness") until she almost dies drowning in her own vomit wasn't social commentary enough?

Didier

I think I'm addicted to Yanineko's voice.

Jessy

That or they missed it🤷‍♀️as many people have missed it

Mew Anime

10:10 ts pissed me off like ur BUM ASS is streaming in people's homes laughing at me for not having an illegal hobby :sob:

J Man

Hahaha, so true, so true

J Man

Which means she'd probably only date a deadbeat or crack addict. Someone in a similar situation as her sister.

J Man

Imoko looking like a whole Mejiro McQueen has me still hoping that Roshi and crew will get to Uma Musume: Pretty Derby. Epsecially the GOAT season featuring McQueen, Pretty Derby Season 2.

J Man

Sheera and Yani were on the same page this episode. First moment they saw that tower they were chuckling, "It's a dick!"... meanwhile you have people like me, Roshi, or Lupa sucked into the deep and historical lore of this society.

Vinne

Isn't that called nightingale syndrome or something?

Inconspicuous Pug

Yeah i think they missed it, Roshi said “pre-cigarette addiction cat is crazy” so maybe he thought the sister was a young yanineko

Michael Kaiser

This anime is actually really good bru😂

cyberspacecat

Can't say I expected actually interesting lore-drop in yani neko of all anime. There was definitely an inkling of beastfolk being second class citizens, but this episode makes it way more explicit, it's fr segregation hours (or at least shortly after, seems like they were treating the game of life as a sort of anachronism)

mercury_black17

its true tho cuz i see woman love taking in bums mf and care for them all the time

Michael Solis

In one of the early episodes a fortune teller mentioned that she has a criminal record.

Has Noname

Surprisingly deep episode lol

Johnny D. Wicked

You should absolutely check out Akiba Maid War! It has a hilarious episode that parodies Samurai Champloo in the best way possible. It’s a guaranteed laugh-out-loud experience for every episode.

David James

the cats just have a space racer laser gun

Redtempest

Funny how both 100gfs and this episodes were tame this week😭

Dyastro123

Just learned about the jomon period from an anime like this (who would have thought this anime would be....educational.....) People on YouTube described it as "japan before the japanese" Sorry I'm a bit of a history buff, so I find this stuff interesting

Justice

5:39 Shouldn't be telling him yes either if you barley know him. The idea of agreeing to go out with someone you aren't interested in, because they seem nice and you wanna test things out is insane to me.

JJ

Nah this episode was kinda od. That whole segment going to get the stag beatles was beautiful and the music during the segment with the alphas was some of the funniest shit I’ve heard in a minute.

Severus Alaerth

In short, Imoko has a bit of a savior complex with the way she's been saying things this episode lmao

Mea

9:18 lol I was about to type something similar after I heard that. Very typical attribute of systematic oppression as most of us here know. Then the group in question still feeling the aftereffects of it centuries later. This episode was really great in fleshing out more of the worldbuilding~

grodon909

They're both in high school--they could have known of each other for years. We don't really have enough information to say "that's insane."

DANIEL PEREZ

i have said before anyone connected to yaniko is not normal.

Dooly

You’d neglect the interesting world building?

Dooly

They pretty much copy pasted that design from Uma Musume

Katsu Imagitian

With that "gun" I assume they're implying the Beastfolk were originally aliens that came to Earth.

Courtney Anne Thomas

@jessy i knew the comment was going to ruffle feathers and u played exaclty into it without even knowing what i meant so fucking stupid

ViralCorgi

What do you mean? That's literally what dating is. Getting to know someone to see if you're compatible. Asking someone to go out with you isn't a marriage proposal lol It's literally an offer to "let's see how things work". It would have been nothing wrong with her accepting.

Rell_TheGoat

Wait I could’ve sworn we were going out to catch bugs or some shit how’d we get to tobacco land🤣🤣🤣💀

William Morris

wait that's an actual african ritual. jumping off a 50-100 ft platform made of logs and vines with only a vine wrapped around your feet. the platform bends with your weight since its made from elastic vines and the vines (sometimes) will just make you stop right before the ground. I say sometimes because the vines can be too old and snap. I think its a ritual for someone becoming a man idk look it up but it does exist.
