Yamin Aqeeli

This will be nothing less than a stress fest

All for you

I've been stalking my phone waiting for this to drop!

Mikaylin

Ooooo morning drop lets goooo🫶🏾

PJ Rivera

Its 7 am right now in CA, this notification woke me up thanks Roshi

V7 VEXX

Mmm perfect... 9am stress is about to hit

jason thomas

Hell yeah. I got something great to watch while I'm at my appointment lol

Carlos

"Stressful ahh episode" could be the caption to every episode

B23

yay

B23

ep 13 onwards, i was holding my breath 😭

Conk

The Peak

Bria A.

I make no promises on my comments about S2, but best believe every single episode of S1 is worth it.

st

As much as I love this show, and this is just a consideration for y'all... this show can be super heavy concerning death and family, so I'm just hoping y'all are ok watching it right now. With all that's happened in your lives recently.

Gilthwixt

Bro we are two hours in to a 12+ hour shift, if you think shit is stressful now you ain't ready for the rest of the season 😅

Lurkingposter

You think its stressful now. Lol

Junipxr

I don't know if you guys noticed or anyone has mentioned it but Dr Mel (blonde with glasses that was giving out high fives) is the real-life daughter of Bryan Cranston who played Walter White in Breaking Bad !

jason thomas

TBF, guys. American cops are incredibly bad with mental health cases, I don't fault the mother for not reporting it to the police first. There are so many horror stories of people calling the cops first in mental health cases and the person ends up being killed because the cops aren't trained to handle those types of crisis.

A

Look...I needed a nap after binging the last few episodes 😂.

Bria A.

I think their current perspectives on the Robby and David situation are so interesting, and I'm excited to see what they end up thinking as the season progresses.

Gib

Yeah episode 2 is rough. The mom wailing and the whole ER hearing it is just haunting. Time to buckle up, this show is sad.

Jamaal Ellison

After watching these episodes, I'm going to watch the first 2 seasons of "The Bear" to decompress.

Jamaal Ellison

Morning, the pit dropped. Nothing like stress with a cup of coffee. I'm making preparations for dinner tonight; my family's going to be able to taste the stress in my meat, *pause*.

Bria A.

I'm hoping they signed up for the show with that consideration already in mind...personally I was thinking of them and mostly concerned about the various incidents involving children. I hope they stick with it but also totally understand if they have to bail out at any point.

slavicandsapphic

They asked friends about it and I’m sure said friends warned them. Ngl, sometimes what I needed after losing my own brother was movies/shows that made me cry and hit close to home. Its a good stress reliever depending on the person.

slavicandsapphic

Wild day to need “The Bear” to decompress LMAO

Mr. Toastman

Dr King is played by Bryan Cranston’s daughter, btw!

JoZé

it only gets crazier from here, also i don’t know if anyone said anything on the last episode about it but the actress who plays Mel is Bryan Cranston’s daughter. I was like wow but i do remember seeing her on breaking bad.

Elizabeth Darby

A lot of ppl in the medical field say this show is very realistic

Tyler

im a santos supporter and forgiver. she can do no wrong in my eyes☺️

Ernie

8:20 the girl with the glasses is Bryan Cranstons (Heisenberg) daughter

Tuny kun

This is hard to watch man. Facing and fighting death everyday is such a quick path to insanity imo. Idk how they do it.

Robert Smith

Not her singing Megan thee Stallion to calm down😭. This show is peak!

Fred

Yeah this the typa show you can’t have any snacks or meals during it 😭 I once was having a steak and idk why I thought to turn on an episode of the Pitt I damn near gagged

Willy Wonka

Yeah police don't do anything until people are already hurt or dead. There are countless examples of mass shootings where the police/FBI had the shooter on their radar and knew they were planning something, but didn't stop it from happening. Anyone who's tried to report threats of violence to the police knows they basically just listen to you and say "we'll file a report" and you never hear from them again.

Squaler

Speed running this show is how you watch it. Go on, Roshi, do back to back at least. It’s so peak.

Metweet .c

The mom with the kid who took the gummies is pissed because it was her husbands gummies that she didn't even know was in the house till the kid was in hospital

Sam

So far samira is my goat! her and that nervous girl with the glasses

ultraviolet

idk why yall expect logic and maturity at all times given what these ppl are going through every ep with both the doctors and patients. deciding if your parent is gonna die, being terrified that a hospital could report u to cps bc your child got into gummies etc are extremely understandable stressful things to go through. why are yall getting mad at these ppl for having reasonable reactions??

Adio Sebastian

Really appreciate you both watching this fantastic show, glad to experience it again through fresh eyes and hearts.

Mauro

Anyone gasp when they found out homegirl Mel is the daughter of Bryan Cranston

I.C.Y

I love this show when my mom got diagnosed with cancer and I was the sole decision maker, this helped me see that putting her on machine for breathing was only for me and would do nothing for her. She got to leave this earth without pain but with dignity.

melloburner

real tears this episode man, as a really empathetic person i could never do this job. i have so much respect for people working in healthcare and the bullshit they put up with, EVERY DAY.

mysterioussfox

might as well use the same caption for all the episodes

nick

you get it, easily my favorite character

TheHud257

The stressful episodes haven't even started yet 😭😭😭

kai. 🩶

kudos to all the healthcare workers in here!

Mike A

You know ball 🫡

Gib

Yeah I don't have children and a couple of the cases involving them were hard to watch and hear.

Danielle

It was the husbands pot gummies her crashout valid

Khayta (Hi-tuh)

"Stressful ahh episode" Roshi u two eps in 😭 u got 15!

Khayta (Hi-tuh)

Small detail but the show doesnt have a score or soundtrack that regularly plays. It's just the hospital ambience with cues at the start and end. I feel like this was a really smart choice to immerse viewers

Elise

Me and you both my brother

Aliyana Tamms

16:19 the mom for the kid is in haunting of hill house, fall of the house of Usher and midnight mass. Incredible actress

hange

i just wanted to say that as a nurse from England, working in ED really is like this & sometimes much worse from the very start of the shift til the very end - often having to work overtime because of how insanely busy it is and i did want to highlight that medical shows unfortunately don’t tend to show the work us nurses do when WE spend majority of our time with patients (unless its different in america idk) so im hoping The Pitt does 😭

Ron H

you a good egg Bria

Kami_Psy

Yea I’m gonna need more of this every week please 🙂‍↕️

Ash

Every episode of the Pitt reminds me that my day job is not that bad

Derpin

A lot of police shows actually helps with recruitment but I feel like this show does the opposite for the medical industry.

alpha wolf

I agree to a fault. Yeah these are obviously very difficult decisions to have to make, but I also believe that the lady who wanted to keep her father alive was very much in the wrong. It’s such a tough choice to basically allow your parent to die, but in this scenario it’s the ethical one because the father explicitly stated it’s what he wanted. In that case, it becomes an issue of consent and she was absolutely wrong to go against her father’s death wishes, basically revoking the last decision he made in his own bodily autonomy. As for the child, CPS is an understandable thing to be afraid of yes but at the end of the day it’s much more dangerous to withhold that information because it’s a question of the child’s safety. Yeah gummies aren’t life-threatening, but for a four-year-old they can still cause significant damage, plus who knows how many he got into. To not disclose that information is actively putting the child in more danger. Also I don’t think Roshi and Sheera were particularly mad at the characters for reacting the way they did in the heat of the moment, they were simply pointing out the things I said above. They’re probably sensible enough to know that these high-stress situations can cause people to make bad decisions. But I get your point though, you never know how you’ll react until it happens to you.

jason thomas

Oh cool, thanks for the heads up.

xLithion

Dang it i shouldn't have started watching so early, now i have to wait for a week to watch more

slavicandsapphic

We get two episodes a week so actually u just gotta wait till tmmrw lol

Drewb

plus they most likely make it worse or even just ignore it. people think cops can or will do it all bu tin reality they dont. plus doctors only have so much ability to actually involve authorities.

Drewb

they did and do a great job of talking about sickle cell and how black and other poc often are ignored for their pain. due to bias and discrimation people think its drugs or acting out when it is not. medical racism education is really important.

girlygirl9983

9:52 🤣yall's reactions to the gory body anatomy
I guess someones face/body could cave in and be put back in place like that if they land on it hard enough during an accident kinda like arm bones or bones in legs being popped back into place

Seth Aasland

I wasn’t meant to work in hospitals in this lifetime. God has his strongest soldiers, and I am very much not one of them. The people who work in hospitals are superheroes man

girlygirl9983

47:58 🚑 Think DR. COLLINS is referring to DR. ROBBY’S unresolved grief over Dr. Adamson (its his death anniversary this day , died during pandemic) 38:22 🚑 the vibes felt like the OR doctor GARCIA is romantically into student doctor SANTOS 13:31 🚑 this happens VERY OFTEN doctors/nurses in competition between who gets to do what procedure or assist 21:37 🚑 Adderall / energy drinks , idk if its popular but I’ve heard of medical students or certain majors using double the rec. to stay awake to study for long hours

girlygirl9983

❤️ DR. MC KAY still one of my favs despite that ankle monitor on her 💀 but that young med student def judging her real hard based on her facial expression LOL

girlygirl9983

the first time i was floated to ER from my usual unit I pondered quitting before and after the shift LOL

NightRunnerrr

joined the patreon for this series lfg

Derpin

Police shows actually help with recruitment. So far this show feels like would push people away from the medical field with how stressful it is.

Fenpai

Stress is the alternate title to this show btw 😂!

Anime4Life

Nah if you put a dog collar on my dog I’d do the same thing!

crosshairs shawty

I work in the ED as a RN and the pitt is easily the most accurate medical show. I be seeing stuff that I be doing at work all the damn time xD

lackingnames

I do agree with the general sentiment that cops wouldn't really be useful in this situation. But to say its beyond the doctors ability to involve them? That is nonsense. Anyone can call the cops on someone who has a list of names they want to "eliminate".

lackingnames

There's a gradient of behaviors between "logical and mature" and the level of ridiculous, blind and nonsensical emotional overreactions that clearly bring worse outcomes, as seen in the show. Not being mad at someone who is being beyond irrational and is trying to make harmful decisions for others is even more ridiculous.

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

i rly appreciate the awareness this show brings to certain issues, like how they touched on with race this episode - also mel trying to lock in by singing savage made me snort lol, but they rly do have me out here cryin like every ep 🥲

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

yeah i was immediately concerned upon watching them try to get thru last ep too :( its definitely a tough watch no matter what so i can understand it either way (lord knows i cry my way thru), but 100% hope their comfort is prioritized over the viewers experience! if its not the show for them rn (or even ever) no one can blame them

jason thomas

No I never said they shouldn't report it. I said I agree with mother of not involving the cops "first". Cops first in mental health crisis can be very dangerous. There some areas iirc that have mental health workers that go along with cops on Wellness checks and those have significantly better outcomes.

girlygirl9983

oh I see I always wondered about that process , the ER is 100% this stressful in real life , it's non stop , theres a joke that says its for "adrenaline junkies" , especially if it's a Level 1 Trauma hospital in the city , super busy most days

fluffypuppy2k

WHOAH THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I SEE SHEERA USING THE N WORD

Ekko08

It's hasn't even been a day yet... I could not handle this

girlygirl9983

oh wow the Breaking Bad actors daughter?

Raider

Just touching the surface on what’s to come. Enjoying the grueling & brutal rewatch with y’all.

Mauro

Yuppp

marni

omg i just realised whitaker is vlad from young dracula 😭

Krype

🤨

Krype

Stress the show

Wes

One thing this show captures beautifully is the silence!! Despite the beeping monitors and a hundred people talking …. when there’s life and death happening the silence can be so jarring that it’s palpable and you can feel it caught in your throat.

Hybrid10Prime

I heard ER is blooming rough but holy FUCK....

dthorizon

So I can have my will say that I do not want to be intubated but my kids can override it? I don't understand how much a person has to suffer for their loved ones to understand that it would be best for them to let go and respect my wishes.

WarWolf

me when roshi flinched at the mixing adderall and energy drinks and commented on their lifestyle : 🧍‍♂️

Bony Rabbit

Y'all face during every episode is just how mine was, I was just like this watching this show for the first time.

Senjioh

Why watch a doctor show if you can look at half of the stuff the doctors half to do lol

Mxri

9:53 I feel like my eyes have been assaulted.

Mxri

14:44 he doesn't like her and neither do I lol. She sucks.

Mxri

You know.. Working in healthcare, this is kinda triggering lol

Mxri

44:09 omg que mucho jode esa! Tell that bitch to shut up already lol

Tuny kun

15:01 I thought my Samsung Dryer was going off but it was this tab wtf lol.
