lil_rata

yippeee! I watched this in theaters and honestly loved it. I wish it wasnt so expensive to go to the movies cuz i really forgot how much i like the experience

savion franklin

Damn, this would have been even better with Lupa. Hope he and his family are staying strong and keeping it together.

Mr.Host

I love that the supernatural stuff in this director's films are more circumstantial than outright antagonistic. The villains are usually pathetic men. Speaking of, Mal feels like he's ripped straight from a season of Fargo, which is great. I loved this movie.

Slime SLAT

Bro. I am jumping out the fuckin window before I go down that shaft

Dexter

Facts it hits different at night

DatKid_Kaneki

oh lupa u are missed my king. W movie tho

diamonddog 103

I loved watching this in theaters. I wish Lupa was here for this one but it's completely understandable. Hope him and his fam are doing well.

Asha Llewellyn

depending on how pregnant fiona was, they could possibly test the fetus

chris

LMFAO "actually im not haunted anymore. nu uh i dont wanna"

Cole hauser

When I saw that circle in the folklore book at the beginning all I could think about was SpongeBob.😂😂😂 SpongeBob: Quickly Squidward get into our anti sea bear circle. Squidward: Are you crazy?!?!? A dirt circle won’t stop that monster. I’m running for my life!!!! SpongeBob and Patrick: NOOOOOOO!!!! *Squidward runs and is mauled by a sea bear* *SpongeBob then throws a stick at Squidward after the bear swims away* SpongeBob: Squidward draw a circle!!!! *Squidward drawing* *Sea bear returns and mauls Squidward again* Spongebob: that was an oval, it has to be a circle. 😂😂😂😂

Jonathan Hart

Y'all should watch that animated movie called GOAT

Mrlanie

my fave film of 2026 ❤️

Mold

Would love to see you guys react to the Argentinian horror Where Evil Lurks, or the Polish horror Hellhole. Foreign horror is on another level. I'm sure the other horror fans can vouch for them.

DrPlague9

😂😂😂 goats really do be screaming like that shit actually startled me

Luke Patterson

glad you guys watched and liked it, I feel like this movie got overshadowed so much by obsession and backrooms!!

PurpleMamba

If this movie came out after Obsession and Backrooms, I think they would've made hella more money js

PurpleMamba

This gives Silent Hill vibes

Mea

Pretty solid film and the ending was really sweet~ I felt like it could've been trimmed down just a little though. I also got heavy Rusty Lake game vibes along with The Shining while watching. I was with Sheera at first in thinking Ohm's spirit was wandering the hotel throughout the movie and the ending would reveal him being trapped there lol. And with the word 'Hokum' I didn't know there was folklore behind it until the movie came out. My family is from the south, so I grew up with it meaning 'dirty' or 'low class' and not what this was all the way in Ireland lol.

Maleny

I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, I haven't combed through the comments, but hokum is an old ass word for bullshit, malarkey, nonsense and such.

DarkSkyLady

I'd definitely recommend Oddity if you haven't seen it. Same director but I love it more than this one! Also, there's an Australian horror film called Sissy.

Rcola25 Jr

I like to see Mr. Scout from Severance in horror films.

Lungenharden08

Where Evil lurks. Argentinian Horror Movie are untapped gems.

Ernie

-Did they catch the person who shot her -Nah he's too young to be punished. Should have hanged him And he hung himself.

Uly A O

I rather enjoyed this movie. Adam Scott plays jerks rather well lol

Andrew

Lol what you mean goats can't sound like that? Ever see those viral screaming goat vids back in the day?

Wrëck

the way he kept falling asleep lol hell nah I would've been up all night watching and showing the witch some tik toks

Milkboy

Oddity and Caveat next both peak by same director

Lauren B.

Check out the old school horror, Motel Hell!

Tbdovan

Random witch add one in movies. Such a quality trope especially when done in a small dosage.

Drey

Scare sheera saturdays would fit better imo

Ernie

HOKUM-TUA

A

This movie reminds me of Sam lake type of games

Jojo

Thank you for the reaction and I miss Lupa hope he stay strong and his family love you guys ❤️❤️.

Dante

When Mr. Sweaty-San makes his illustrious return y'all should do The Mummy & Evil Dead Burn i needa see y'alls reactions to all the grossness 😭

Delinda Arts

Big Jerry never the lil one!

mysterioussfox

why was mal's body was not found but fiona's body was in the elevator? this part confused me. fiona was also offed by the witch right or was it the drugs mal gave her.

Jojo

When I first saw this movie notification and saw the title I was like are they watching Turkey movie but then when I started the movie it was in English I was confused that you guys were watching Turkey because I never saw you watch one🤣🤣.

The_Loyal_Sif

Only about 20mins in but I already hate this dude.

Keywii

When the boy and man hugged there’s a broken circle around them symbolizing the cycle of torment is over.

Nigel Douglas

I forgot that I did see this in theatres lmao. I was like what are ya’ll watching at first

Slime SLAT

Aint no wooden planks stoppin me big bro

Sare

Damn was this even a horror movie? It almost feels like it's own genre and I mean that in the best way possible. It's more like a thriller with supernatural elements. It never felt like you were meant to he scared or even disturbed. I want to see more movies from this director!

Prune Chips

You should check out his other films. He very much likes to make films like this

Ergo Somnium

Btw, Idk if anyone ever explained it but Hokum basically means "I call BS", or "That's hogwash".

Keke

you guys should check out They Will Kill You. it's very good and kinda reminds me of Ready or Not and I know you guys loved those movies.

MonDizzie
