I think belinda seems like a sweetheart who would have helped Jennifer coolige anyways. Belinda drew the professional line from the beginning and Jennifer kept pushing back on that because my guess is she views belinda as a surrogate mother. (Extra layer is that in these hotels the customer needs comes first, it was mentioned ep 1.) I do agree that Jennifer is extremely vulnerable so who is taking advantage of who gets blurred

i agree armond was always in the wrong but i think the husband should let it go and get a refund at the end so they can enjoy their honeymoon. his obsessiveness over it and the fact his parents paid for it show his character and how he would act about other things in their relationship, so i understand the wife’s frustrations

there are very few characters on tv who have annoyed me even half as much as these college girls... i guess it's partly because of the perpetual gen z stare and mostly because they go on saying woke things while simultaneously judging and being mean to everyone all the time, even strangers who are just being normal and nice. every conversation turns into a debate with those two like give it a restttt 😭

some people will do any and everything for money and thus would encourage their loved ones to do so as well. "she will pay for everything? then you DO everything she says to get that money!" ill say this: just make sure you get everything in writing so you can easily get rid of her once the business is off the ground. legal documents are your friends, not people.

For the girl and the employee secretly being together, I think it's just hooking up with a stranger while on vacation. It just so happened to be an employee - Them doing it in secret, could be because there might be a guest fraternization policy at the hotel.

I don’t think Belinda being extra nice to Tanya to see if she will come through on her offer is necessarily bad. Everyone is getting something out of it. It's a fair exchange. It would be different if Belinda targeted her because she's wealthy and grieving but Tanya pursued this. And she's a guest at the hotel so she's obligated to serve her regardless.

Shane was such a jerk for the pool scene, totally on Rachel's side there. I certainly wouldn't marry him. Rachel comes across more sympathetic this episode. Her biggest flaw to me is still her lack of self awareness when it comes to her marriage dynamics and her decision to get married in the first place.

after binge watching this season, I think my favorite character has to be Shane 💀. He was an a**hole but idk he grew on me. He's entertaining for sure and most of his rection during the show are valide. Armon is the actual bad guy in this

Armond is either self destructing because his guilt over Lani plus his hatred for his job/life/rich people has actually gotten to him so badly that he can't control the urge anymore, or he is using those things as an excuse to self sabotage and selfishly go on a bender and be a shithead.

The 2 least terrible people is the dad and son so far. The dad just going through a lot. He thought he had cancer and then he found out his dad was living a secret life. The worse thing he did was drink too much. The son is also just so far the typical average teenager who is addicted to electronics and socially awkward. The only thing he needs to work on is that he needs to stick up for himself when it comes to his sister.

Btw it is the mum who probs made the daughter that way seeing as she is not emotionally present for her husband and the daughter probs picked up on that and started acting that way towards her brother. I agree about Armond, he’s doing too much. But I worked in the luxury hotel business for a little while and the main thing to remember about it vs retail is that, yes, these guys tend to be more entitled, but you have them there FOR DAYS at least. Admit one mistake and they will hound you day after day looking for free shit and grumbling “unacceptable”, “been a guest for years” blah blah. Be nice and give them free shit just to get rid of them, and they just might come back to get it repeatedly and tell all their cranky geezer cruise friends about it too. The only way to do it is to gaslight them a little honestly, like, oh well, this is actually the way it is but let me just this once get you a free beer or something
