Devin reid

Worked at the hospital with the largest burn unit on the east coast and I saw folks like him get flown in every day damn near

Pizza man

Did most of them pass away like they suggested in the episode?

Devin reid

It truly depends a lot of the times if they ended up in our BURN ICU (BICU) they would literally be in the hospital for 6 months minimum if it was something really bad lots of time it was young kids and infants due to severe food burns and such we also had a lot of prisoners in our BICU due to stuff other inmates did that caused the injuries I wasn’t medical staff but just being hospital staff you will learn a lot and see a lot 4th of July last year was crazy my comment on I think episode 8 this week about the honor walk I was thing about a guy from the 4th of July he got hit in the face by a firework mortar and he was brought in by EMS with the left side of his face completely caved in and gone they kept in in the ICU for 5 days to keep his organs running even tho he was dead when EMS wheeled him inside I saw him up close unfortunately and that was rough to witness

xLithion

I get that the kid with the list of girls that need to be "eliminated" definitely needs mental help and is weird, but what do they expect the cops to do? He basically just wrote a list of girls he hates and wishes were dead, what crime did he commit that they can hunt him down and arrest him for? I knew some edgy ass kids growing up who would make dumb lists of people they hate and wished would die too but they were just creepy weirdos. I guess to be fair when i was growing up there weren't really school shooters like that very much so i guess now they can't preemptively take someone into custody for thinking he may commit a crime?

Y'all got me to break down and buy this collection, show is too bingeable lol. Final scene with Robbie and Langdon had me with my hands on my head like holy shit.

britt

they take that stuff more seriously now after columbine. making a kill list is a felony. and threats can be a misdemeanor or felony depending on the severity

Wizard

Anybody know what the nurses were saying at 32:47? Subtitles are blocking it, if not it’s fine

Brynn Ashcroft

"What about those two?" "Definitely. " There ya go, hope that helps.

ROSHISWIG

i just bought it rn too i cannot wait lmfao roshi you got me take my $ 😤😤

Joe Crammond

starting to see the point of the collections, members can pay in advance for episodes, as much as i love your reactions, i prefer to wait than pay the extra, would love to see you do the Chucky films and tv series at some point

Crystal

In hindsight, it was so fucking obvious that Langdon was stealing meds and was an addict bruh. The show was NOT subtle at all

Crystal

The cops could contact the school and go “hey there’s a kill with access to guns trying to kill some students that currently go there. Send everyone home and make sure the girls have an adult escorting them”. Also, making a kill list with specific names is very much illegal

Fern Weh

Peep that when he was called an adrenaline junkie he got mad asf

nick

yea its really really apparent on rewatch

Afrobushidohub

Discussing the "Special Sauce" conversation between Mel and Samira, you can tell each character has their own. I feel Mel's Special Sauce is her observations skills, exspecially when it comes to ppl w/ Special needs. She may be awkward and slow to pick up on social cues. But she is extremely talented and patient when it comes to special need cases.

Brynn Ashcroft

Totally get it Joe, i like to wait my self but they got me with this collection. I caved lol

Afrobushidohub

Exspecially when Collins called him a "junkie" and that is all he heard, I'm honestly surprised he hasn't gotten caught before today.

M

12:05 - He’s jealous of Mateo. Y’all missed the set up. The son said his dad took him skateboarding (and ended up getting hurt) cuz he had heard that Mateo took the son skateboarding first. Plus he thinks Mateo and McKay are together which he says in the later scene when he’s high “what does he have that I don’t - younger/hair”. He wants his family back! 😂

LC

Now that I'm rewatching this, I didn't noticed before how touchy Langdon got when Collins called him an adrenaline "junkie." He's all WHAT'D YOU CALL ME?

Ternary

Will buying the collection give me access to the other videos unreleased? I don't think I caught that part from the video he made explaining it 😅.

Anon7524

I'm surprised you guys actually believed the burn victim would live but maybe I've just seen too many medical shows tbh? The guy was burned on 100% of his body and they specifically said the ratio was about 30% partial and 70% full thickness; if he survived that would be true torture tbh even though most of his nerve endings have been burned off at this point. In cases like him, you hope for the 90% case of early death, and not the one that comes after dealing with the inevitable sepsis if he does survive longer pretty much like Langdon said

poisonivybag

Aaahhhhh I can't wait to see more with you

M

Not sure if they heard it. But yeah that was the nice final touch - he was way too triggered over that throwaway comment.

Mike A

Langdon was stealing meds from patients, making life or death decisions while high on said meds and was screaming at a student. He should probably be in jail, he definitely should lose his job and medical license. I get he's a 'nice guy' but imagine you're that patient earlier in the season having a seizure and the meds they give you aren't working cause he fucked with them. At an absolute bare minimum he should be taken out of the ER, let him go be a foot doctor or something so he doesn't kill anyone.

Fenpai

Naaah Santos wanted to get him in trouble, Langdon just didn't do himself any favors 🤣 !! I'm on Santos side though, bro getting high on the job is insane.

Luke

That apparently doesn't happen in real life though, especially with good doctors. Addiction is treated as a disease, and the docs are given an opportunity to get help as well as a way back to work

Anna Leigh

Listen I grew up on such shows as House, and that guy was worse so I can forgive Dr. Langdon😌

Sham Sham

whats funny, we have 2 or 1 1/2 ex addicts. langdon mckay. their journeys are just diff. she delt with her's pre doctor and Langdon is dealing with his now as a doctor, his just comes with way more consequences. i am a fan of Langdon's character. he is an amazing doctor him dealing with a possible addiction wont take that away. rooting he can get through his journey and be able to come back if possible...which will def take some time tho if that could happen.

Squaler

Roshi finessing you fools paying triple out here. lol I respect the game. Lmao

gw130782

It does! You can watch everything in the collection.

amillia

49:11 "is he not in season two? we can fix this" lmaooo me asf yes he's in the wrong but Langdon's a top three character

ThePVO

PA law (and most states) requires health care workers to have both the full name of a potential target(s) and a diagnosis by a health care professional that the threat is legitimate before they can report someone to law enforcement. Robby clearly wanted to get David seen to assess the threat and also hoped to avoid having to house him in the E.D. like The Kraken, who'd already been there for an entire week when the day started. As portrayed, McKay violated the law and certainly company policy, exposing her and the hospital to a possible lawsuit and disciplinary action. I wish they'd made the storyline and the legal boundaries clearer.

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

house is a classic 🙂‍↕️ and true that he was def worse in a lot of ways - granted part of the biggest issue with langdon is that hes stealing the meds behind the scenes which can further endanger patients, which wasnt so much the case with house, no? 🤔 his was a dependency with a prescription or something of the sort too right? i also grew up watching it but its been a long time since rewatch, so i cant remember that well lol. also a langdon enjoyer myself tho

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

yeah as a langdon enjoyer i was kindve happy to see roshi still wanting him back too lol 🥹 def needs his consequences tho

Kinai Shobu

Serious episode going on and I'm here just distracted by the squiggly clothing on Gon from the green screen reminding me of the movement in Ed Edd'n Eddy 😭😅

xLithion

His mom said they don't own any guns so he doesn't have access. Also i figured just writing the list in his private writing at home would fall under first amendment wouldn't it? he's basically just venting his feelings in a private diary.

User10101

Yea??? Langdon only lasted a day

Tuny kun

Bro not even 5 mins and they said the cursed word.

PetersThimble

Threats against other people do not fall under 1st amendment. Under laws like California Penal Code 422 PC for example, a criminal threat occurs when you willfully threaten to kill or seriously injure someone, and that statement causes the other person to feel reasonable and sustained fear for their safety or their family's safety. That can be a literal felony. Ppl say 1st amendment like that bars you from consequences lmao

PetersThimble

Totally understood Robby's anger at Langdon. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen - Perhaps even class action. A doctor was operating on patients and making life or death choices while on drugs that they STOLE from patients? Yeah wrap it up lmao Very excited to see yalls reaction to the final eps though!!

PAM

Still find it hilarious that McKay has a douchebag ex named "Chad."

I.C.Y

Right if I could maybe buy them individually but giving 25 on top is wild.

Diggs

Not owning any guns does not mean he cannot find access to one, or any weapons infact. If someone had knowledge of a list of people to hurt with your name on it I'm sure you would want it reported.

Daniel Antunez

he got me bruh. I was on the base tier membership and i wanted to get a head and it linked me to the next tier. I purchase the next tier only to find out it doesn't unlock anymore smh

Wizard Michael

I don’t think there’s any evidence of him actually using drugs while on duty as a doctor. As for the jail time thing, if we took that seriously than Robby and Santos would also definitely be behind bars for stuff they do this season

Nick

Done broke Dr. Robby's heart.

Axel

Damn sorry you had to witness that, and thank you. Even if you're not part of the medical team, it's thanks to you staff people, too frequently forgotten, that hospitals keep running and help many people everyday, everywhere, thanks for your hard work.

Anna Leigh

To my recollection (which is patchy at times) he was getting other doctors to overprescribe him for his actual prescription. But he also wasn't working on patients, mostly just diagnosing

Beetleborg

G̷r̷e̷g̷o̷r̷y̷ Langdon House, MD

NovaVortex

How good this show is... Should be considered a SICKNESS of the highest order 👏👏

Devin reid

I knew what I signed up for as security you’ll see some crazy shit I had to go to all trauma 1s just in case it was a shooting and we had to lockdown the ER incase it was fang related or if the shooter wanted to spin back at the hospital and finish the job. Another reason we responded to all trauma 1s is if the person codes and the family is in the room we gotta act quick to get them under control so med staff can do their job the last thing you need is family getting upset at staff for not doing their job when they are activity impeding the medical staff from doing said job seen it more than a few times and I’ve even had to call the police on a few people who refused to corporate.

Alkampus

I get the Langdon shit because that’s absolutely unacceptable but he’s still right about santos. Also can somebody get these visiting family members out of the room especially when things start going wrong!!!

Mervyn Larrier

For a qualified persoective of Langon's behavior. He actually fell into addiction in the most common way: dependency built from medicine prescribed for a workplace accident. Ultimately, he's a case study in functional addiction, because while he was an addict, his doses were maintenancr doses. He wouldn't have been able to remain as competent as he was if he was strung out. He needs help and he shouldn't be practicing until he gets it, but he's not evil https://www.reddit.com/r/ThePittTVShow/s/r5TQVQ3QUu

Raymond Terry

Funniest episode yet, that must mean bad shit is coming around the corner. Langdon, no, you were the chosen one!

Clasher

You can be arrested and charged if you're plotting to kill others

Wiktor Kicki

dont care, still hate santos

Stacy McQueen, Jr.

Lol if you say “in hindsight”, it was subtle enough to surprise you and most everyone. Got me too

Solara

The way I screamed when Langdon got caught by Robby! I was fully convinced he was selling the pills, not using them. I also thought he wouldn't be stupid enough to keep the stash in his locker but lo and behold. He's an addict, it would make sense for him to keep his supply where it's easily accessible. Thought Langdon was a cool guy but now...yeah they've got to pack his ass up expeditiously!

Mavie

Nurse abuse is incredibly common, across any country, across any hospital, across every state. Speak to any nurse at all and they’ll give you a story of how they’ve been abused. It’s in their training, they’re told to expect it and in most cases - do absolutely nothing about it

Dyastro123

Genuinely....what for at this point?

Dyastro123

Not being a team player is significantly much easier to fix than...well....drugs....

Dyastro123

Was this about Collins and Robbins? Dont entirely remember who they were referring to in that scene

AdmiralSnackbar

I still don't like Santos. She absolutely DID overstep. She showed up like she was hot shit, put down everyone around her, and acted like she wasn't being a problem. Unfortunately with Langdon though, she was also right. They give her a little bit of a redemption arc towards the end of S1, but I don't think it's deserved. She and Langdon have serious beef in S2 and it is 1000% deserved.

Alkampus

It’s not really about what’s “better.” Also she’s more than just not a team player because of her overconfidence I mean just take a look at the past episodes so far. Like I said the drugs are unacceptable but so is the way santos has gone about her FIRST day.

Wes

You’d be surprised how many medical professionals have addiction issues, the stats are out there. It’s a profession that destroys your body and to some degree your mind. Like someone mentioned it is a disease and it’s rightfully treated as such so there is help available. People have issues and even your foot doctor might be going through something, it’s easy to judge from the outside looking in

Ben Ben Tennyson

Got all this chaotic shit going on around the hospital AND bro gotta be a crackhead?? Too much going on at this hospital 💀

Jesse B

You know it’s bad when You can see the white meat 😭😭😭

girlygirl9983

48:12 😢🤦‍♀️not me getting teary eyed in this scene with ROBBY and LANGDON like bro the sheer disappointment and anger on ROBBYs face and in his eyes.💔 ----i also don't agree on ROBBYS take with the teen boy he was trippin but Im glad he came to his senses ----And LANGDON need rehab like bro we trusted you 😤, cant be stealing drugs, i like his character too

Joni

wow i actually liked langdon cuz he was a competent doctor but oh well, u dug ur own grave bro

Mike A

Sure, but the foot doctor isn't going to kill me if he relapses. In the ER you have to make life or death decisions in seconds sometimes and I don't think you can trust him with that. Let Langdon go work in family medicine for a while under probation or whatever if you don't want to fire him.

Mervyn Larrier

Same. I needed the Touch Grass -- i mean Pittfest episodes

kai. 🩶

i love mel so much

Henoch

i mean langdon wasn't showing any signs that he couldn't be trusted in the ER despite consistently dealing with life and death situations every shift. he's actually so good at his job that Robby himself gave a recommendation on how great he is. Ima be honest, if i was going to that ER based on everything I've seen in this show, I'm definitely hoping Langdon is my doctor over almost anyone else in this staff except Robby and maybe Collins.

Henoch

yea same, her being right about Langdon doesn't excuse the way she's been acting all shift mind you on her first day here. i would hate to be coworkers with her and the few I've had that resemble her I stay far away from

Rabadan422

If your body is 60-70% burned you are pretty much done for so yes Whittaker was sort of leading her on with hope.

Raider

We have about 3 hours left in this shift....Yeah, nah.

General Crisp

Yeah Robby was treating that kids list of names like it was just some creepy personal art/writing. I get that Robby doesn't want to ruin his life over something that he didn't do yet but when there's a list you HAVE to make a move.

General Crisp

turns out you need skin to keep the body in

Esther Otunla

Binged watched this then watched ER

Teejay

Hehe In hindsight means you got ankles broke like most of us on first watch 🌚

Gabriella

Langdon is a senior resident. He's been there for years

Jeffison

he was still fully in the right for screaming at santos. she fully deserved that

Jeffison

all the things langdon said this ep. all the nicknames and stuff like that

Tbdovan

Whittaker be in the worst situations
