I feel like the part Robby is mad about with David is getting the cops involved and making a big spectacle. So he wanted it to be handled in private but now it's a big drama in public so he wants her to handle the drama of it. Like i don't get why the cops were brought in anyway because he committed no crime, he just wrote a list of names on a piece of paper. It's like if a kid went, ugh i hate that girl at school and wish she died, while in his bedroom, and the mom overhears and calls the cops to arrest him??? I get that the kid needs to see a psychiatrist or therapist but getting the cops involved escalates it too big.

GinaKym Cwright

I get that but that's different. Saying you wish someone died is very different from making a specific list of multiple girls that he wanted to 'eliminate'. That should most definitely be taken seriously especially when cops usually ignore things like this and school shootings end up happening. So no, the response was okay imo. Robby shouldve said something sooner and maybe it wouldn't have escalated. I do think they could've tried speaking to him together that way he didn't run away but don't forget the Mom saw that list and made herself so sick bc she was that worried. That shows how serious it was. Better safe than sorry.

xLithion

Oh i totally agree that making a list of girls is crazy and he needs help but, what are the cops supposed to do? It's a thought crime at this point, just thinking those girls deserve to be eliminated isn't a crime and he can't be charged with anything so why do they need to call cops to the hospital to come get him?

vagabondhalogen

Red flag laws exist for this very reason. There are specific things like what David did that require investigation irl. Top it off, his mom mentioned an Insta post. It went well beyond the bedroom (as you put it) at that point which is why I am more so leaning towards getting the cops involved in this specific situation since clear identifiable names of people were at possible risk. But I agree that there is nuance required and that we shouldn't fall into a Minority Report situation. The facts presented to us in the show made it clear that investigation was definitely needed. But that is also not always the case in every situation

Malik

Robby making McKay feel like she did something wrong for calling the cops when just an hour ago he was sick to his stomach at the thought of that boy doing the mass shooting is crazy. His whole attitude would've been completely different had the outcome been worse. McKay might've been wrong but at least she can go to sleep knowing that boy's getting help and she did everything she could to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone. Had Robby been wrong he'd have to live with knowing a bunch of teenage girls are dead and he could've done something but chose not to.

naa

Really interesting end discussion! While it's definitely a nuanced situation and I can understand the reasoning from both sides, ultimately, I think I agree with roshi more

britt

my thing is with the ankle monitor, why didnt they make her workplace a safe zone?? like thats so crazy to me

Wizard

I think Robby was also just unfairly taking out his grievances of the shift out on McKay cause she went behind his back

Bria A.

In an ideal world the cops would do their duty to facilitate social help (ie. connecting people in crisis to the true authorities for their issues, like social services or psychiatric services), but the system we're in and the unfortunate police institution built on a foundation of violence doesn't allow for that. I am a huge advocate for not going straight to punishment for thought crimes because that becomes a very slippery slope, especially when it comes to individual biases and what petty things any one person might consider "immoral", but a list of specifically women deemed "to eliminate" goes far beyond a thought crime in my view and is an indicator that he needed immediate help and further observation.

Bria A.

seemingly they did but she said it malfunctions every now and then

vesra

As someone who has been in and out of the psych ward a couple of times, if a medical professional thinks that you may be a harm to yourself or others they are required to report that to their superiors and law enforcement. I can understand the more unorthodox approach of Robby wanting to talk to the kid and ease him into the conversation of getting psychological help without necessarily accusing him of committing a crime or wanting to commit a crime. However, in his position at the hospital Robby should have made the report once it was established that David had an alleged hit list. It sucks accusing someone of wrongdoing especially when it’s a ‘thought crime’ but as he said when Mel wanted to donate blood to save her patient “the benefits outweigh the risks”. I do also agree that McKay should be involved with helping to have David relent and agree to speak with a professional, not as a punishment but as a learning experience on what to do when a patient may be a danger to others but won’t accept help without a nudge.

Resident_Evil_Doer

Yeah, I agree with Roshi a bit more; making a specific list of women you want to harm is up for massive concern. It's one thing to say you want someone to die or something, and another thing to sit and think about multiple people you want to "eliminate". And even before y'all were like why wouldn't his mom call the cops- logically, that's something to report. If she was right, she would've been a hero, but now that he hasn't done anything YET- she's completely in the wrong?...idk. I think that's realistic, though, because even from the jump, Robby kept trying to protect the boy, not even thinking about the girls he's possibly putting at risk by NOT reporting it. Robby also has an obvious tendency to have outbursts and attack others for mistakes- and it's all totally projection, but it's unprofessional and unfair tbh. It was a mistake, but it wasn't her fault. She cared about saving people...which is their job! I love robby but he be killing me sometimes

Anna Leigh

I think it's interesting that the OR doctors are more used to doing standard procedures so they're always so caught off caught when the ED doctors are doing stuff on the fly. And I think the show was being fair trying to show that David wasn't the shooter, but it's one thing to just think about hurting someone and putting names to paper, that's more on the line to making plans and I would take that seriously too. It's sad for him, but imagine if you heard about your name written down by some guy talking the way David was on that IG post? I'd consider that person dangerous. It's also ironic that Robby was saying McKay got David tackled, but Robby is the one who mentioned him to the cop and said he had something to do with it, instead of saying "He might know something." Him getting tackled and handcuffed and dragged was literally Robby's fault.

Fern Weh

I’m feeling the mohabbot buzz

Ron H

obligatory mel is the best post

Ernie

I think Robby is thinking about future events regarding putting the blame on someone, especially considered it's circumstantial evidence for premeditated murder. Robby basically said "go ahead and fix this because your actions has reactions/consequences" and we shouldn't let our own biases get ahead of our judgements because it could escalate to future baseless accusations. (In this case, he was right) He's bias because he also has a son and he's thinking such rumors could ruin a boys life. While also minimizing the girls life. Personally I would take a utilitarian approach and let a boys life get "ruined" for a short period, instead of several girls losing their life forever. Also let's factor in that these behaviour isn't anomalies, we have seen young boys commit similar crimes, so i wouldn't take those red flags lightly.

Crystal

Mind you, ROBBY WAS THE ONE WHO TOLD THE COPS DAVID HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE SHOOTING BRUH.

Crystal

Yea so that IS in fact a crime. If u post some cryptic shit about wanting to shoot up a school or some shit, the cops can and will get your ass. There was this kid in my college who made a joke about planting a bomb on campus and cops dragged his ass out of class in front of his classmates and professor. Planning for violence and having a list of specific people you wanna take out isn’t just a “thought crime”. It’s a plan, it’s intent, and it is a punishable offense

I.C.Y

The thing with David is that the bigger you make these issues, the worse the outcome generally is. McKay does need to know what actually happens when you are wrong; you make a significantly angrier person. He could have been more open to it as time went on, but the weight of what they did to him is what builds distrust of his mother, the police, hospitals, and the system as a whole. So there was a better way to go about it, but McKay went to the immediate extreme. You have millions of angry people writing things; it doesn't mean each person needs to be made to be the ultimate problem. Also McKay is now feeling the same shame she put David through with public humiliation.

I.C.Y

He could have been more open to it as time went on, but the weight of what they did to him is what builds distrust of his mother, the police, hospitals, and the system as a whole.

Kreed

I agree with Sheera, I don't think Robby's response is a statement on who was right or wrong on how the situation was handled; it just reflects the reality of the situation. Realistically, because of the police being called and the police handling him, now he is primed AGAINST treatment. It's interesting that this storyline is controversial because we've seen this exact same situation play out multiple times over the season - multiple scenarios of doctors ignoring proper procedure to try and save lives and in any SINGLE one of those situations, had a patient died from the unorthodox, that Doctor's career and life would've been OVER. It's just that prior to this, the show gives you the best possible outcome with life or death patients BUT with the living patients, it's almost NEVER successful, which they show. The trafficking victim stays in her situation, the potential molester goes home scott-free, the abused mom leaves before she can get help, the addict dad can still sue the hospital if he wishes and similarly, now David is more likely NOT to accept help and might now actively become a danger in the future if he believes that is what is expected of him. Personally, I'm with McKay, the stakes are too high so I'll live with calling the cops but now that David isn't the shooter, REALISTICALLY, she has to attempt to deal with the mess made. Brilliantly written.

Kreed

Langdon x Mel supremacy 👏. Dude needs to get a divorce finalized

faye.

nah Dr. Mckay did the right thing! Robby initially didn’t care about the girls that could be affected & was only worried abt the son’s life being “ruined”. Writing an elimination list is a threat & should be treated as such. Robby was dragging his feet because of his bias to the son. Then in the end he thought that there was a possibility it could’ve been the son. Temporarily “ruining” someone’s life vs multiple girls dying bc of lack of urgency or concern. It is better to be safe than sorry!

Justin Stievenart

The issue of thought crime is a big deal I feel. I can’t tell you if David broke any laws, but once cops are involved, all nuance is gone. People with mental health issues, who are otherwise non violent are killed all the time, because people call the police, and police are not trained to deal with mental health. Robbie is right at the end. McKay jumped the gun. Robbie should have pushed for psyche earlier, but McKay definitely skipped to brute force.

Afrobushidohub

The guy playing McKay's Dad in this episode, is the actress Fiona Douriff real life father Brad Douriff who plays Chucky the killer doll in the Chucky films

Rah

I definitely share the same sentiment with Roshi. It’s the fact that Robby was trying to deter any blame onto McKay whatsoever when she was doing her job and ethic duty of reporting a potentially mass shooter to the authorities to try and prevent the tragedy is gnarly.

Joseph

oh this tragic hucklerobby plateeeeeee

Mervyn Larrier

Santos' problem is her arrogance is entirely tired to her (mis)treatment of others. Yes, Langdon fucked up and was in deep shit. That was NOT her business to share, let alone in front of the rest of their colleagues while they're trying to work on a patient. I've seen someone claim that the reason people dislike her is because of misogyny, but what about Mel, Shabadi, Mohan, McKay? Any of the rest of our female staff? People's problem with Trinity is that she's far too immature in her behavior at the workplace.

DIOR

Rosh gon hate season 2 robby

Bria A.

You should see the current tidal wave of bullshit being directed at Samira (and Supriya herself) online as we speak in defense of Robby (and Noah), so yeah... maybe not in this Patreon specifically, but I do still think the underlying issue with Santos is misogyny, purely in the sense of "you would be more entertained by these exact personality traits in a man". Mixed with some base level "no one can handle nuance anymore and this is the most abrasive a character can get* before people start getting scared" -- but then I think of characters like House and Shaun Murphy, and people (including myself in House's case at least) still love them despite their similar and sometimes more severe abrasiveness. * - not even a whole lot.

Mervyn Larrier

I knew there was a chance when I wrote that that there would be someone who came in with evidence of people disappointing me. I didn't get the Robbie can do no wrong people. He does wrong all the time interpersonally

Mervyn Larrier

Like, personally, Karev from Grey's Anatomy disgusts me. I've never gotten over that locker room shit and i don't understand how he wasn't booted from his residency program for gross sexual harrassment

NiyaNii

though i agree we have to be realistic. in real life, a white teenage boy with a kill list isn't getting any lashes anyway. if anything it's very known that you can't go the police with something thats not conrete evidence of a plan being put in place. all david had was a list, not a fully fledged plan, not hidden weapons or stalker like things. just a list and unfortunately thats not enough for the police to do anything with bc at the end of the day, it's speculation whether he'll go through with it or not, the only thing they can do, which was mentioned, was put him on a psych hold which his mother can legally do and should do. but again, the police can't and probably wont do anything, it's no different than women going to the police about stalkers but them not doing anything bc he hasnt ' harmed ' her.

faye.

i understand that there was no concrete evidence of david following through w the list. However, my point is mckay is not wrong for wanting to get the police involved regardless of knowing david’s intentions. The fact that there is a list is a cause for concern. Robby making it mckay’s problem to “fix” is odd esp when he informed the police to question the mother about david’s possible involvement w the mass casualty!

NiyaNii

Well yes bc everyone thought it could’ve been David, the circumstance pointed to him, he was a suspect like the fat man with a gun was until the background checked him. We do have to remember that Robby agreed with McKay, he told her that she corrected him about it earlier and she was right to get the police involved but now that she was wrong, he had every right to tell her to fix it regardless of how he said it, me personally didn’t care how he said it bc of the events and not even McKay took it that way. McKay said she would take full responsibility for her decision so he held her to that, sheera has a point in saying that even thought she was valid and did the right thing, it still caused David to now not trust his mother or want to talk about anything.

xLithion

But he didn't post it, his mom found it hidden in his private things in his room. It's like if the cops could go through your private diary and arrest you if you said you hate someone so much you wish they were dead. He didn't say he planned to kill them, just that they should be eliminated.

xLithion

Just for example also i have heard people wish one political figure or another was dead, not that they were planning to kill them, just wishing they weren't around. Doesn't mean i can go have anyone arrested who sais that

Teejay

I kinda agree more in regards to sheera about the Robby and McKay stuff, still though I honestly feel this is human. Like everything happening is how a human can react but not will react.

ViralCorgi

I'm side-eyeing the plot line with the teen. The push to frame an aggressively misogynistic young man that has expressed malicious intent as just a lonely, misunderstood, pitiful boy that's just in need of love, support, and a listening ear is dangerous. That's the type of enablement that allow these boys to grow into deranged psychos. I'll wait to see where they go with this...

PJ Rivera

I gave up I bought the collection worth it

James Noël

I mean he's pretty broke at this point in the day. He's lashing out unfairly but I'll give him a pass with how much he is dealing with

Joe Crammond

fun fact if you don't know already, McKay's father is played by Brad Douriff, the voice of Chucky, his daughter Fiona plays McKay

Joe Crammond

don't know if YaBoyRoshi have done the films and tv series but would love to see them do it, especially as Fiona appears in later additions

Brian Sexton

I believe it's also schedule based, since she was there an hour or two after she was supposed to be at home

Tina L

This is why I loved it as a story choice. Robby is a good leader, but he isnt perfect and we've witnessed him make mistakes and forget his own advice all day, and it's ended with consequences that he is also mishandling. It's a very realistic response to the situation. Despite having one or two points, his doesnt negate McKay's points but because he is the boss his solution to have her "fix it" ends up being the answer.

ShaquanVirse

No Fuck Robby!!!! He deserves no grace at all. His final say is that McKay was wrong? FUCK IS ROBBY ON ABOUT? McKay was right cause bro its a fucking list of girls who he COULD'VE killed. Yes he didn't do it but bro fuck that shit, you take no chances in a situation like this. If the kid is innocent then he gets the help he needs plus he'll be free and no jail time. Its a win-win situation in telling the cops plus others and getting him help

Konasuba

Absolutely love Mel and Whitaker

Mxri

Me and Sheera practically in shambles every episode

Jeff

I'm not positive but in all the hospitals I've been in, wireless communications are very inconsistent. And I would imagine the device losing contact, even in a safe zone, would trigger it. It can't know it's location without pinging something regularly. I suspect there is no reasonable solution, aside from whatever governing body that determined it's use being more aware of the device's limitations and figuring out a more appropriate action.

Mxri

32:40 Girl thanks to him now I know your name 14 eps later

Squaler

Santos thought. lol

Anthony

I really love the little talks at the ended to discuss certain things on the episode.

Squaler

He could’ve been writing a song. 🤣 It wasn’t clear whether he wrote that in a piece of paper and left it out in the living room or his journal diary or whatever and the mom went snooping.

Princess Sakura

no? It was a LIST of NAMES written in his journal. Written in it, was names of girls in HIS CLASS. Thank God, she snooped.

Princess Sakura

like you Dad sadly passed away during Covid so now you're sad and you're writing names of girls from your class to kill? Why put your hatred on girls that did nothing to you !

Princess Sakura

i hope he felt shame about wanting to kill girls in his class.

LaTesha

Robby's flaws and how he treats others when he tries to prove his way is the right way is coming out more and more now. Yes he was right about the kid not being the shooter but he's leaning way too hard into McKay being wrong when what she did was practical with the information she had. Its better to be proven wrong in this situation rather than right.

Smitty Werbenjägermanjensen

Roshi's spitting, and I feel like Robby knows that too. I just feel like he needed someone to blame, because of all the stuff piling up on him (imo)

Jamaal Ellison

Notice how he was looking at McKay every time she spoke to him, he only really popped off spicy to her. He has an issue with women, and I hate that Robby's so dismissive of that.

bark

He wrote it in his diary and it said it was a list of girls he wanted to eliminate lol

Britni Williams

As an ER doc, Robby is 100% wrong in this situation. In these matters we are mandatory reporters, and we don’t get to worry/feel bad about the consequences. It is up to the psychiatrists and federal authorities to determine outcome, but the second a person shows intent to harm self or others, we are required to report. Robby is acting misogynistic towards McKay and I imagine his thoughts could’ve been different if the kid was someone other than a white male. And the statistics of mass shooters being mentally ill white males are extremely high.

Tbdovan

Yeah...white teen boy don't want to mess up his future even though he shows some very dangerous signs to cause harm to women...we see this in the real world.

Jovan

Bruh ik im not trippin is that dude that voices chucky as the grandpa

Just Gene

I mean, it's literally just a thought on paper. They had no evidence he was the one that hurt him. So the kid is absolutely not to blame. And they shouldn't have said anything about it to the police. What they can do as doctors is hold him for that 72 hours, as they are now, with his mother's permission. That time is for assessing mental status and whether or not a person is a danger to themselves or others. David's case was handles horribly by everyone involved here.

✊🏾🎮

I believe it’s all about sticking it through to the end .. McKay was incorrect that he was shooter, and once they got that information she couldn’t care less about the situation. Robby is just making it so that she finishes what was started. She should equally care about the potential girls he could’ve harmed and for the mental health and future of the boy.

Raymond Terry

Blue man group kid had me rolling.

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

i like how they show bits and pieces with the other staff too, like with esme and the janitorial squad :( its rly gotta b rough for everyone in that enviornment

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

i get that robbys tryna hammer home the whole jumping to conclusions thing (or in this case yk...drawing valid connections and weighing the risk of action vs inaction given the circumstances...) but the way that he pulled mckay in there to play 'bad cop' or whatever to a boy who already had a hit list of specifically /girls/ and now has a /woman/ questioning him while the man in the room stands there scratching his chin with his 'i know's and not backing her up even a bit...ohhh, it grated my nerves 🫩 like he already has a bias and were what? tryna hammer it home?? b so fkn fr rn 😭

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

not the touch grass double whammy 😭 the 'oh lord' got me lmao, sheera was quick to make sure this wasnt another pittfest promo moment lol

Mike A

Robby is not a mental health professional, he's not qualified to determine David's mental state. We do know his own mother was so concerned about him that she made herself sick to trick him into the hospital. Once Robby brushed off McKay's concerns about a kid having a literal Kill List, her only option was to go to the police. The potential consequences of doing nothing FAR outweigh the potential consequences of calling the cops in this situation. Robby is 100% in the wrong.

Mike A

Robby using a mass shooting event as an "I told you so" to McKay is fucking WILD. Robby is a great doctor but that dude fucking sucks.

Saki 🏴‍☠️✨❤️‍🔥

im glad roshi wasnt down with the david case bs 🫩 like what kinda message r we sending making out mckay to b the bad guy for taking threats seriously in such a scenario where the guys own mother is worried that her son could be responsible? robby hurry and hop off that high horse before it kicks u off, smfh

David Kaim

you are right. network engineer here. wireless is difficult in hospitals. alot of air interference between the maschines and the moving metal from the bets and stuff. we know the cellphone network was overwhelmed also.

Diggs

They're all pretty fucked up from the day and job in general. There's no excuse to take your anger out on another worker when you didn't handle the situation like you're suppose to.

Narybasmati

sheera's right at the end, roshi just can't understand they had a clash for a deicision SHE made on her own, giving the context it's understandable but the reality is she literally made a mistake so it's normal for her to fix it.

Hybrid10Prime

11:44 That brudda is Orokin blue, wtf

Diggs

There's better ways to go about it but Robby essentially shrugged McKay and her worries off multiple times. You don't get to have a kill list for girls in your class and then not have it reported to the authorities. Robby's way did not work and he should've reported it as soon as he heard about it and at the latest when David ran from the hospital. There's no situation where you can argue that Robby handled this better than McKay.

Diggs

An er doc in the comments says otherwise and if a therapist or such was to see a list of people he wanted to hurt they're required to report that too. I just had a conversation with my friends about this yesterday as they tell you this before any session starts.

Mateaugst085

McKay was right when she called the cops on the boy but she also had to face the consequences of her decision. Just like Robby would have to if the boy was the shooter. There is no consequence free decision in this case, only the lesser of two bad endings.

AmityBloaf

Shera COOKED with that last conversation. My thoughts to the letter when I watched this last year... McKay was also taking out her frustration and biases on the kid cause her ex treated her badly, and she's hostile and goes to the worst case scenario on men that resemble her ex, white, curly hair, skaterboy type.

AmityBloaf

Ima give Roshi grace on that last convo cause aint no way hes thinking how far the implications of that could go.. If you walking down the street, sagging your pants, and singing outloud some Rap song, yelling out obscenities. The Cops SHOULD tackle tf outta you and detained you. It's YOUR fault for breaking the law, you should know better than to disturb the peace and public nudity (Wild example but think about it)

mercury_black17

I like how this boy is having mental health issues and needing help and he didn’t even kill anyone but the people in the comments treating him like a monster that need to be shame but Lindsey kill her 3 kids got love by millions of women just bc she a woman and that boy a man

‎ ‎ ‎

CHUCKY!!!!!!!!! 12:10 . I just the other episode said she looked like his real life daughter and now he’s here lmaooo. Brad Dourif is the GOAT

Jeffison

we don't know why exactly those girls, it could be they are bullying him or anything. seems weird to just write a kill list about just random girls, he must have SOME reason but unsure on why exactly.

AresReborn

I don’t agree I’m on David’s side on this one see yall are thinking from the outsider point of view but in David’s shoes he hasn’t done anything wrong yes was he acting emotionally immature when he made that list sure but has he actually done anything and yet McKay was ready to call the cops on had him handcuffed and locked in iso made everyone think he was the shooter and he got injured in that process while Robby wanted to sit him down and talk to him and she still wouldn’t budge her personal experience with another man overrode her logical and empathetic thinking here and even logically no one is willing to listen to u in handcuffs but if treated like a human an 18 year old that has a good history with taking care of his mom and regularly attending school isn’t a trouble maker would probably be willing to sit down and listen especially if Robby was to be the one to sit him down oh and not to mention is just after him losing his father so tack that one and this is making him more of a villain than he actually is

PetersThimble

You literally have ot report it as a provider if you know that someone is making threats towards someone. It is actually against the law to NOT report so McKay was right. IDK why they wrote this like that

PetersThimble

The storyline with the kid with names was VERY poorly written. As a mandated reporter (therapist, doctor, medical provider) you literally HAVE to report if someone makes threats against another person. Those are the facts and the law (At least in Cali). Im a therapist and Ive made police calls all the time. Thats just the job because you do not ever know if that one time you DONT make the call, can result in someone's death. McKay was correct

Leu

That's the point. Robby refused to say something when he absolutely needed to. Due to personal reasons or biases some professional irl will refuse to say something even when it's 100% necessary to do so. It's not bad writing. It's a well written character with a flaw.

Kaylein Ontashia

To sheera’s point, even though Robbie disagreed to mckay’s call to get the police involved, McKay gave Robbie, HER BOSS, the time and option to call the police about this even after the shooting happened she still kept asking him what he was going to do and he dragged his feet even when he started to doubt himself about the boy too. He wasn’t sure but he’s making it look as if he was 100% sure the boy wasn’t the culprit in front of McKay when he wasn’t. He literally did throw it back in mckay’s face about her choice. She didn’t do anything wrong. She reported a concern to her boss, didn’t go above him to Gloria, waited for Robbie to make a decision, kept asking him to make a decision, and when he didn’t, she did. She gave Robbie chances to make a choice and Robbie wanted to put the boy above the girls names on the list. Also to mckay’s monitor, It’s actually really sad how the police aren’t understanding of doctors/nurses circumstances when it comes to mass incidents. Police aren’t known to be understanding anyway but the show really emphasizes how much they suck and can’t think for themselves or the person’s circumstances. Also really shows how much the law is flawed ONCE AGAIN

tiff

dang bro not only am i gonna be clapped under a speaker tower at touchgrass music fest happening october 3rd 2026 in orlando florida, i’m also gonna get measles

Kinah

Im with Roshi. You’re not going to try to make me feel bad because I wanted to be cautious. The risk was way too big to just be letting that kid out in the wild allllll day.

Jaelyn Mcgee

and he was worm tongue in the lotr movies (I know it's a long shot, but I would love if they were able to get a trio reaction to that)

ky

@sqauler nah it was pretty clear it was a list of girls bro..

qitty

Roshi I'm 100% with you about the Robby vs. McKay situation, because he was moving crazy this episode. How is he gonna preach about better outlets and mental health protections for young boys episodes ago (which is fine) but then come to the conclusion this episode to send McKay, a woman, to go deal with this young boy who obviously has misplaced anger and misogyny against women. Of course he's not gonna fucking listen to her and that's somehow McKay's fault?! SIR? You're the man in this situation who cares so damn much about this boy, you go handle it as an example. Just took that whole situation to be petty af because he's mentally checked out from the trauma of the day right before this, he was completely in the wrong for that and failed that boy just as much as he thinks McKay did. And even then, she did nothing wrong! Robby's hindsight is 20/20 but he didn't do shit to prevent anything, at least she tried something lmfao. That whole conclusion pissed me off when I saw it the first time because while you can take away Robby is projecting his mental health issues in the moment, the narrative itself comes across like he's ultimately in the right and that's that for that storyline lmao.

MyDude SnakePlisskin

No. That isn't how that works. People write things all the time that sound way more dramatic than what they actually are. ESPECIALLY teenagers. Getting the cops involved was the wrong move. His mom had already signed the mandatory psychiatric hold. McKay was taking her own trauma and projecting it onto the kid who was already in the process of getting some help. Instead, he had the cops tackle him to the ground and injure him, pretty much guaranteeing that he is going to turn out to be a criminal. The kid needed help, not to be attacked by cops. McKay fucked up.

So Tired

I’m pretty sure you missed the whole point. Just because the writer pointing out flaws of a character doesn’t make it bad writing. It’s intentional.

So Tired

Are you dead ass? Are you that blind? This is how corruption starts in the medical field because one doesn’t want to speak up. If you see something like what Santos saw you need to speak up and she did the right thing. It’s really interesting how you focus only on her but water down Langdon flaws just by saying “Langdon fucked up and was in deep shit” BUT ahh comment.

So Tired

People like you should never work in the medical field because this will not be allowed. what she did was 100% in the right you must report shit like that. There’s no if ands or but. Disgusting.

hyakimaru dono

Who whole paragraph still didn't give any justification on what the boy did.... so what if they were bullies??? That still doesn't give an excuse for murder.

So Tired

How can you be this ignorant it does not matter if she was incorrect all that matters was that she reported it unlike Robby. if you see some shit like that you need to report it, there’s no if ands or but. Robby is in the wrong for keeping it private, people like you would do this and then wonder why the shooter did what they did. Shit like this happens in real life you know. Also, why lie about when she got the information she couldn’t care less, which was the complete opposite. Go at 34:31. She kept reassuring him, but he kept refusing help.

So Tired

Just loud and wrong. He’s treated like a monster because he made those posts and writings, plus he’s refusing help. Boy or girl they would’ve got flamed in the comments. And your misogyny is showing by saying Lindsay was loved by millions of women, which is completely incorrect. Women are out on this, there is no defending her actions. People are going after the doctors and the government for refusing her help. In case you didn’t know, Lindsay claims that she asked for help multiple times for her mental health issues, but they refused to help. The whole talking point is about how doctors water down and even refuse actual help to women in general who go through mental health struggles.

So Tired

This is not about stepping into his shoes. This is them being adults and responding to it professionally and what she did was in the right that is what you’re supposed to do. You can’t just feel for the guy, he’s an adult who made a list of hurting girls in his classroom that is a terrorist threat. Shit like this happens in the real life and adults don’t take it serious and they wonder why those school shooters do what they do.

So Tired

This comment is loud and wrong. She did not make a mistake. She did the right thing which is what you’re supposed to do in the first place in the real world. In the real world, you don’t keep it private you’re supposed to report it. Mind you after she found out about this. She didn’t went straight to the cops. She told her boss by the way, and waited for his actions which he poorly done so she took it up to herself and reported it rightfully so. imagine if this was your kid how would you feel? A little alone how would you feel for a doctor to not report to the officers and that this random guy has your child’s name written on a kill sheet?

Narybasmati

Literally said in this context it’s understandable for her to do this choice but she assumed wrong. I’m not mad at her it was just for her to fix it nothing more

✊🏾🎮

😐…… “34:31” which is after Robby told her to meet him in the room the guy was being held in… she wasn’t planning on going in there before Robby told her to. And not once did I bring up that it shouldn’t have been reported . You illiterate bot

Danielle

Thank you Roshi it looks like he isn’t gonna fuck with Robby’s bullshit in the future cause he is an asshole

Kris Barnes

McKay really should have just called the police or gone to the bathroom or stepped outside instead of damaging the ankle monitor. Yes she was essential in saving lives but she’s gonna fuck up her own life in the process.

Lin Fei

She did almost get him SUPPPERRR jammed up or if it had gone worse with some more unstable cops he couldve died so McKay had some fortune on her side, same as Robby

Lin Fei

Imagine it had been more careless cops in the situation that ended up murdering David. Would u still be saying the same thing?

ShaquanVirse

But did he die though? What kinda stupid reply is that? The kid made a fucking hit list so call the fucking cops!!! If cops killed him that's an entirely different discussion. So you telling me if a nigga wrote your daughter name on the hit list, you dont want cops involved?

ShaquanVirse

I dont think yall understand a fucking list and the damn significance? That's a fucking threat my nigga!! A list is a fucking threat!! What if you was a parent and yo daughters name was on this damn list? You not doing nothing?

Alex

Not chuckyy

Delinda Arts

McKay did nothing wrong whatsoever. Lil mans was giving incel/school shooter. i think Robbie wasn't in the right mind when he had a lil attitude towards McKay. i agree with roshi that shit was shitty af

Delinda Arts

im sorry but do the police not have working eyes and brains??? this why im on my acab shit bc they didnt see her working on trauma patients?? idk that's a bit weird to me.

Resident_Evil_Doer

Mm I'm gonna agree to disagree bc that's not rly fair. If u wanna talk about jumping to conclusions we've seen santos do it like thrice, mckay was just validly saying they should report a potential dangerous situation. Even robby thought he might have committed the mass shooting so it wasn't just her thinking he was possibly dangerous. And with today's statistics I don't think it's ridiculous bc u get dramatic in elementary but not in high school, most ppl know better than to write smthn like that. All I'm saying is mckay wasn't wrong for thinking of the broader spectrum of the impact this dude could have if he just got to go home and do as he pleases. Mckay wasn't right in the end, but all the blame is in no way on her

Marcie

yessss my only ship in this show

NAh im wit Sheera I see both sides
