Pit special? Like intubation? Those are the patients that need surgery, it makes sense that there’s a lot. The show doesn’t treat intubation as a cure and end goal, but it is preparation for the next step.

Word. About a decade ago I had a co-worker that I absolutely hated working with. I can get along with anyone, but this mf got on my last nerve and I'd end up snapping any time I was around him. I tried to get him to fight me and he wouldn't and it just made me ever more upset 😂 So while it's inexcusable, I totally understand Robby being extra spicy with Langdon — sometimes being around certain people will make you step outside of your character if you're not in a headspace to rise above it, and we see that Robby is clearly struggling in general.

Robbie needs to have a convo or step off. At this point it’s like you just be hating on him because it’s easier than talking about your feelings. Frank mess up, and he is recovering and doing the steps. If he didn’t want him he should just thrown him to the board and the police the moment he found out about the Benzoos. This passive aggressiveness is borderline aggressive. Totally get where he is coming from, Robbie, but if this was too much then he should like legit pack up his bags and dip. Love the flaws they giving Robbie and not making him a total MC everyone agrees with or out of proportion just a guy. It’s not like the Pitt has him around 24/7. It could do without him. Step up or step down.

Had prisoners come in all the time when I worked at the hospital whenever they got transferred to surgery it was handcuffs to zip ties otherwise if they were in the room they were always cuffed to the bed had a CO punch an inmate one time and I had to call the warden of the prison to come handle it

His flaws were more subtle at first and kept ramping up in each episode. He treats his staff differently often showing favoritism, he rarely leaves his baggage at the door like he tells the other staff, he holds grudges to the point passive agressiveness leads to being out right agressive. It's good that he's not perfect but he's got too much going on. I hope growth happens for the character next season.

He is doing the exact opposite of what he tells the staff, leave your baggage at the door. He plays favorites and then treats you funny when you fall out of his favor. The man definitely holds grudges. If this was an issue then you should have packed Langdon up then. He also needs to stop avoiding therapy, because it's clear he's got too much going on to be this agressive during this shift even with the new attending and Langdon coming back.

yeah i mean the parents r already working multiple jobs and yet stretched so thin that the dads taking half doses of insulin, meanwhile they got a kid (whos probably nearing college age, if she wanted to go) to provide for too :(( the whole situations so sad and it really sucks that in so many life or death situations things can still be boiled down to money

The incarcerated guy storyline is rough. unless you already understand how horrible the prison system is in the U.S. as well as how people in prison are viewed by society at large, then you would think the worst of him first. Rather then seeing him as a patient in need a help while the guard is doing the most for someone who clearly is beyond just being hurt. If you think he gonna just start stabbing or try to escape than that's likely you seeing him as something like a movie or show bad guy ready to strike. i get it but the show does good to challenge those who's first thought at the sight of an orange jumpsuit is danger danger danger.
