Afrobushidohub

Lmao I just made a joke about asking for 1 more dosage from Doctor Roshi and Nurse Sheera on the last episode...I don't mind if they need to Interbate 🥴

Nicolle B

Louis's actor won an Emmy for his performance.

Anna Leigh

One thing I like is how Oglevy got humbled at the end. Cause he was very callous about Louie cause he didnt know him. He just knew a drunk who had it coming cause he didnt quit drinking and then at the end he realized how much trauma he was dealing with and was reminded that the patience are human.

Afrobushidohub

I know Big Louie is making everyone laugh in heaven 🙏

Afrobushidohub

To answer Sheera question yes, once a person has died, the body let's go of any excess air, or nerve tingles it had before the body passed. I've heard of deceased bodies sighing even making noises that sounds like they are still talking. Of course with the normal "letting go of waste" or the twitching. Its so weird what the body does during death but t makes sense

xLithion

The smart nurse with the braid you guys asked about is the nurse from season 1 who was super nice/flirty with huckleberry. She is my favorite

Bria A.

I've already seen this episode once before, and completely didn't realize the woman with terminal cancer is played by Dexter's mom in Original Sin.

nerro91

1 more please

Summer

How does one purchase the full collection?

Wes

Ngl this episode triggered me, it truly never gets easy especially when you bond with your patients on a deep level

Ronnie

17:18 sometimes dead bodies can move/twitch and even exhale due to muscles contracting/retracting upon death. That sigh was just air being expelled from Louis's lungs when they turned him

Natalia S.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but the lady with cancer is Popclaw from The Boys lol

britt

I think in Robby's mind also the prisoner clearly did something for him to be in that position so he doesn't really care to go above and beyond

These Plums

Got intubated yesterday for my eye surgery. Throat hurts like a mf. PAUSE

Mel Renee

omg thank you! i couldn't figure out where i was recognizing her from and kept forgetting to look it up after lol

Devin reid

On S1E1 of this rewatch I thought of this episode, had to prepare myself. Poor Louie

Mr. Toastman

Oh right, this was the nurse appreciation episode

Han

I love when nurses get appreciated!

When it comes to using Gen AI for charting, we do have to look at the error rate between that and dictation/typing to see whether it's better. It'll probably also depend on the person for whether or not it is helpful as some may find it as an improvment compared to when they're doing the charting themselves and vice versa. Perhaps there's a higher error rate with dictation/typing by virtue of the doctor making mistakes but Gen AI feels a lot worse because you're not the one in control of it. It's the same issue with self driving cars. Even if self driving cars have a very low error rate, there will be people who will not like how there's still a chance that the self driving car will cause an accident even if human driving has a higher chance of causing an accident (I don't know the stats, I'm just saying a hypothetical). It's because you don't feel in control with self driving cars compared to driving yourself.

13:24 the way my heart dropped to my asshole because I thought something terrible was coming their way lmao

ViralCorgi

This was a rough ep. Took me a few tries to get through. RIP Louie.

Ebronics

Ebronics

ijust saw that! good for him. he did a lot with a little screen time

Ebronics

thank you i was so confused. she came out of nowhere lol

Jamaal Ellison

Yeah Sheera, dead bodies actually make sounds; they intubated Louis and pumped him full of air, so when they moved him, it was just that air escaping. In the morgue, bodies twitch because of rigor mortis or residual electrical signals in the brain. It’s pretty creepy, but it happens all the time. It's called the Lazarus effect, and even though movies make it look supernatural, it's just a natural part of death.

Everyone (myself included) has the reaction to the woman who needs an interpreter. American Sign Language is its own thing, for some English is actually their second language. Asking her to just type things out is like trying to talk to someone who has French as their first language. They may not be fluent in English and with health stuff you really want to be sure you're being understood correctly.

Robby and Dr Al-Hashimi are both thinking about efficient and effective hospital management in their own ways in order to best help their patients. Robby is more focused on the front-end (getting patients seen and out the door quickly in order to free up more beds for new patients) and Dr Al-H is more back end (getting charting done efficiently so it frees up doctors to see patients and improves QoL so people don't have to stay late). It's all rooted in enhancing patient experience, but their individual focuses blinds them to things that the other one sees.

The way the boy is talking about “they don’t want him to pass the bar”. It sounds like he’s hearing voices and has schizophrenia. Heartbreaking disease. I have family members with it.

FYI the girl who can’t move and stuff with the short haircut is pop claw from the boys
