2026-10-28 00:00 The leading theory is that Asami either got tricked or lied to Korra about spirit energy and every haven is built on top of the old “nuclear plants” that were siphoning straight from the Earths Chakras and that’s what Pavi started to unlock. This one is the Root Chakra obviously.

I dont think Asami would get tricked or lie to Korra, but I think she died of natural causes and whoever took over afterwards started using and abusing the spirit world n korra had to basically hit the reset button

Cold_Cyber

Can anybody advise me if i shouild watch avatar seven havens? I dont like how it looks idk the style or something. But does this series still have any magic left from the original avatar? if so i would want to give it a try.

Jalan

The girl with the tattoo on her face is Mai Ling from Warrior

slavicandsapphic

I would as i think the animation is truly its only downside imo. The voice acting and storytelling reminds me a lot of the original avatar so if thats what you loved the most, you will get it! I think like. TLOK had great animation; but because studios rushed the creators, we have a lackluster story thats caused a lot of debate in the fandom fr. A7H i think learned its lesson with storytelling, but just didn’t have the budget for better animation. (And before anyone brings up budget being bigger, i remind everyone of inflation and most of that budget being just to pay the shareholders and not animation companies. Late stage capitalism is a hellhole)

GameGod

I bet Jae is gonna go to feather mountain and get his tattoos

Rikudo Demeko

Is Agam their mom or aunt? I get those vibes

LeFlaneur

Avatar universe tech bros ended the world abusing spirit energy and Korra got blamed for it.

2026-10-27 03:00 This show is really shaping up to an industry standard in the next 4 years. I was hesitant at first, but the characterizations and personality is already better than TLOK. So much different mysteries and things that I am curious about. Im really loving the dynamic between the girls, very Aang and Korra-esque as well.

The lore is good and honestly the characters are growing on me but like you pointed out the art style is too stiff, plus the choreography when they fight is too simplistic.

Devin B

Definitely not their mom, idk about her being their aunt because she would've made a comment about Pavi and Nisha's looks

P3rcy

“The Brigade’s best”

Bria A.

"Auntie" as in colloquial cultural language. Black people very commonly call older Black women they're close to or familiar with "auntie" even if they're just family friends, and the same is true of South Asians. Agam gave her family backstory, and neither of the twins' parents seem to be from Ellora proper at all.

Harug_

Man I miss the Far East themes, this feels like a completely different universe

Reggie bringit

I feel like Karthik does know Jae is playing them and helping make it feel real.

"oh no you got patched"

I love the dichotomy between Nisha being the more physically capable avatar and Pavi being the more spiritually attuned. I think that's probably why Nisha got blasted the way she did 'cause she has too much fear and being burdened by responsibility, her lost memories, and more. I can't wait til we get to the moment that they both teach each other how to be better avatars

Hyperion17XV

It's honestly not bad. Just gotta hope that they improve on the animation the next season and even the soundtrack is starting to stick. Even the story, though a little basic, is fairly intriguing. Gotta keep in mind that even if it feels very kiddy, so did ATLA Book 1 so you may just have to let the writers cook.

Sharon Aluko

The anomaly represents a chakra (from what I am gathering, I think). So it was a path to all 7 chakras, possibly representing the havens. I am not sure. I love the mystery that is going on in this show, though. It was not something that was truly focused on with the past series, so I am really impressed.

Jonathan Hart

Kayoko should be thankful Agam is not like Zaheer. She would've been packed this episode with all that bullshit🤣

KTRB7

Nisha!! We need your animation back, lmfaooo.

damn karthik got fine

Wolfie Warlock

What if Korra (Vaatu), had to split into two separate beings to restore balance between the Spirit World and the physical world. Previous Avatars struggled to maintain that balance because a single Avatar couldn't fully serve both worlds. This could explain why Pavi inherited the spiritual side and can see the chakras, while Nisha represents the physical side and perceives the mysterious cave. What if the entire story actually takes place in the Spirit World (explains shortage of benders and generally low bending powers), with the Havens representing the seven chakras that need to be unlocked? Perhaps this is exactly what Korra intended, and she's guiding them toward that goal through the Anomalies. *Edited You can actually see Anomali accepting Pavi and rejecting Nisha. Is Pavi true Avatar and Nisha is her ,,lost,, leg? Something is happening there. I find it hard to belive that Pavi will be ,,good,, Avatar and Nisha ,,bad,, one.

Teejay

Damn I feel bad for both Nisha and pavi

Drake Chuckle

Karthik understood, he was just leaning into it for sure

ThatOneGuy

So benders are attacked by faceless and do nothing, benders gang up on a terrified 9 year old that just helped you against said faceless oh wow all of a sudden we are competent… bro burn down the whole haven atp these niggas are useless.

James

I’m really liking how morally grey the show is so far when it comes to the characters and the stances they choose and how it’s not just straight-up bad guys. After looking at some takes, I can see how everyone has a point, and everyone is a little wrong because of the hyperfocus on their own points. Like, Elora is wrong for conscripting children and anyone that is a bender into the brigade, but their motivation being that there are fewer benders shows to an extent that it's necessary and that the storms are no joke. There was probably a time where people weren't conscripted years ago. The faceless are acting in their own selfish interests that are hurting those around them that they may care about. Including abandoning their non-bender friends and family on some wild goose chase of a quest, but some were conscripted into a military force they never wanted to be a part of. What they wanted to do with their lives never mattered when it should’ve mattered to the leaders. Also facing the fact joining the brigade could be a death sentence and traumatic for someone sucks. From what the show has shown so far, it seems like if you're in the brigade even reaching the age of 30 can be gamble since many of them are young. I would be stressed to dealt the hand of being a brigade member and everything they're ordered to do.  The White Lotus are right for believing in the Avatar, trying to raise and place their bets on the Avatar for fixing the world. But they’re putting too much on the shoulder of little girls. Even worse than how the monks were doing Aang at 12 years old. They’re like 9. Elora's problems could reasonably be solved with some better management and consideration. Like a union, or some system where people go on "tours" of duty in the brigade and live their own lives outside of it. The Faceless is the result of a system that failed them and mixed with an unfortunate environmental circumstance. The council already knows that there are few benders in Ellora, and yet they rely on them for every single problem they have. They literally work as the military, do construction work, etc. Some of these things could've been given to non-benders. Why are the average non-benders not being trained to help as much as they realistically can as well? I feel bad for Kayoko because she does care for Elora and is being whiplashed on all sides. But she’s incredibly insufferable to me as a leader. When she takes a moment to think she locks in well and is really reliable especially when compared to the other leaders seen so far, but when standing on hill she’s on some nonsense. Refusing to get help from other Havens or shift the way things run until the fan says, "Oh crap." They could've gotten help from Akasha, adopt some new technology, arm their non-benders to lessen the skill gap, or maybe even just respond a little better to the complaints. For a leader right now, her conflict-resolution skills must be set to trash and below. It sucks, but she can't really think straight with everything going on now. Needs to be demoted her to civilian if she can’t hang on well enough and move better than this. I do hate the faceless right now, because it does make sense why some want to leave the situation they're in, but at the same time they're hurting innocent people just to achieve their own goals. Then they really said, "Hey, let's go to another Haven, which we haven't had any contact with in years, that might have fallen or be deeply hostile to outsiders, and leave behind all our friends and families behind to die in massive apocalypse storms that need benders to keep the walls up.” ThaT WaS tHe BiG PlaN?! Do they not have MapQuest or something?! The world map looks like Rasenganshurikin combined with hollow spectrum. It's not like Ellora is doing this so they can become a militaristic expansionist power that conquers their neighbors. They are doing this because they literally have no other choice. This is an apocalypse, and they are trying not to die in it. They will be lucky if they even get a high five, let alone a good place to live out there. They raise good points, but their neurons aren't doing enough twists and turns; the path in their brain is a little too straight. Raids spread fear to people who did nothing to them; they don’t think much about the people they leave behind, they indoctrinate people into a cause that may not be real and fold them if they think otherwise or don't fully agree, and some of them don’t hesitate to try and kill people that fought for them and their families that live in the haven. Uki’s case is annoying me because she did not hesitate enough to abandon her own family and betray friends and coworkers and leave them defenseless and lacking food as catastrophic storms strike Ellora. Her idea is wild since it really says, "I always dreamed of being a farmer, which is why I'm going to leave my family that's worried sick about me to starve while I become a soldier for a different brigade on a suicide mission to a dangerous foreign land.” Wanting be a farmer ain't bad but she better go home and carry a bag of hope an imagine a field in these times. I guess her naivety matches her age. At least Agam felt sorry for Nisha and hoped the best for her. Nisha really tried to be on her “Huey and Reilly Freeman arc” and change the world but learned quickly that she’s living in a silo because “that day is NOT today." Also surprised that Katharsis couldn’t tell Jae was not switching up on him, especially after he scratched behind his ears. Like he literally told Katharsis that lying makes his ears itch. It doesn’t even seem like he could convince Kayoko well since she’s super suspicious of him. Man. I can’t wait for the next episodes because I need to see what happens with the Pavi and Nisha, since the Anomaly gave them two different visions, one of a real-world location and one of a spirit-sunken-place location similar to what Aang and Korra have been through. Possibly showing how this is a two-body problem to fix the world’s chaos. The chakras might need to be fixed in two ways, one through the spirit avatar side and one through physical means of avatar bending. Which could also lead to explaining why there are two avatars in this cycle.

This summit could have been an email.

Plot twist, the energy entity is actually the spirit of cabbage man's rage

Nobody lol

idk I find S1 of seven haven more enjoyable then ATLA S1. Korra S1 is still on top for me

Nobody lol

Just watch it and decide for yourself

Roxy Marie

Rip to Eric Bauza he VA the pudding guy and kuzon

Bob Bob

Damn Roshi reminded me again with his Hard Drive being destroyed and losing all his Santa Reactions.

Devin B

The difference with the movie and LoK is that the avatar cycle wasn't broken, Sonam was hidden in the cycle so there was always a chance of retrieving her but the cycle got restarted in LoK so unless they retcon something in this series there's no chance of the previous cycle being restored.

Q So Raww

i think karthic knew the play and was just making it more believable

Jelly016

I'm honestly a little confused on the brigade benders' motivation and morality. Yeah being forced to be a teen/young adult soldier is rough, but I would want to stay to protect my family especially from the recent spirit attacks. Unless I missed a line where the benders would also take their families to Republic Forest too, it seemed like they would have gone on their own and left their families to fend for themselves in Ellora.

earthphoenix7068

It’s like a bunch of rioters vs mega Satan

Tyler

I am loving this show so far. I haven't enjoyed the story of Avatar this much since ATLA. This post-apocalyptic world where the Avatar is on the run is so interesting.

Quonte Owens

Nah I think Karthik is playing along

Uly A O

I do believe after these last eps, that it was more so Korra acting as vessel for spirits that decided they had enough of their home world being siphon off as energy to fuel the material realm. I still do think Korra more or less agreed with the spirits, but I would say they were called the shots in her body. We’ve all seen that being in the avatar state isn’t completely lucid experience. Also, these Havens ready to execute a child that’s what it look like. What’s gonna happen? Cause I don’t remember exactly if the protocol for finding the avatar ever happened or it was explained in the past episodes in detail but what would you do like it didn’t seem like there was any middle ground. I understand fear but madam you’re a grown woman. She’s nine years old. Get it together.

Irrational

First half is flat wrong but the second half is right.

Andrew

Def worth it. I find this season better than atla s1. Also the fights in that season were honestly not much better idk. Every season for atla got better in terms of animation so hopefully this can do the same but i do kinda wish it had korras animation lol it would be from a 7.5 to a 9 tbh.

Lilac Flute

This is a LONG read; apologies in advance lol The word choices in Korra, for me, are very specific. When Raava said, "it has never been attempted" when passing through Wan with the elements before they merged in Harmonic Convergence, who's to say being killed in the Avatar State means the cycle breaks. How would Raava know that if this is the FIRST time it's happened and the cycle has NEVER been broken in 10,000 years? So I always assumed that Raava assumed it would break with no evidence that it would even happen. So the Avatar Aang movie having Avatar Sonam rejoin the cycle after she was already 5,000 years dead gives more validity to my Korra theory that Raava and the Avatar spirits are separate beings, but it's through Raava that they can be called upon. Metaphor time. I hate the hard-drive comparison because it comes from people (not you, Roshi, Sheera, and Lupa, even though you used it, I've heard a serious comparison for years) who don't care about the spiritual significance of a VERY spiritual show. To compare Raava to a hard drive is weak, only because she is THE spirit of light who's been around for eons, and she's a sentient being with memories. And AGAIN, "it's never been attempted," so I know having it severed, NOT DESTROYED, severed wouldn't just wipe her memories; that's 10,000 years compared to lifetimes before humans came about, so it's not that simple to just get rid of it. In the Spirit World, we saw Zhao, we saw Iroh, and even in Book 1 of ATLA, Roku was waiting for Aang, so they have their own autonomy. And in the Aang movie, I'm glad they added a backdrop of where they were in their lives, like when Roku was in front of the Volcano, and then later Sonam in her temple. ALSO, Korra NEVER truly attempted to TRY to connect to her past lives after that fight, which was an interesting rewatch, just like how she never thought to ask her past lives after her bending got blood bent blocked; she went to the physical side of bending and had Katara try to water heal her spirit. But we know she's not thinking of spirit stuff like that. Aang tried REAL hard just to get Sonam, but he grew up in a temple with monks, so it's second nature for him. My OG Theory was that the next Avatar would have to reconnect the past lives by meeting them where they exist in the spirit world with the help of Raava, since she's the mediator between them all. The Avatar State, to me, is more of a bus/train. People in different parts of the Spirit World, but the chosen (the Avatars), get VIP access not only to the train (Avatar State (Raava)), but also to the skills and experiences of their past lives (the different rest stops/locations of the Avatars' lives) at their disposal, and all Vaatu did was sever the tracks, but they are still individuals, and Raava still has all of her own memories with each, which is why I feel she never mentions she has her own memories because she also still assumes stuff. Like when Korra asked, "Where have you been?" no Rihanna, Raava said, "I've always been here" - Raava gives a stank face of "Gworl bffr" lol If Avatar Wan had kids, I feel like we would've had a genetic avatar bloodline. THAT would be fun. I also feel like, from other reactions I've seen, that people don't love this show like they say they do, especially when forgetting about the Chakra stuff from ATLA (Also the LITERAL chakra symbol for the Earth Chakra (Root Chakra, Muladhara) is such a genius art design) and how VAATU SNATCHED RAAVA OUT OF KORRA AND SEVERED THE CONNECTION, NOT KORRA. Also, Wan said he'd be the bridge, meaning the avatar is not THE bridge, but a chosen bridge; but hey, the 10,000-year-old game of telephone is fun too. Having 2 Avatars in this era makes sense because you need one to handle the physical global mess of the cataclysm, and for that they need to be a person solely focused on that aspect of bending, and then vice versa for the spirit side. My theory for this show stays changing, but for now, they gotta restore the Chakra imbalance of the world, and I feel Raava was split into 7 entities (The 7 Chakras) because of the cataclysm, and since "it's never been attempted" with Wan, THIS is the first time Raava chose more than one to inherit the Avatar State because it got a little igant in the world, so she may have taken drastic measures. And Vaatu is gone for the next 10,000 years, so I feel this is a learning experience for Raava as well, because let's not forget how she was talking to Wan (he deserved a bit of it, but still). Raava needs her mini character arc, and what better way than Korra, who's not spiritual AT ALL, and then a cataclysm...a CATACLYSM of all things. And now she might not be able to communicate like she used to because she might actually be split between both worlds and is trying to hold on for dear life. There are a lot of chess pieces on this board, so I'm excited for the rest of the series.

Jazko Exclusive

Korra was a good show but it had a boatload of pacing issues. There was virtually ZERO setup for season 2-3. And certain things needed time to be fleshed out more. So far, SH has been taking a more patient approach. So far we all want to see (1) what the other Havens look like (2) what happened with Korra (3) Nisha and Pavis backstory and how they both can bend multiple elements. So many interesting characters with nice character designs. The dialogue and action does give a Steven Universe-y vibe, but I think that’s subject to change as the story matures. My only gripe is that in LOK and ATLA, the main characters had their unique styles of bending. It was LOK biggest attraction, you had traditional benders fighting against new age benders. Technique vs Power was constantly highlighted. So far I’ve haven’t seen enough to distinguish Jae’s bending personality to Karthik. Pavi definitely has a better affinity to Earth bending but I can’t figure out what make Nisha shine as a bender yet (we shall see soon ig) With that I expect the action is pick up. I refuse to believe everyone at that summit, disregarding the White Lotus, are some sorry sons of bitches.

Saphthings

I'm like the biggest Korra stan and even I was getting Korra ptsd from Nisha... like omg what are you doing, bend and help Karthik!!! Why are you always so headstrong but then go into a mental spiral when it doesn't immediately work out?!?! Like girl you ARE Korra... Which made me really sus on the whole "what if there's a dark avatar now"... Paavi is Vaatu????? Unless they're trying to throw us off lol. But yeah I was so aggravated with her this episode xD

Saphthings

I'm wondering the world has been reset to when Vaatu was free with Avatar Wan and etc. Like if the "havens" are the locations where the spirit turtles probably would've been, and the world has been reset to how it was before the first harmonic convergence where the avatar was made, probably because of some spirit energy abuse thing.

Mr. Toastman

The way he was behaving seemed really strange though. As if he really felt betrayed by Jae. Maybe that nod was basically just Karthik telling Jae to not get involved, and Jae took it a step further which Karthik didn't expect.

I'Zanay Rogers

It's okey Jae we were all seduced by that fine man lolll. Jae was actually really smart for saying seduced instead of tricked or something like that because the counselor lady would relate to feeling like she was seduced by captain Karthik.

Xylophage

I feel like the overarching story of the show will be about the girls traveling to the seven havens to try and understand the seven chakras to bring back balance to the world. it didn't even click for me until pavi was in that spirit vision place like aang from book 2 of atla but it's definitely no accident that those numbers line up

Wrëck

Yall rn im feeling like pavi and nisha aren’t actual twins i feel like they’re the same being split in two idk it’s gonna be some sort of twist to where one is left now whether its pavi or nisha idk

PolarToni

it takes 20 minutes to watch episode 1.

Brandon

Oh? another 268 affiliate up in here? big up ya self 👊

.jazbati

it's the seven chakras

Aaron williams

I mean blame Nic for that if they would’ve greenlit more season like they wanted to then we would’ve gotten better cohesion. But they did good despite all the pushback they got in the background. Idk I just feel like complaining about the packing is old at this point. We should all know how it went down.

Samsaknight X

The other havens did that too lmao

Gabe Santiago

Naw I’m 100 percent sure the movies don’t confirm the other avatars can come back in the movie she voluntarily took her self out of the avatar cycle essentially going into exile kora died and thus KILLED the avatar cycle permanently they ain’t coming back

Devin B

But it wouldn't feel genuine if Karthik didn't have a reaction to Jae "betraying" him. We're talking about someone who hid the avatar under everyone noses for a while, there's no way he didn't catch on.

Dark Danny

That path that appeared when the anomaly touched Pavi is the same path that showed when Aang was learning how to enter the Avatar state and when Korra projected a giant spirt sized version of herself. Except Pavi's path is blocked by 7 barriers, Before Aang could enter the Avatar state he had to unlock 7 chakras. The first chakra is the Earth chakra and it deals with Survival (the title of this book) and is blocked by fear, which is what they've been dealing with and what the anomaly has been specifically causing

DarkAce _

damm these white lotus members are ahh

Dean Joyner

The also get weak after touching the Anomaly Nisha was just too waek to help

DreBlackWolf

Karthik is playing along with Jae. I don’t think he expected Jae to pull that play but as he’s established throughout the season Karthik trusts Jae.

P J

korra pulled an avalanche and bombed the mako reactors, and everything was fucked up from all that and needs to be fixed by the avatar.

meeran haq

Ngl, while the animation is way below Korra (at times it's decent), the story is so much more intriguing imo. The overall mystery and world lore they've set up is amazing.

NeonThunder

I wonder how all those people leaving are going to feel when they learn that all their family died because they abandoned them. Also all these grown-ass adults going to attack a small child is genuinely insane. Fuck those people. That Queen is also the worst she literally heard Nisha said that all she was trying to help and was still willing to kill the child. Fuck her too

ultraviolet

yall need to rewaatch s2ep19 of ATLA to refresh yall memory on the 7 chakras. pavi's spine chakra which is fueled by survival(the name of the book) and is blocked by fear. thats why is was covered by the red fear spirit and the others werent

Malcolm Washingon

I think Karthik's "what have you done" was more about Jae getting himself put into his position. He knows Jae is an honest and earnest boy, and Karthik has had to do a lot of lying and clandestine shit to prevent what we saw this episode. Jae is not built for all that. Think Karthik was lamenting what Jae just got into and what he'll have to do, the lies he may have to tell, the trust and relationships he may have to betray. Not being actually upset at Jae for 'betraying' him. Also we know Karthik is a good actor, he prolly was playing it up to help Jae sell his 'innocence'/'change of heart'

Malcolm Washingon

The animation looks stiff at times, and at times the choreography is not great. But plot and character wise it's off to a good start. Also, there are glimpses of inspiration in a couple scenes that make me think that on later episodes/seasons they gonna get real saucy with it. How they had the earth bending lotus member stylin on nisha and how they had agam styling on nisha. Moments with how Karthik was shown when defending nisha. I think these animators have the magic in them and just need time/budget to make it pop. I'd say worth watching here thru patreon, but maybe not worth the paramount sub yet.

LuxLoser

I mean, the Antichrist is def a bigger opp than some draft dodgers and bank robbers

Fred

The dark hadou of bending has entered Nisha someone gotta stop it

Frankie

Yes! Thank you no one is talking about how Asami prob died and it’s not her that’s fuckin w the spirits it’s her company

NiyaNii

korra never died, unalaq was the one to kill the past lives, korra was awake through all of it

Gabe Santiago

Either way the mfs dead I don’t think they ever coming back they got atomized in the spirit realm in korra

Frizen

Karthik obviously understands the play, he has been hiding the Avatar and the White Lotus right in front of everyone's faces he's clearly a good actor 😂

Jemuzu

I clocked that too! It's definitely involving the chakras. 7 havens, 7 chakras. Root governs survival and is blocked by fear, which is why Ellora is dealing with this fear based entity.

Brye Baker

when the one guy leaves he says the food was good, but that was the food made by the lady from the faceless lol

Rell_TheGoat

Guys it’s a kids show karthik acting like that gotta be for suspense for the kiddos😂

c808ty Doh

Maybe Nisha will join the faceless, and Pavi will find Jae and the other white lotus and escape?

Kangdarius

Decent show. The animation during action scenes is pretty mid though. Pavi getting on my nerves just like Aang. Jae clearly being another julee making sure karthik survives all this. The weirdo guards getting they ass beat by ppl their age but ready to kill a child is just strange. If that’s how it is there, id wanna leave too. Im ready for the mystery to be solved. It’ll let me know if imma drop this show or not. I’m still waiting for lupa to scream at the screen that nisha is a PoS every episode though. I want that same energy from those awful korra reactions.

Kevin Brown

This show is such great birth control lmao because what do you mean I told you not to reveal yourself to the people, then you do exactly that and the people react exactly how I said they would and know im fighting for my life while you crying in the corner

L S

industry standard? please

L S

@nobody lol better than s1 of atla? atla had more episodes so its hard to compare. but animation wise the original was genuinely a step above this. Also atla was not anywhere near as regurgitative when it comes to repeating relationships like this show has pavi or nisha mentioning that the other one is their sister at least once per episode and they already did the separating only to rejoin twice now and setting up a third time... but then again this dude says korra s1 is on top so thats telling, to each their own i guess, some people also think mcdonalds is the peak of dining experiences.

Corn

industry standard is insane, but ill admit the show has peaked my interest and gotten better but certainly lacks in comparison to atla or lok 1st seasons, especially in the lack of characters who are as interesting as previous ones, the world building, dialogue and character designs, which is partially cause i dislike the avatars being so young but thats a personal complaint, but hopefully the show can get better and give us more
