It's funny when he said North Korea when they literally in the USA. Like i'd say America is a much more successful propagandist.

I can't blame him for being impaitent but we can most def blame him for fucking up and hurting Katara. This is two Ls back to back. You got to let people hold their Ls or the end up like Korra, an inept adult who constantly makes matters worst.

Bro North Korea encourages people to snitch on each other, the fuck is this retarded ass take???

Redhackensack
>>112196519

that you're unaware of how much propaganda the US feeds the world and its citizens is a great example of how successful we are with our propaganda lol

Spadez
>>112196519

No one said US doesn't have propaganda, but it sure as shit isn't North Korea level. I mean look at what they said about the fire bending teacher. He is the ONLY person to leave the army and live.

Idc if this was 7 months ago I gotta' say this. You are retarded as fuck. They literally have propaganda convincing citizens every other global super power is pure evil and that their leaders are immortal and live on even after death (they are the first country in the world who was ruled by a dead mf FOR YEARS)

Keep in mind aang is just a child, simple logic eludes him. He’s on a journey of maturing as much as he’s on a journey to save the world. Give him a little more time to be less illogical. 😃

I like that aang is actually voiced by someone who was a child. In later seasons you can hear a little voice change. Usually they just get a woman to play boys.

The Fire Nation is probably more similar to Ancient Rome than North Korea. North Korea actually wants to remain isolated they don’t really care for world domination .

Mten10th

Aang is 12 years old and has to save the world in a matter of months. Of course he's gonna be impatient.

it kinda does. he's 12 with the fate of the world on his shoulders. can't blame him for wanting to hurry things up.

kurumi Tokisaki

If you guys watch all the books for this series. The character development and world building gets very deep. Also, i remember this was my most repeated episode of avatar because of the line "YOU WANT TO STOP BREATHING" lol

Surazaku

You must learn proper breathing control to master hamon uh I mean fire bending yes fire bending.

LUPASAN

YEAH?! A hot Mess?

Lucas Santiago

Y’all need to just watch the damn show and stop predicting 😂😂

CuteAdorableDog

there's literally nothing wrong with trying to make predictions cool to see which one's come true and which don't

CuteAdorableDog

I just realized the va for the fire magician is the same as another one episode character...

Shaw

I love Sheera's predictions. She's got a meta mind.

Jono Lauwers

Lupasan got me deded at the end when he claps at the same time as roshi lmao

hurryupmode

I thought it was hilarious when Katara changed the masks to suit their facial expression

I never really blamed Aang’s age for this episode. I felt it had more to do with his background and experiences. As a monk Aang’s fighting style is very defensive, and he was taught to value all life growing up. So even though Aang is a master Air bender he never received any formal “serious” offensive training, such as lethal or killing blows, like you would with the other elements. So he’s never had to worry about the dangers of his bending before. Combine that with how easy it was for him to pick up water bending and the time constraints I can understand why Aang was so impatient and wasn’t really paying attention to the dangers involved

"I'm the second, but you don't get to be a legend for that." idk how many times I've seen this episode and never noticed that quote. Good shit.

Pere

When Lupasan synced up the clap twice I busted out laughing...it’s like I’m back in college watching Avatar with my cousins who are now an ocean away. So glad I signed up for this, thank you so much!

Taking him to the top of the mountain to practice his breathing is like Goku going into the gravity chamber. Could he train on just the regular Earth? Yeah, but it's more of a challenge to breathe at a higher altitude. I wonder how long it took Jeong Jeong to get to the top of the mountain when he first started his firebending training. Real life, you gotta take it slow to avoid passing out.
