Well, in a way the dead monks remainings stopped the fire nation from invading their homeland once again

Joshua Burns

YESS!!! I get so happy seeing you guys post your reactions

Vikar

Yeah, he went through with an "alternate" route

Andee80

😄I love how happy you guys look watching 😁

Chris D. Jones

In their defense there hasn’t been airbenders for 100 years so they probably thought no one would care lol

Viela Guay

I mean, this is what happens when you have a singluar nation whose bending counts as effectively limitless gasoline and can be used to have easy forges for smelting metal. The fire nation is far more technologically advanced, so even their non-benders become problems

Viela Guay

Also a counter balancing system isn't a flaw, it's arguably a necessity considering how the tanks are used

BERMY

next 3 episodes are fire

kurumi Tokisaki

This episode is really relevant for the last book and also "Avatar:The legend of Korra".

Also, a big fact that you all may have overlooked, but each element has a unique real world martial arts style associated with it. This is why avatar has always been the best fighting anime for me at least.

Hoodlum JoeBro

The best 3 episodes are what define what’s to come for book 2 and 3. It pretty much sets in motion how epic it would become. Y’all are in for a treat!!!

Preston Bryant

Speaking of Air Gear you guys should check that show out

Gangsta Penguin

I'm hella late, but my dark fact of the day: natural gas comes from human corpses after 100 years, meaning the room with natural gas was where the fire nation threw the dead air nomads

Now I'm crying because I just imagined Fire Nation soldiers just throwing air nomad bodies into the room
