SakakiMaya

And here is where the nightmare fuel begins.

Narutofreak94

I’ve been trying to remember what series that was and I’m glad I decided to rewatch this lol

SoggySoup

This does go to show while Riko is inexperienced she is quicker to make decisions than Reg. (Sometimes to a fault)

Student Loans

Welp, this is THE episode... 😂

Dylan

And thus the tone if this show grows even darker

Tyler

Haven't seen the reaction yet but when Lupa has his glasses off in the thumbnail you know there will be chest pain lmao

TheToweringOTK

This whole show is just what happens when you're low level and sneak into a high level area in an MMO.

Lulucho

You don't even know lol

Tank

I was waiting for you all to reach this episode. It was the hardest episode of the series to watch, at least in my opinion. Can't wait to see your next few reactions... Think you'll only do two next week, or finish off the season?

kurumi Tokisaki

This episode and the last three made me pick up the manga asap. The cuteness fades and darkness shrouds them.

itzhectic

This episode never gets easier to watch 😭

Cristian

Episode 13 is crazy too

L

I knew this shit was coming up. Even though I didn't finish the series up when it was originally coming out I knew about that one episode that everyone just apparently could not handle. I knew she went through excessive bleeding just from memory and seeing some stuff about it a long time ago but I never fully experienced it all until now. Nice to finally get around to seeing the full horror of it all!

Alex cleveland

Welp I have to say it but Riko, u got a wake up call now calm da fuk down. Being too excited and immature got the best of u. But this was def very hard to watch no cap 😪

LordLaMink

That was pure gold.. I can't wait for the last 3 reactions

Joshua Burns

Man I watched this episode by myself man I couldn’t even finish it at first I had to come back to it later 😂

Alex cleveland

So we gonna act like half of Shōnen anime isn’t centered around kids. 😂 I usually love MC especially kids but I don’t like riko cause of how clueless she is. Stop wit that bull crap they’re kids. Clearly that I think they’re kids innocent is dumb because she is in the abyss. And we also gonna act like the promised neverland ain’t a thing either huh🤦🏽‍♂️. Ray Norman Emma EVEN Phil knew what was happening and how to approach the situation they were in so tf outta here wit that bro😂

Halibel

JUST DO IT

Anonymous

Every damn time I watch this episode, every damn time, I can't stop from squirming and needing to get up and move. Or just do something...

Sebastian Stróż

I highly recommend watching last 3 episodes together. They all give a ton of explanation as well a closure to the season.

Damiester

I don't know... Riko always appears to be the one who reacts first to danger when it comes to huge hurdles like this. It's Reg who's always slow until shit hits the fan.

Alex cleveland

@Damiester dude legit reg does everything to protect riko. Riko is very unreliable in dangerous situations 🤦🏽‍♂️

Cablemonkey

Not sure my original post made it, but I’ll say it again. We all knew Lupa would be toast, but good to see Sheera and Roshi shook as well. Only three left, should be easy, right? Yeah?

Cablemonkey

Riko is the embodiment of the expression of joy and wonder at new things. Sure, it will probably get her killed, but I still would be sad to see it tempered.

godUsoland

It's time! This ep was the reason I started the anime, I heard the series was beautiful and got dark, and this did not disappoint. Watch the movie after ya'll finish! You can find it online

godUsoland

Nanachi: "I'm a Hollow". Me: "BANKAI!"

Alex cleveland

@Cablemonkey exactly but thats y I don't like her character. Wrong time to act stupid being joyful when she knows that people died in the worst ways possible and she still not cautious at all. Bad character plain and simple

Jay

I almost had to turn this off man

Jay

Great reaction man sheesh

Viela Guay

Imagine thinking "competence = good character"

Surazaku

Only 3 episodes left wow that went fast

Surazaku

Crazy good or crazy as in they get messed up even harder then this

Surazaku

Apparently this series also has 3 movies, I will have to watch those to.

sim

i think the third one isnt released yet but i might be wrong

Surazaku

Still two movies do you know if they tie into the anime or are they spin off adventures?

kurumi Tokisaki

They are summarized versions of the series, Book one and two

Surazaku

Oh so they would have elements of season 1 of the anime in them then that's cool.

Daniel Robb

I believe they're a straight recap for the first two, dividing it into 6 ep each. The third one released this year is new

Surazaku

I was doing some looking around and I was told that the 3rd movie is the end of the series not sure if its true ill double check to make sure

Dakotah

3rd movie is not the end of the series, it’s just the next part of the story after the anime. The movie was released in Japan with amazing reception, but before it was released everywhere else Covid-19 stepped in. There is still a lot more story after the third movie, that is still ongoing in the manga. The good news is that they’ve said they’re going to do a season 2 or a 4th movie, which covers the story after this latest movie.

Larile Millvet

You just got to watch them Surazaku 😄. Telling you what kind of crazy they are is a big spoiler.

Surazaku

Well that's good

Warsame

this is s true lmaoooo

godUsoland

Her arm: Top 10 anime betrayals.

godUsoland

You can catch the movie subbed on a bunch of sites, and t should have digital release around now.

Vincent Lee

OMG this is the first mention of the 'theyll never believe you''

Grand-Daddy Longnuts

Bruh are Lupa's glasses the Google ones? Cause he has to be busy watching something else not to know Up Fucks you Up by episode 10.

Raider

thanks for the link, i am rewatching this show a 10th time.

godUsoland

No problem. Enjoy! I've seen the movie like 4 times. It's good.

artisticSarcasm

Finally the dog thing makes sense lol. I never watched this series so I've been so confused. Also GOD DAMN WTF WAS THIS EPISODE

NecDW4

The whole gang wiping their eyes this ep.

Mozart Waddell

This episode was a hard watch for me as well. Seeing Sheera cry and Lupa clearly distress but holding it together was weird. It's usually the opposite.

MancunianProphecy

Micky Mouse arm comment from Roshi had me creasing!!!

Marshmallow

dont think i've ever had to look away during an anime until this. really needed that "mickey mouse" comment lol

Kaitsu Tokiyas

this moment they realize they must not puck up with the abyss's danger. this episode was shock me as well when first time to watch it. riko characther was trash, but later on she will have her own part. continuing watch the react wondering how it will on umbra's hand arc.

Drake Rage

Damn, I have to respect Riko for being so hard. She must have been going through beyond excruciating pain and yet had the presence of mind to get out of the hallucination and tell Reg to cut off her hand to try to keep her alive. Insane, but mad respect for that. EDIT: OMG OMG OMG GOD GOD, FUCK! I CAN'T!

William Morris

this is where the "they'll never believe you" running gag came from the dog meme you sent lupa. Glad I decided to rewatch this before doing the next season
