Every rewatch you notice something new, what a crazy show!

Dippers

Bro Tibbers how often do you rewatch this 😭😭

RowdyCloudy

The episode where Sokka moved into my 2nd favorite spot. Zuko 🔥 and Sokka ⚔️ FTW! 🤘😎

Spadez
>>115914337

I am on my 4th rewatch of this. I figured I would reset when they did the live action ones.

Saucy Jonathan

He has a black blade ?he definitely got conquerors haki

MJAnime

I really appreciate how Roshi has given Sokka his props throughout the show. Sokka's one of those characters that people clown on or don't notice because it's a show filled with action and he's the guy that doesn't have those type of skills. But he's absolutely the brains guy and without him they would have had a rougher time than they already did. His instincts are always on point, even when things don't go exactly the way he thinks they will. He's never been trash, it's just that the main characters we see all the time have skills he doesn't and as this episode showed he has skills they don't, even if it is some comedy relief.

Dyastro

Both sokka and mizu (blue eyed samurai) made a space rock sword

Chad Valencia

Knowledge of the arts belongs to us all

Jorge

Yessirskiii

Rogeran Stern

Man looking like O/G Jamaican in the 90's bomboclat mon fire lol

Gabby Boakye-yiadom

Best Sokka episode it was a long time coming where Sokka got his due.

Rcl

One of my favorite episodes. I think the master was based on the shows real life martial arts coordinator. I don't know if he did the voice too.

Fuji

sokkas training was probs longer than a couple of days considering the progress iroh made in his training in that cell

Shawn Rollins

nobody peeped Toph creating the Nickelodeon logo with the meteor

E_lincoln

I really hope you guys finish the show by the end of May for two reasons. One I'm poor, and two I'm impatient as shit. I love your content. Can't wait for the next upload. Also I'd love to see you react to Assassination classroom. It's incredible just make sure you watch the sub and not the dub.

Andee80

LOLOLOLOL......NOT THIS SHOWS STARTING TO HEAT UP!!!! I think I just died lol

Shamar

The symbolism in this show is what I appreciate a lot now that I’m older

Zavier Mendoza

So what ep are you guys on now that you haven’t uploaded because Roshi doesn’t have dreads and lupa has a diffrent style as well.

Norrin Radd

This is a deus ex machina episode to get Sokka ready for the climax. It needed to be done.

godUsoland

Woi, Lupa-san, I see you with the switch up lol.

Tbdovan
>>36928616

You should probably learn what that means before using it lol

Davon Thomas

All the episodes of season 3 are amazing and teach lessons

Joshua Curry

Fun fact: When Toph was bending that meteor chunk that last shape was the Nickelodeon splat

Eugene Conner

While watching this series again, I'm seeing so many foreshadowing Easter eggs. This show doesn't cease to impress.

itzhectic

“Why am I swimming” 💀

godUsoland

Yeah, Sokka is a sword PROGIDY. He picked up that level of skill in like 72 hours lol. (1st day, plus forging, plus sword fight).

Varun Narayanswamy

Bro this is when Sokka goes from the background strategist to the badass he is now. Like he's so cool.

itzsheera
>>36928219

We have a few eps left in book 3. Lupa went back to his previous haircut lol

Robinson

This episode solidified sokka as my favorite no cap

Manu

you three have really good chemistry with each other in your reactions. That's the thing I dig about yall. Keep it up and continue to enjoy Avatar. I appreciate you guys

Jonny Nguyen

Loving these quick uploads fam. Stay healthy and keep grinding!

Rubix

Man Im so ready for every episode of season 3! =D

Rubix

Also I thought that this episode went over a week or so, considering Iroh's progress, so I also that every lesson was a different day. Since it was a giant palace/house, I thought Sokka stayed there instead of heading back to Aang and the others - thats why they missed him so much.

Viela Guay

Smh need me that 72 hour full body shredded Iroh Workout

kurumi Tokisaki

Toph bending that meteorite always made me believe the show was going to do some outer space being . like bending the moon=earth, sun=fire, water=pluto, air=gravity...unfortunately i was wrong, but it still shows the different capabilities of bending elements

Gabriel Jimenez

Feels bad that no one noticed that Toph bend the meteorite into the Nickelodeon Splat shape.

Liban Madar

Robert Patrick A.K.A the T-100 is Sokka's Master

HesOneShot

Damn I wish we can get episode 5&6 tmrw 😩😭

L

I forgot literally how much they loaded into this last season. I can still think of so many episodes we haven't gotten yet that I thought had come in previous seasons. They jammed everything into book fire in terms of actual character development. In all honesty I would say the first two books are mainly just world building and character introductions....

L

But yea this dude was one of the few dope people they had in the fire nation. The fact this guy is in the same group as Iroh can really tell you a lot about who he is and his character. Cause we only seen very wise and skilled people have relation to the lotus tile.

Warsame

Ive seen the show multiple times but for some reason i never caught that white lotus foreshadowing

Davon Thomas
>>36939503

A meteor is still a rock. After she learned metal bending ain't much beyond that

Sanctum

At the end, when they close the gates, you can see white lotus symbol craved in the gates itself. Also on the ground area where Sokka trained with wooden swords and on the ceiling, when master handed Sokka the sword (basically it was before our eyes many times). SPOILERS AHEAD: i just noticed the lion turtle statue and that master called Sokka's heart as strong as a lion turtle. Seems like a character that knew a lot.

Alrick Campbell

Lupa with the Chiney Bump dem! I see the drip bro

Mr. Toastman
>>36964053

I think it was just a legend in the avatar universe that they didn't have time (or perhaps just didn't think - ) to expand on

Cablemonkey
>>36939503

Actually meteor is a little different, it’s mentioned in briefly in korra (not significant enough to be a spoiler).

Cablemonkey

Very cool rewatching this now. My tai chi teacher in college did a demonstration of tai chi sword form and I’m almost positive seeing this again that’s what master Piandao’s style was. I wish I still had the video of that demonstration, he did tai chi sword and shaolin shadow boxing, it was amazing. On an old vhs tape lost long ago :(.

Anonymous

This episode is one of my top for the whole series. It's so good!

Hoodlum JoeBro

Some of the best episodes in terms of world building are coming up! Personal faves is after the ‘fan service’ episode and a certain Halloween episode 😁

Narutofreak94

Did y'all notice Toph make the old Nickelodeon logo with the comet material?

Sheraya san

all i see are twists 😂

Ally

GUYS ITS ON NETFLIX IN AMERICA NOW!!!!! HELL YEAH TIME TO GO BINGE

DanielleM

I forgot to comment this last episode, but the next time we hear uncle Iroh speak it'll be the new VA. I believe that's one of the reasons he hasn't talked in the last few episodes

Screcy

YaBoy"That was a great episode"Roshi

Joel Braaten

This episode was always a favorite of mine.

Dizzy

I know I'm crying I love these avatar reactions.

Cablemonkey
>>37049014

I’ve always wondered if they deliberately trimmed his lines back while in prison so viewers would be less likely to notice the voice change. Greg Baldwin did a good job, but Mako *was* Iroh.

KM

Lol Sokka no longer cares about the strict schedule! Glad to see him get trained, though.

Anthony

I kinda wish that they noticed toph making the Nickelodeon logo with her space earth bending

eric

iroh the goat

Jay Herbo

Another lion turtle(statue)

Kyle Paulsen

You guys didn't pick up on Toph bending the nickelodeon sign with the meteorite. Subtle flex.

Christina

One of the very VERY few flaws of ATLA: Sokka’s training was ONE DAY😭

FragZone

Lmao Roshi giving Lupa that look after he said things are starting to heat up, I'm dead 😂

Madison Hagan

Iron getting fit always makes me so happy, lol.

Saber0

When my favorite author, Terry Pratchett got knighted, he made his own sword to be 'dubbed' with...out of meteoric iron.

John

Yes we really needed you to point out the master couldn't see..

Alexa

The fire puns get me every time lol

Q NAsty

im about to cry with the "everybody built this sword" and now im gonna say the team had to help Sokka even make a sword xD lol like truly beautiful if he cant do anything at all without them. And the hard work they all put into the sword solidifies them as a team. Ive never seen an episode, yet, that makes me feel like the team finally honestly feels complete. The obvious stand out is The Painted Lady but for other reasons, and ultimately Sokka was playing the flute, he is super resourceful. smartest head 5head all the time

SuperCookieGaming

the look of the master is based on the martial arts master they used to choreograph the fight scenes. the waterfall is an actual irl place but i can’t remember its name rn

Marian Smith
>>41437118

It's so wholesome. I never thought about how the whole team contributed to the sword's creation and the symbolism of how he took a feeling of failure (around the comet event) and turned it into a strength.

damein brown

If notice, when Sokka was moving the rock there, was lion turtles with the city on it back like in Korra

Keosan

I like how Toph makes the Nickelodeon sign

Tibbers

I think this is the first time I notice the lionturtle statues damn
