I did some looking around and from what I found the assassin is using a special type of fire bending focusing all the energy on his head chakra thats why he cant bend like other fire benders.

I think it's a little more complex than that in this case though. Katara has always been the "mother" of the group so she doesn't always have time to be letting loose and having fun. Someone has to be the responsible one and hold things together. It's tiring honestly, especially when you're at odds with the others when it comes to killing their fun. So just for once, she wanted to not be seen as a buzzkill or not fun. She's still a kid afterall. Yeah you can say she's a hypocrite but as she said to Toph here, she just wanted to show her and the others that she can have fun and be like them too. That's pretty understandable.

all i did was say what i think because she is saying not to scam, then when toph agrees to stop katara then plans a scam(which is hypocritical), katara also brings up the fact they should be worried about combustion man hunting them i dont see why spongebob meme typing and calling katara a hypocrite was so bad, she can make mistakes, like stealing a water bending scroll and trusting jet enough though sokka told her hes a gonna drown a bunch of civilians

Sokka never told her that Jet was going to drown civilians. He only thought that Jet was untrustworthy and lying. He got caught as soon as he found out their plan and it was Aang who figured out/told Katara Jet was going to blow up the dam.

this was the second episode where Aang is the first to react to "Combustion Man." Cyclops Kano breathes in heavy and Aang is always the first to hear it. The long standing theory is its a form of firebending, now I'm willing to bet he uses some form of mix of air and fire.

In my opinion it's similar to how electricity redirecting is firebending that uses waterbending techniques. Combustion bending is firebending that probably utilizes airbending breathing techniques.

That jail was specifically made for Toph. Her and wood do not get along. It was a set up by Combustion Man, that knows that Toph is the earthbender of the group he's looking for and that the waterbender is Katara. That's why it's a wooden jail with no water nearby.
