Jacob Crooks

At around 17 minutes Roshi mentions that this reminds him of Solo Leveling. Good thing Solo leveling got approved for season 2, unlike this.

TheR3dReaper

There will be 13 episodes in total

Christina

I’m sooo ready to watch this reaction 😂

GinaTheQueen1 .

12 episodes if I remember correctly for the first season

Gareth McAuley

There should be 13 episodes like TOG.

Bob

You should check out Baki

Lawliet

You should watch Parasyte the maxim

BERMY
>>39896881

They said they were thinking of watching it, not sure when it would be tho

Deric Jackson

He doesn't have the ability to see people's past he just made up a backstory for her on the spot.

Devin B

Mori was imagining a whole scenario for what the old lady might need the money for. It could be true but who knows.

KS Neelesh

Yea moris eyes are like that just cuz of design nothing special he just made up a story about that old lady on the spot

Sunshine Hall

Lol he didn't read her life with his eyes, he just imagined all the problems that could come with losing money and chose to go after her

Robinson

That stunner got me hype asf when i seen it😂😂

JsnSkg

Lupa actually said "The High School of God" or "God's High School"..... XD "The God of High School" would be more like, "High School no Kami"... (think of it like "The High School's God") if you wanted to stick with the half Japanglish title. Lol. When it comes to possessive sentences that use the word "of," it switches around in Japanese (most of the time anyway, there might be a few exceptions out there).

Coco

Ill tell you now that that whole scenario with the old lady needing the money and such was just in his head.

Maurice

Fasten your seatbelts, youre in for greatness with this season.

godUsoland

Plot? Who needs plot? TOURNAMENT ARC!!!! Everyone can catch hands.

Anonymous

7:22 Tell me that's not Mori riding the bike across the water

godUsoland

I see ya'll acting slick, with that 9anime logo in small print :D

TheToweringOtakunt

The manhwa was hilarious for this because Mira is just randomly drawn as a hyper-buff dude. It's like how the guy depicts her getting serious. It's so fuckin' stupid, but I love it.

DomClare

You know how the saying goes team, everyone's a gangsta 'til Mori starts kickin

Jay

I did not expect this firxt episode to be this good, I’ve read a good amount of the WEBTOON and they did an amazing job at making this an anime

Anonymous

22:25 I need to buy this Energy = (Mad)(Cock)^2 underwear.

Joel Braaten

As soon as I watched the first episode I was so looking forward to all your reactions lol.

Alex cleveland

Mori and that girl who did the stunner are my favorite characters so far... Gotdamn idk how but they made me love Mori A LOT in a matter of just one ep...😳

Delinda Arts

Bruh this first ep felt like 5 minutes lmao I was so sad when those credits popped up

R3APER

Mori straight up Fooly Cooly'd Mira. Channeled straight Haruko energy. Damn this shit was hype. Webcomics are winning right now. Wasn't sure about the series from the trailer but I'm sold now. We need Solo Leveling next.

Bona Fide

LMAO I LOVE YOU GUYS MAN

liam joyce

This shit looks amazing but really don’t like the MC’s voice actor reminds me of asta from black clover

MrNoor114

Oh its gonna be one of those animes where the leave on a FUCKIN CLIFFHANGER EVERYTIME!

Kaz Z.

wow God of Highschool came out swinging

Austin Yun

GoH bout to be carried by the animation because that shit was lit. I've read the webtoon. It's OK. No Tower of God that's for sure. It does get significantly more interesting in... maybe s2 or s3 of the anime?

ZeroText

Its supposed to be 13 Episodes according to Anichart.

sim
>>39903929

tower god is not THAT good ive been reading it since 2014 its quite literally a typical battle shounen in a big world. GoHS is not meant to try and be super deep but comedy focusing on characters and fights. both are enjoyable and good for their own reasons

sim

Park is a monster, what a great director he is, cant wait for mroe of his storyboards this episode was insane. some of those impact frames were something else man. what a spectacle to watch and a great intro episode, they did change it a bit from the manwha but its better like this imo

sim

this op was really inspired by a black clover spin off op LMAO wild

sim
>>39905024

just so you know park was using the suits you use when making games to track motions but for the martial arts aspect like how avatar used photos as references but this they actually got dudes in suits

Haaa?

You guys are into a treat with this series especially if you like tournament/action type shonen nothing but action here

Patrick Powell

The amount of HEAT throughout this anime is going to be top tier through and through. #NOCAP

Haaa?

Also the old lady didnt tell him anything he made up the story in his mind lmao that aint this mans ability

kurumi Tokisaki

Its not a cold enough stunner unless they bounce back and start rolling around on the ground whilst holding their head.

Tay

team 7 has been formed

Tay

LMFAOO all i could think about when he said "alright start fighting right now was the mr krabs meme.

Doug

"Moonbucks" Lupa takes a sip of his starbucks - we see you!

Doug

Do all the main/dope characters have cauliflowed ears and red noses?

L
>>39909567

Minus the Sakura character from the looks of it. This bitch is an actual likable character unlike the shit stain of the team 7 bitch in Naruto.

L

I don't care much for the opening music.... It is cool but I don't go to anime to listen to rave music.

RavinFox .

I'm so glad I decided to watch the reaction first. Quadrupled hype!

L
>>39897523

So this is just gonna have random shit without explanation just like TOG huh.... -_-

Deric Jackson
>>39897523

It was done for the sole purpose of comedy so doesn't really need to explain it. Plus only time it happens.

EZ
>>39898764

We can have plot flashbacks during the ass kicking lol

David
>>39898995

They watch it on Crunchyroll but to actually export the video for us to watch along they have to get it elsewhere.

Delinda Arts

Mori’s boots remind me of Goku’s DBZ boots and I love it😭

HowardisBoss
>>39896734

I think it was in one of the last polls but it got bodied in favor of Shield Hero. But idk if they've done polls since.

Isiah Thomas

not gonna lie, this anime has so much personality it kinda reminds me of how air gear is

Cablemonkey

I sincerely hope lupasan’s “god hand bitch slap” was a reference to Kung fu hustle, I know they would have had so much fun watching that.

Belt Cedd

RIP to the poor lad who got hit with the stunner.

Jigga Man

that stone cold stunner chick though 😂 that was heeeeattt

JunpeiFES .
>>39897523

I was wondering about that too, they all ready assumed he could see the past or future 😂 i found it like mori made that up as well. I mean, some people are like that “oh poor thing, probably doesnt have food for the rest of the week 😢” and has enough ramen cups for two weeks but we empathize sometimes 😆

Devin B

This first ep was definitely lit but I wished they didn't leave out some stuff from the manwha. It feels somewhat rushed.

GeneralDisarray
>>40044191

Really could have added R getting his arm broke, and cut back the old ladies purse... That 1 scene really shows you what you are looking for in Mori and the series and how strong he is.

KimKaiRen

Lupa is hilarious

Temeculous

Watching that air shot of him off the cliff, I think that Mappa should redo Air Gear. The ending in the manga was anticlimatic...but overall it has alot of spots for some really nice animations and fights.

lud_genesis

yo i actually heard that for the martial arts move we see were all done likw sports that suit they use? but then they added extra flare to it

rickie woodson

why is this in japanese? its a korean anime/manhwa........... koreans do love the divin in their titles. god of study is one such kdrama

rickie woodson

that rap was FIRE. muricans just dont get asian hip hop

rickie woodson

family name first so he is really daewi, not han
