ok

Damn this scene in the sub literally disturbed me for YEARS. Still okay but damn. What a difference.

ok

20:18 it's actually a massive failure of dub in general that they can't properly exert emotion. why is it like this? it's not as if american voice actors cant portray emotion, so why does it sound like this? i dont get it. so underwhelming. and this is one of the best dubs of all time??

Bro you need a tampon to mop up all these tears? Your whining is getting old

Brady

Such a wholesome episode :D

Gameguy1128

Ah yes the episode in which we learn how to tearbend 😢

Vonte

In FMA it was worse in a way because there were a few episodes where the boys spent more time with Nina. If I remember correctly. Despite that, this still hits regardless

Waka Flocha Flame

Bruuuh... And I thought Goku was the worst dad ever in anime lmao

J. J.
>>41552514

Yeah, they did this part better in the original because it was a multi-episode arc

Bruh, your name tho? Askeladds dad tho?? King Sweyn tho????? Way worse than Goku

All the homies hate Shou Tucker

Pink Sama

Roshi idk if u noticed but Edwards voice actor is the same voice actor for Broly in the dragon ball super movie

R3APER

This episode is so hard to get through on rewatches because you know what's bout to happen.

R3APER

Watch out for the rain in this series. That's all I'm saying

Man, right? My heart was literally sinking when Tucker tell them to play the next day

miri

no matter how many times i rewatch this episode, whether it's by myself, with a friend, or through a reaction channel, i can't help but get teary eyed. it's unforgettable. i'm really enjoying all your theorizing as well, can't wait to see your reactions to what lies ahead!

Joel Braaten

Shou Tucker is a piece of garbage. Also in the original anime adaptation, we spent a lot more time with Nia so this moment hit us the viewer even harder, but Brotherhood still did an okay job getting the point across.

Pictomancer

While I love Brotherhood, this particular mini-arc hurt a whole lot more in the earlier FMA anime

Josiah

The guy that died in the beginning and Tucker play different roles and I kinda wish we got another version of this show that combines FMA and FMAB to get an even better show. Even tho FMAB is the best anime of all time a combination of the two would be even better. Like the little that this show lacks the orginal does great

Kreative

I think you might wanna raise the volume juuuuuust a lil on the anime. Never noticed before but since its a dub its actually hard to follow without having the audio super loud.

artisticSarcasm

You know it's bad even after all these years I see that thumbnail and gotta look away immediately

Narutofreak94

Even after all these years I absolutely still despise Shou Tucker with all my being. I don't care if he felt this was his last life line. With the original they gave you a few episodes to get to know Nina and then this happened but both versions definitely still hold that shock factor. I love this series because it is beautifully dark.

TJ Frangie

Man I love this show. It can be so dark though. Actuallly, it’s mostly dark...lol. But it feels real. Life isn’t great sometimes and you just gotta keep pushing through all that bullshit. Love the story and themes and I’m super glad Roshi is finally watching it. Can’t see enough of this show, I’ve probably rewatched it like 20 times.

Mario Huizar

Am I the inky one having audio issues? I can’t hear anything lol

DBJXXVIII

Scar’s alchemy always reminds me of Hei’s contractor power from Darker Than Black (must watch btw)

cassherms

Worst parent ever

Shawn Nguyen

be prepared to have depression watching the show

Jay rellim

i know this isn't an FMAB comment, but you should take a few minutes to watch this now that you're done w/ hunter! it shows the palace invasion in "real time" since so much shit happened simultaneously lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjiHClo2rmc

yeah the diff in the animation style defintely sold it better in the earlier, and they drew it out more.

Cody Braim

This episode is cursed

Hi-Shin

It just took this episode and I knew this show will be goated. All in all this is by far my favorite anime and even in my top3 shows of all time. It just has everything (story, animation, music, villains, goat mc, perfect length and i could go on and on) You`re definitely on a roll this past few month with legendary shows Roshi, Avatar, HunterxHunter and Fulmetal back to back is crazy nice, on top of that mix in a little bit of Haikyuu...Im jealous, wish I could remove my memories and experience these shows for the first time again. Keep them episodes coming please :)

J Valentine

I haven't seen the episode yet. Just the thumbnail. Me: "Oh no.. oh no... this is gonna be bad times.."

Christina

If your brain is getting folded now... just wait till the end😏😏 this show makes you question ALL your beliefs!

Lyric Laude

Im surprised you didnt say anything about how he sounded like android 17. Also al was whooping his ass with the metal arm too lol.

David

Episode 3 had perfect audio, this episode it feels like maybe the mic audio too high just a bit or anime audio too low. Still sounds better than the first two tho!

Anonymous

For some reason audio is not any good like I’ve listened to the other streams you’ve had and they were amazing.

Heavenly Demonic Emperor

That's shit still get me man but I can't seems to tear up bro there is pain but there are no tears

danny

bruh this was depressing as fuck

Ohais

I always have to skip through this episode whenever I watch it. It always gets me man

Anonymous

my favorite episode.
